Rev, is it possible for Brujo to double move and then mark an enemy?

Can't see why not. Marking is usually a minor action.

How about this for instrumental music, sorry battle song?
The March

So many musical options to choose from. I now have an image of Leo marauding up and down boosting morale while Erik pulls eldritch music from his songblade and Caine chants heroically. Meanwhile Snaggletooth will try to hum along and Brujo and Perigia will look adoringly at each other while sending disruptive arcane bursts around the room.

Huge apologies everyone. I didn't see Brujo's post at the bottom of the last page and was waiting for him.

Brujo moves alongside Perigia and awaits developments.

The manglers don't speak, but seem to be in communication with each other as M2 moves to flank its fallen ally. When M1 rises, they both unleash attacks on Commander Caine, driving their long claws into him and sending the warlord reeling with the aftershock.

Spellplagued Touch (Ref). On hit target takes 5 ongoing force damage. Additional 2d6 for flanked target (1d20+10=29, 1d4+6=7, 2d6=11)
Spellplagued Touch (Ref). On hit target takes 5 ongoing force damage. Additional 2d6 for flanked target (1d20+10=26, 1d4+6=10, 2d6=7)

Leo runs forward and tries to jump across the section in front of him depicting the eye and then calls upon his faith to strike down the vile infidels before him.

Athletics check: 1d20+11:11+11 for a total of 22 hope this allows for Leo to reach J-9 where he immediately employs Sign of Vulnerability on Mangler#1 which is a 1d20+7 vs its Fortitude: 13+7+2 for 22 if flanking it counts as where he's located Caine is directly behind it just don't know if it applies in this case.

My understanding of the Athletics skills suggests it can't exceed Leo's move which because he ran 4 squares means he's limited to a further 3 thanks to his Move+2. If this hits its does 3d8+4 radiant damage: 4+8+1+4 for 17pts of radiant damage leaving it with vulnerability to radiant damage of 5 until the end of the encounter and if it misses it takes 8 damage and no vulnerability to radiant damage.

Then Leo spends the action point he regained at the end of the last battle to employ Eyebite on the madman: 1d20+7 vs will: 8+7 for a total of 15 I doubt that even comes close but if it did it does 1d6+4 psychic damage for 10pts of damage leaving leo invisible until the end of his next turn as I said extremely unlikely even if he's already mad and blinded anyway. Leo used his inspiring word for the day on Mother Bharra I think I misspelt that mind you!.

Athletics looks right to me. No flanking bonus, but you hit M1 anyway. You also hit the madman, although how he can be any blinder than blind is a little hard to adjudicate. It's Mother Bartha by the way :D Like Martha, but with a "B".

Leo's leap takes him over the mosaic and his horror at the perversions confronting him guides his hand. M1 flinches back as the radiant power of Kelemvor strikes it. The madman too is struck by some horror even he can barely tolerate as the paladin goes to work.

In response, the madman flails wildly with his chains, and screams again.

"More gifts! More gifts! "

Another mangler seems to burst from his sightless eyes and two more creatures, even more hulking and misshapen explode from his chest.

Erik goes into a flurry of arcane chanting and singing on his turn, shifting his shield onto Caine and healing him with a chorus of healing magic.

Then, with a wave of his songblade, Erik uses his song to call a beam of sunlight and lets it shine brightly upon the mangler closest to him. The sun is weak inside the underground chambers, however, and the beam fizzles harmlessly.

Minor Action: Sustain and transfer Canon of Avoidance onto Caine (+2 to all defenses).

Minor Action: Majestic Word on Caine. Caine may spend a surge +4 hit points. He also gains 4 temporary hit points and may slide 1 square for free if he chooses.

Standard Action: Song of New Dawn vs. M1; 14 vs. REF for 13 radiant damage.

Male Kobold Rogue 6

But before Erik does all that, Snaggletooth moves to the other side of M1 (move to I10, minor-shift to J10) and due to flanking, gains CA against M1, riposte strike, +14 vs AC, 27, if hit, d4+4+2d8+3, 2+4+15+3 or 24hp damage and setup interrupt attack

"No, you not hurt Caine! Get off him!" Snaggletooth yells as he moves to engage one of the Maulers.

The seconds that follow the appearance of the new spellplagued are filled with activity as Snaggletooth darts towards M1 and bloodies it and Erik sends a combination of healing and added defensive power into Caine.

The warlord wins some time thanks to his friends and the chamber hums with the exultant notes of the songblade.

Revived and newly dangerous, Caine emerges from the nest of manglers and strikes true, deliberately leaving an inviting opening for the perversion to attack him in the sure knowledge that Snaggletooth will spot the opportunity. The mangler is too tempted to miss such a chance and rakes at Caine, sending more shocking waves through him.

Anyone else hving trouble finding things since they changed the boards yesterday?

EDIT - yes, the lines befuddled me horribly, but I'm growing accustomed.

Blithely ignoring the mosaics, Brujo heads towards B1, hoping to distract the abomination. His frost blade glints as it rises and falls, but something about the spellplagued horror puts him off.

Undeterred, he marks B1 with his aegis, challenging the brute to harm his friends.

Greenflame Blade (AC). Allows Brujo to shift 2 squares before the attack. On hit, attack deals 7hp fire damage to all enemies adjacent to the target (1d20+11=12, 1d8+6=10). Sorry Laz. Rolled a 1.

The manglers twist and stretch, long claws extended and flailing. M1 darts between Caine, Snaggletooth and Leo, clawing as it goes. Its claws lash out, landing blows on all three.

Plague dance. 4 touch attacks (Ref), shifting after each one. Versus Caine, Snaggletooth, Leo and Caine again. (1d20+10=13, 1d4+6=10, 1d20+10=25, 1d4+6=7, 1d20+10=21, 1d4+6=8, 1d20+10=21, 1d4+6=8). 7hp damage to Leo (5 ongoing (se)); 8hp damage to Snaggletooth (5 ongoing (se)); 8hp damage to Caine (5 ongoing se)

Despite the ripples of force shaking his small body, Snaggletooth remains dangerous and lashes out in retaliation.

M2 dances eagerly into the fray, claws lashing as it passes Caine, Snaggletooth and then twice at Leo. It draws more blood from Caine and the paladin, glowing with satisfaction.

Leo grimaces in pain as he calls upon his faith to ward off his adversaries.

Divine challenge on M1 employs Righteous Smite on him: 1d20+11 vs AC: 19+11 for a total of 30 to hit, damage is 2d8+5 for a total of 9 damage, sorry his use of the holy symbol should have gone before the save as its an immediate reaction so its +5 bonus increases his original roll of 6+5 to 11 and all allies within 5 squares of Leo gains 7pts of temporary hp which cannot be stacked with any other power that grants temp hp and Leo is currently bloodied

Leo's sword literally shines with silvery light as he slashes at his nearest foe even as he keeps on his toes as he knows another foe is dangerously near.

I'll hold off updating until I know the results of Snaggletooth's riposte strike. All duly noted Leo.

Male Kobold Rogue 6

riposte strike (+14 vs AC, 25, if hit, 2+4=6hp damage)

EDIT: didn't see that Caine moved, it's only 22, not 25, because I no longer have CA, but if by some chance I killed him, he didn't get a chance to hurt me or others since it was an interrupt.

Leo - did you roll a save v the ongoing?

Between Snaggletooth's rapid action and Leo's invocation of divine power, M1 falls before another second can pass.

The berserks commune silently with each other and B1 extends a glowing blue claw towards Brujo, raking violently at the swordmage. The claw sinks in, sending tendrils of corruption winding into his flesh.

Blueflame claw (AC). On hit roll secondary attack at +12 (Fort). V Brujo (1d20+16=31, 2d6+5=11). 11hp damage to Brujo and B1 makes secondary attack v Fort.
Blueflame claw (Fort) - secondary attack on Brujo (1d20+12=22)

B2 charges Caine, claws glowing, but over-reaches and misses the warlord
Blueflame Claw (AC) - inc 5 if hits for charge. On hit, makes secondary attack (+12-Fort). V Caine (1d20+16=22, 2d6+5+5=21)

The scorched and wounded madman screams again and another manger explodes from him, glowing and dangerous.

All of Leo's temp HP are making me and my virtue feel rather unnecessary. :)

Erik lends some healing to the bloodied Leo with another magnificent song and then moves into flanking position with Brujo. With a deep breath, Erik then lets out a thunderous roar which is enhanced even more by the powers of his songblade. The great shout washes over M3, Brujo, and B1, but Brujo is protected by the more harmful tones.

Minor Action: Majestic Word on Leo; Leo may spend a surge +6 extra hit points. He also gets a free slide in any direction he wants.

Move Action: Move to E10.

Standard Action: Shout of Triumph vs. FORTITUDE;
19 vs. M1 and 27 vs. B1, for 11 thunder damage.

Rev, those attacks allow me to slide Brujo and push the enemies. However, I'd like to know which of those hit before I choose where to put them.

Just realized that my Canon of Avoidance would go away now....oh well. Lousy party getting hurt every round and taking up my minor actions. ;P

Your Shout hits both M3 and B1. Let me know where you're putting them all and I'll update.

Excellent! Push Mangler 3 to H11. Push Berserker 1 to I16. Slide Brujo to G11 so he can flank with Caine. Also, please notice that I said Mangler 3. My last post had a typo in the attack but was correct in the paragraph. I'm going crazy with numbers this week.

No problem. I should have picked it up anyway on account of M1 being dead already. You may want to hang on until Snaggletooth posts his actions before you make final decisions on where you want to shove everyone though.

Snaggletooth looks at Caine and then looks at Brujo. "Blue flame elf needs help, but he not ask for it. Caine is okay, Leo okay, Brujo may not want help, but he get it." he thinks to himself.

minor- shift to I10, move to H10, G9, F9, E10, standard-riposte strike on M3(+14 vs AC, 31, damage=3+4+14+3= 24 hp damage, set up interrupt attack) use action point-use Caine's bravura, +15 vs AC, 27, damage=d4+4= 7hp damage, gain bonus attack- +14 vs AC, 25, if hit, 6hp damage) if everything hits total damage to M3= 37hp and set up interrupt.

Snaggletooth moves up to flank a mangler, and quickly strikes once deeply before the mangler can defend itself and twice in less vulnerable spots. He drops back in a guarded stance, ready to strike if attacked.

Thanks, Caine. Good class feature!

Male Kobold Rogue 6

sorry, I didn't even read your post, Erik. My only other play was flanking with Caine on B2 and it would have required my getting hit with a OA from B2. Not a nice prospect.

besides, for story reasons, I wanted Snaggletooth to help Brujo more. He thinks it will make Brujo like him. We'll see if that is true.

OK. Here is the map post Snaggletooth, and pre-Erik.

Skittering across the tiled floor, Snaggletooth materialises behind M3 and stabs hard in vulnerable places even the mangler was unaware of. Blue ooze drips down the creature's limbs as he bloodies it. The kobold blithely ignores the shattering aftereffects of the earlier attacks.

No flavor, as it'd just be a repeat of the same.

Minor Action: Majestic Word already mentioned above.
Move Action: Move across mosaic to H11.
Standard Action: Shout of Triump vs. FORT;
11 vs. B1; 18 vs. M4; 26 vs. S for 8 thunder damage.

On a hit leave Brujo with his flanking. Push M4 to H17, and push S away from his allies into L14. Not as much fun as my other plan but we'll see what happens.

Erik's songblade hums with healing power before exploding in a note that rivals the force generated by the spellplagued abominations. B1 is unaffected, but both M4 and the madman are pushed away from the companions. In the case of the madman, he is dragged to a halt by the outstretched chains and can only gawp helplessly as the iron bites into his ravaged wrists.

Black line indicates stretched chain. You can't just move through it. You either have to jump over or go around.

Perigia's action is dependent on what Caine does, but theis what I have planned for now. She will move to N4 and the as a Minor Action use Call Spirit Companion in H12. Then she will use Call the Savage Elder to hit B1 1d20+6=[20, 6] and Crits for 19 damage. Caine, Erik, and Brujah each get a +2 damage bonus to their next melee attack roll. Then she will spend an AP and cast Magic Missile at M2 1d20+8, 2d4+5=[17, 8], [3, 4, 5] 25 to hit vs. Reflex, 12 damage if it hits.

OK. I'll give him until tomorrow morning (UK time) and if he hasn't posted by then, will act on his behalf.

Moving to size up the battlefield, Perigia conjures a snarling spirit wolf in the midst of the warriors and the creature launches itself unerringly at M3's throat. Finding her arcane rhythm with ease, she fires magic missiles hard into M2. The force of the assault bloodies the abomination.

"Kelemvor grant me the strength to overcome these foes!" Leo calls out as he tries to respond to the mangler's attack.

Sorry if you repeated this but if he saves this round does he still take the 5 damage for this round?

Female Genasi Firesoul Wizard 7

Happy Labor Day everyone.

No problem repeating rules Leo :) Unless you are a warden or have some other power which allows it, you always make saves versus ongoing at the end of your turn and take the damage at the start of your turn. Thus any save ends effect will usually do at least one turn of damage to you.

Thank you for the Labor Day wishes. Most appropriate. Classes and school restarted after the summer holidays today.

Leo's blow just misses the mangler, but he keeps it away from Perigia and calls on Kelemvor to mark B2. His prayers are answered and his rids himself of the force damage beating at him.

The madman screams once more, ever higher-pitched and yet another Berserk explodes from him. This latest arrival communes silently with its allies and B1 jabs casually at Brujo, catching the swordmage offguard long enough for a claw to rake at him.
Home rolling: +16 (Ref)= 25; 2d6+5=11 damage to Brujo and makes secondary attack v Fort (+12), which misses.

Then B1 shifts away. B2 likewise eases towards the edge of the room.

IMPORTANT (and my own fault for not reading it properly). Please note if you are using any charm effects on the Berserks. From here on in, if you do, I need to know.
