The Lashunta tries to focus fire upon the pirate ship!
High Explosive Missile Launcher: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 1 = 16, for 4d8 ⇒ (4, 4, 5, 4) = 17 damage.
"A new blow is struck/
fire in the unending void/
the pyre of evil."

Bonra grunts angrily as Riker takes over the turret and shoves him out but when the Lashunta hits the enemy ship he gives an approving nod as he moves to the forward gun and fires that instead.
Light Laser Canon: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 192d4 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4

Shifty |

1d100 ⇒ 54
1d2 ⇒ 1
Both shots hit, the missile launcher making a mess of the shields and tearing up the hull, then the laser strikes across their port side as well. You see their frontal weapons array begin behaving erratically once more!
Their ship looks pretty horribly mauled.
Just compressing the rounds a little
ENGINEERING PHASE
Pirate - Engineering - 1d20 ⇒ 8
Nothing seems to happen.
HELM PHASE
Pirate - Science 1d20 ⇒ 7
Pirate - Piloting 1d20 ⇒ 6
The pirate ship scoots forward.
Pilot + Science Officer up.

Finding that he was not a very good shot with the guns compared to the others, Telgan switched over to the Science controls "[/b]I have the sensors targeting the core, Blast them![/b]" he called over the intercom.
Computers: 20 + 10 = 30
I guess I would have switched before the Engineering phase. Is there any bonus for criting the check?. If I can not change, guess I just crit with the gun I was on.

"Nice targeting Telgan. I'll bring the ship around and get them in our sights!"
Taugotavol brings the ship around the rear of the pirate vessel and tries to keep out of their big gun's firing arc.
piloting, evade: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

Shifty |

Telgan, what was the actual die roll there? you can certainly roll for the Targeting,
but I think you missed the '1d' before the 20
:p
Taug moves the ship with grace and precision once more!
GUNNERY PHASE
As your daring pilot does a flyby of the asteroid and out of the arc of the frontal guns the Pirates are left with the coilgun only once more...
Attack 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 6 - 2 = 9 OR 1d20 + 6 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 6 - 2 = 6
The coilgun misses you by miles.
party up!

@Bonrakoru: There are two guns in the turret - I only took over the one you were not using...
The Lashunta keeps firing!
High Explosive Missile Launcher: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 1 = 18, for 4d8 ⇒ (7, 5, 2, 5) = 19 damage.
"Explosive packages/
the end of the beginning/
a final great blast."

Oops, let's try this again.Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

I forgot we weren't using the ship info that's on the campaign tab.
Bonra takes his seat at the Coil Gun again and fires a successful shot at their for, pumping his fist in the air as he surveys the damage he dealt.
Coilgun: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 224d4 ⇒ (4, 4, 2, 2) = 12
Critical: 1d100 ⇒ 81 Power Core

Shifty |

With the breach left from the HEML in the enemy hull, the Coil Gun just shreds through the enemy hull and into the power core - there is a smaller explosion as the enemy hull ruptures and the air inside ignites momentarily - before being extinguished by the cold vacuum of space.

With the Lawblight defeated, you return to Absalom Station with the information retrieved from the wreckage of the Unbounded Wayfarer. Venture-Captain Arvin greets you with a warm smile as you disembark. “You can undergo the tedium of a complete debrief later. First, I’ve arranged for you all to enjoy a few days’ downtime in Kemanis, at the high-end clubs, theaters, and VR parlors. You’ve earned it. But,” he warns, with a sly twinkle in his eye, “after that, it’ll be time to put you back to work.”
Congrats :)

Taugortavol spends just enough time in the the clubs to satisfy his own beliefs on what camaraderie should be before making his excuse to leave.
"Good job team. We clearly worked well together. Maybe the Starfinders will gather us up for another missions some day? Until then, may Iomedae watch over you!"
He holds a closed fist over his heart as combination salute and mark of respect to the rest of the crew before heading out to find the nearest shrine to his god for some quiet contemplative prayer.
Thank you all for the game, especially Shifty for jumping in to help us finish out the full set of quests.
