Sczarni

Male Human Sage

Randall Surprised by the fact that his Magic Missile didn't destroy the Skeleton on the first hit, decides to move for a better shot. Then blasts away again.

This should do the trick.

Die you undead scourge.

Magic Missile to south skeleton: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Male Ifrit Bard (Magician) 5/ Dragon Disciple 1 | HP 47/47 | AC 20, touch 13, Flat-footed 17 | CMB +4 | CMD 17 | Fort +4, Ref +8, Will +7 | Perception +7

Janji, still humming and swaying, walks 10 feet diagonally and fires an arrow at the nearest undead.

Attack Roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Damage Roll: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Free: Continue Performance (6/8 rounds left)
Move: 10 feet diagonally
Standard: Attack with shortbow

Janji, moves a few feet, looses and arrow that sails very low and thuds in the dirt.

The remaining skeletons advance. The one Janji shot at, goes after him, while the other charges at Yurei.

Kale, if you want an AOO on the skeleton you may, but it gets a bonus to AC do to the hut

attack on Janji if it survives AOO, AC 18, MWK dagger: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 61d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

charging attack Yurei, WMK scimitar, AC 17 : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

charging crit?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 131d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

The skeleton charges at Yurei. It raises it's scimitar high in the air, and slashes Yurei across the clavicle, nearly missing a major artery. He feels blood flow from the wound on his neck, but otherwise stays standing.

After seeing Yurei take a pretty good hit, that could have been a lot worse, Randall sends another ball of force at the skeleton he blasted earlier. This time, the skeleton's bones shake and rattle, then fall to the ground in a mess.

Skeleton AoO, Guisarme, damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (3, 4) + 6 = 13

The Skelton gets destroyed by Kale's glaive, even despite the blade only partially connecting with its bones. Kale's uses the momentum if the swing to draw his weapons and hack at the zombie. The first swing, is a beautiful arc through the air, coming down across the zombies clavicle and nwvk region. It easily rips through the putrid flesh, and it drops to the ground, in a disgusting lump.

Well I am all out of spells. What to do now?

Randall quickly pulls out his crossbow and lets loose a shot at the zombie to his west.

Yūrei moves to assist Janji, firing an arrow at the skeleton he's engaged with.

Sorry, have been unable to update map, will do so shortly. All skeletons are dead, only 2 zombies remain. The 2 near the bottom left area, one on Kit and one wandering aimlessly looking for flesh. I will say you target the injured zombie with your bow.

Yūrei, let's loose an arrow at the zombie engaged with Kit. It connects with the small of its back and Kit can hear the sickening thud of the point of the arrow lodging itself in the rotting flesh. The zombies tough skin absorbs some of the force of the arrow, inflicting only minor wounds.

The zombie ignores the arrow protruding from its flesh, at rakes at Kit. The other zombie shuffles over to a frighted commoner, ready to strike. The zombie near Kit is thrown off balance by the arrow, she easily avoids the claw.

Randall steps back and musters forth his final magic missile and sends it flying at the already injured zombie. The force, sending the zombie to the ground in a heap of ugly flesh.

Kale runs out of the gap between the tent and the building and heads toward the stand, shouting at the last zombie: Hey! Ugly! Over here!

Yūrei moves towards the last zombie in sight, an arrow ready to fly.

Not sure of the height of the... stage or whatever it is between me and the zom, so I'm going to fire, but if it would be full cover or whatever, just ignore.

sorry, I had a crazy couple days of work

Yurei, moves forward, takes a shot at the remaining zombie. The stage provides the zombie some defenses, as Yurei shot embeds itself in the very top of the stage. Just a few inches is all the difference that was needed.

1d100 ⇒ 6

The zombie claws at the hapless commoner, but swings wild and erratic, leaving the commoner unscathed.

Kale, if i remember correctly, you didn't have a clear line to "run" to you current position. You can double move of course, but not run, I am going to adjust your PC back 40'. Let me know if I am wrong :)

Thanx for patiently waiting

The final undead abomination falls, never to torture the living again. The commoners, after a few seconds start to stir after being frozen in fear. They tend to their own, the ones who got raked by the zombies, all will be okay after some days of rest and some alcohol to help with the mental horror.

A few of the more brave and angry villagers go to inspect some of the zombies,

Hey, Karl these clothes. They look like Marv's

What the hell you talkin' bout?!

Karl goes over to inspect and after a few moments a string of curse words ring out across the grounds. Other villagers confirm that other zombies are dressed in various garb of fellow loved ones only to pass in the recent decade or so.

Your group unsure about how or why, the undead have taken the appearance of their loved ones. You make a search of around the village. You see a cave, well hidden. Right inside you see a corpse, dressed all in black and purple. His body clearly eviscerated from slash and claw marks. On him you find plans to use the village's own deceased, to raise an undead army and take over the surrounding area.

Along with the note, you find:
a ring of protection +1
silver holy symbol (god of undead)
a ceremonial dagger with an onyx skull on the hilt
a silver light mace
1000 gp in onyx gems
5 potion
3 scroll

You go back to the village and report what you found, nobody can believe that anyone could do such a thing. You are thanked, profusely and so much it almost gets overwhelming. They tell you to take whatever is on the skeletons, for they don't have anything of sentimental value to anyone. The zombies, while they have no possessions on value, the few rings and jewelry have been stripped by the family members.

On the skeletons:

MWK dagger
MWK longsword
MWK scimitar
MWK chain shirt (x3)

You are given free lodging for life for the great service you have provided, and go on to your destination.

END SCENARIO

Nice job, and thanks, Stylz.
