"Splendid." Caelash double checks the mayor's bonds and helps Ian and Uriel break camp after preparing spells and the like.
"I'd like to give this creature a proper burial, as well as its victim. You don't have to help if you don't wish to involve yourself in such grisly work." Caelash then sets about looking for a seam on the victim's skin; barring that, he will skin the flesh off the Nebul, and start making 2 burial plots (either shallow graves with a stone marker, or stone piles if digging takes too long). Caelash takes all the items from the creature's corpse and sets them aside, so that Ian and Uriel may go through them if they wish.

There is a cut in the stomach, inside you see a cat sized carb/spider looking thing, it has very long legs with four joints on each leg, at the end of which are a mass of hair thick tentacles
Ian agrees "It will be harder for it to come back after we burn it. Luckily I have a magic item that may make burning it faster." Ian draws his campfire bead. Ian then says we might need more firewood.

With the help of the mayor, you have burried the woman and burned the creature, it made popping noises when it burned and produceds a sickly green smoke
For now, I am going to accept that our mayor here does not have one of those things wrapped in his innards. For now...
I suggest we travel to our area, scout the location and prepare our ambush. We have one seal to use. Should one of use pretend to be the nebul? It may very well have taken our shape had it killed us.

As you arrive at Red Yard, you see the red stained shore and cliffs, there is a bunch of large logs nailed together to make strange structures and a few logs to sit on. There is a cave on the cliff face, it isn't very deep. there is a rowing boat up turn on the shore.
Ian will look around to see if he finds anyone.perception 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30
Then if Ian does not see anyone he will look for tracks to see if anyone has been out of the row boat recently.survival1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
So, do we wish to capture and interrogate these villains or are we just going to wait and kill all that show up and maybe saving one that goes down? Be wary of their mind affecting abilities
With that, Uriel loads his gun and prepares for battle and draws forth his mutagen for use.
Ian replies "Yes that cave does look nice. How will we see out when they get here. Polynium, my eidolon, can see in the dark so I should summon him. " Ian then grumbles "Why did the meeting have to be at the new moon."

moments later you see the two men who asked you to leave the town arrive, the one in the armour is wearing a red cape over his armour, the one with the robe is carring a different type of staff than the one he had in the town. the don't pay attention to the cave as they seem to be making a number of fires around the beach
Ian will draw his greatsword and whispers "
ready." while checking behind him and around his surronding to make sure there are not any problems.
perceptions 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
Then Ian will charge the man with armor on the next round if he is within range.
We have dealt 39-45 HP to him, depending on whether my first arrow hit or not. Just to get a meta-feel for how badly we have hurt him, so we can make sure our characters use sound tactics.

So initiative order is as follows:
Armoured man+ robe wearing man
Uriel
Caelash
Ian
The armoured man draws his sword in a flash and strikes thrusts it at Uriel with a smooth action, before turning and making a slashing blow at Ian
To hit Uriel 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13
To wound 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
To hit Ian 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
To wound 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
The robe wearing man turns to Caelash, and from the distance shapes the arcane magic shooting an arc of lighting at Caelash [Caelash, make a reflex and fort save]
Sucks that the far away mage was not only aware in the surprise round, but also able to see me with the cumulative -1 penalty per 10 feet of distance to Perception checks, and my partial cover from the cave...

well you pass the reflex but failed the fort so Caelash you take 2d4 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2 points of electric damage and are sickened for 1 round, it is your turn now Caelash
