Adonnenniel takes a deep breath before plunging once again into the darkness, sword lighting the way. How deep did this tower go? She had expected to run into something other than dead Koblods by this point. It was beginning to unnerve her.

And thinking about the Kobolds only reminded her of how they died. They must have set something off. She steps cautiously as she moves forward, taking a moment to look at each step before making it.

Did the trap reset automatically? Or did the Kobolds unwittingly disable it for us?

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

There were doors both up and down, right? I was under the impression we entered from the door at the top and the only new path was down. Please let me know if this is not correct.

Is it just me, or did it just get really quiet?

Adonnenniel takes a second to look back over her should to make sure she hasn't been abandoned. Left alone. In this big dark tower. With traps. And monsters.

She takes another deep breath to calm herself. You're an adventurer now, she thinks to herself in a cheerful tone. Big and brave. What will the others think if they see you acting afraid? Assuming they are still back there...

"Certainly, Mr. Rockhopper. After all, a door headimg down is really just a lid on a large jar below you."

Erynion follows along, keeping a watchful eye out as well. Heading out of the natural light, his eyes adjust quickly to the darkness and he packs away his parasol.

The walls of this chamber have buckled precariously in several places, and masonry and dirt are scattered across the floor— the collapse above plainly caused this structural damage. The dry-rotted frames of five simple beds lie against the north and south walls. To the southwest, the room broadens into a larger chamber. A rusted, grinning iron statue stands in an alcove in the north wall between the two wings of the room itself, and in the wall to the south is an old iron door.

Both Klodd and Eynion both spots the centipede duo rushing towards them.

Irathes quickly says two words in Necril, which the party later learns translate loosely to Rage, Rubble!. Irathes' eyes turn black as night, and those of his poppet (normally sewn shut) burst open to show they're equally dark.

The debris on the floor in front of the party begins to leap and whirl, thrown about by an unseen force.

Assuming that's enough to identify them, he begins his Naturalist performance to give the party +1 on attack rolls against the centipedes, +1 to AC against their attacks, and +1 to saving throws against any Ex, Sn, or Sp abilities from them.

Irathes casted Raging Rubble. Sorry I should've linked it earlier. Basically the rocks and debris in two contiguous 5-foot squares is going nuts, and it hurts anyone/thing that travels through them as per the link.
I also forgot to say that Irathes held his left hand out toward the area...

Male Half-Elf Witch-Gravewalker/1; HP 8/8; AC-12/12/10; F+2,R+2,W+3; INIT +2; Per. +1

Nevermind, Irathes instead uses the Misfortune hex (standard action; looks similar to how I described the spell, only the poppet isn't involved) and then Cackles madly (Cackle hex; move action) while taking a (5-foot) step back. Sorry for the rule confusion, I'm new to casting.

Adonnenniel moves up toward the Centipedes. This isn't scary. Everyone is counting on her. She takes a defensive stance as she attacks the nearest target.

Klodd awakens from his nightmare that he had been bit.

Dodging aside at the last second, Klodd tries to position himself so that he can flank one of the vermin. {Flank?}

Careful exmanination of the door seems to reveal no traps on it. It does reveal that the lock is unusual. There are no key holes nor tumblers to be tripped instead a knob replaces the key hole and it seems to be moveable. Each time it is turned clockwise or anticlockwise, a series of clicks can be heard.

Adonnenniel's eyes grow wide as she turns to look at Telthes. She turns her head to glance at Klodd. Then she suddenly jerks as she realizes she is in front of the door, as if she had not come over to look at it, but it had instead snuck up behind her.

Once she realized she where she was, she wasted no time. She looked around for something, anything. She finally settled on Erynion and the bodies of the centipedes as a suitable distraction.

She feigns interest in the centipedes as she rather quickly walks away from the door.

"What did you discover about them, Erynion?" she asks, as she kneels beside on of the bodies. She absentmindedly studies it, recognizing the wound the party caused that finally spelt its death. But she can't take in much of what she is seeing.

Telthes didn't seem like an elf of Mordant Spire, although she couldn't be sure. He did seem like a strong warrior, although to her he seemed quiet. It could simply be his nature, but perhaps it was from living alone, apart from his own kind. Although, in this group, the elves seem to outnumber the non-elves.

Adonnenniel poked the centipede in an attempt to hide her concern over the fight that she was sure to break out.

What can Telthes be thinking? Especially after the outburst earlier? Why would he try and tell Jar-Master Rockhopper how to open a jar!?

The centipedes looks starved judging by their condition and it's likely that they wouldn't have lived past the day. Your coming in drove them into a frenzy at the prospect of food.
