S1 is down but stable, S2 is barely able to stand, and S5 might have a cracked rib or two but otherwise fine. Everyone else has not a scratch on them.

Since all I did was hurl arrows, I have my 5 1st level spells.

Ruedo goes to the injured sailors and heals them.

S1: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
S2: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
S5: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11

The unconscious Sailor opened his eyes and began speaking rapidly in his native language at Ruedo. One of his compatriots came over and said in a thick accent, "He say 'thank you.' Many times."

Likewise, the other two said the same thing, only at a much more normal pace.

Ruedo nods at the foreign sailor and his comrade. "We should set sail again. No telling what may arrive next."

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Yawning she scratches the back of her head, "Has that storm or whatever it was passed us by already? I know we were kinda waiting on that and I don't think we should shove off until we're sure it's safe. How do we know when it's safe?" She didn't know anything about the sea, boats, or sailing and it made her feel a little uncomfortable. She changes back into her adorable petite looking self as she smiles up at Ruedo.

Outsider (Phantom) HP: 34/34; AC: 18, Touch: 13, FF: 15; Fort: +2, Ref: +5, Will: +3, Initiative: +2, Perception: +6

"It stopped storming at sunset," Caliban says. "It's been a few hours."

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

She shrugs at the explanation, "Oh..okay. Then yeah, I'm ready to get the hells outta here. First maybe I ought to take a look at Mr. Dead over there." She says before going over to the body to look it over more thoroughly.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Eri:
Picking over his gear, you find a really well-made Trident, a holy symbol of Mitra made from pearl, and note that his armor seems to be made of sea shell.

Also, just an fyi, the dropped crossbow is a Heavy crossbow.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

She shakes her head as she looks up at Cyrus, "This guy has some weird stuff on him. Do you want any of it? There's just his weapon thingy, that stupid symbol, and his armor seems to be made out of some weird sea shells or something...I don't know. I say we just toss his carcass back into the sea and get outta here. We got $hit to do."

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

"Could anyone use the armor?" Ravan asks, taking the crossbow with thanks though she has to adjust a bit for the weight of it. At least it was relatively straight forward to use.

Cyrus crushes the jaw of the priest after his body is stripped of anything useful. "I don't need anything like that."

If there's noting else:

The crew make ready to sail on to your destination. As the sun rises, a chill wind blows across the deck, but it dissipates as the day progresses. At about midday, a group of small boats hugging the coast comes into view. They start to make their way towards your vessel, waving and shouting in broken common. As they get closer, you see three one man kayaks and a larger seal-skin canoe being rowed by four men. In the larger boat, you see what appears to be the spoils of a rather successful hunting trip.

Pulling along side you, a young man stands up and calls out, "I White Tusk of Yutak Tribe. We offer trade of great hunt."

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Earlier

She shakes her head, "Nope."

Also earlier:

"We can sell it for coin or make a nice doormat out of it."

Presently:

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24

"What do you ask for?"

"Metal tipped spears, or spare metal," The man responded.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Trying to look as innocent and demure as possible she kicks the trident at her feet, "Like that?" She says as she changes the pitch of her voice to match the body she was in, while sounding mildly curious.

Not like I have bluff or any of that stuff, but she's not really trying to do anything but maintain her "innocent" persona. She's not really trying to trick them or anything.

I feel obligated to ask this. Would anyone care to retcon an appraisal of the trident?

I doubt any of us have appraise...

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

I don't really know nothing bout weapons other than what end to put into whoever is in my way. Would uncle Pirate know anything about that stuff? Maybe if someone does, they should say something to me before I go giving stuff away? I don't know...but we can't eat a trident....Lol

♂ | HP: 45/45 | AC: 17 | Acr +7, Ath +2, Nat +3, Per +5, Ste +7, Sur +5|Saves: S2*, D7*, C2, I0, W2, Ch0 | Init +4 | PP: 15 | Spd: 35' | Insp: No | HD: 5/5 | Spell DC: 13 | Spells: (4/4) | Status: Madness (Lvl 2)

It's evidence that can be traced back to us. Why do you think I broke his jaw? Because "Dead men tell no tales" is b*$**&@&.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

*shrugs* I don't know what we're doing and I don't know nuthin' bout no pirate speak or whatever. I thought we were taking it cuz we was supposed to sell it or whatever....I didn't need any of that crap and why would you break the jaw of someone that's already dead? There are certain things that just go right over my head. So...are you saying then that we would just leave the stupid trident and crap back there on the beach and not even bring it? If that's the case then we have no buisness with these fishermen either. Not like we're gonna give them our cargo for a bunch of pelts or whatever. I can't delete my post....but to be fair I didn't know cuz no one told me "Don't take that crap on the ship." So does that mean that all these fools gotta die now?

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Oh yeah..wait wait...I think something is coming to me about certain types of people that can raise dead long enough to ask them questions...is that what you meant? The reason you crushed his jaw? Sorry...I wasn't thinking about that. Soooo....what are we doing then?

I think it's about the value of the trident, more than anything.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

*Shrugs* I don't know...I just say stuff.

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

Yeah none of us have appraise anyway

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Okay...so then do we leave the stupid stuff there and just go? I just...I'm confused now and don't know what we're doing...but since we're not supposed to leave any tracks...does that mean that these hunter guys are gonna have to be turned into dog food?

I'll just say it then. It's a +1 Trident.

Looking at the weapon Eri held aloft, the young man simply said, "Yes."

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Wait wait wait...Lol...I don't know if I'm holding anything yet. There was some confusion and now I don't even know if we took the stuff with us or not. I'll just shut up now and let the people here who actually have a functioning brain figure things out because apparently I have NO idea what in all the hells I'm doing.

Yes, you're holding it up. And you're going to ask for a good amount of food in exchange for it.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

*Shakes head* Nuhuh....I kicked it with my foot...here. *points down*

"Trying to look as innocent and demure as possible she kicks the trident at her feet"

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

I don't wanna make the scary pirate mad at me. Lol...but not really laughing...or nervous laugh at best.

Maybe Ravan can use diplomacy to get us a fair deal?

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

*shrugs* I'm sorry okay...I didn't know we weren't supposed to take it. I guess it's too late now to say I didn't take it....it was shiny...what was I supposed to do? Go ahead and yell at me now. *sigh*

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I'm sure the trident can't be traced unless there are serial numbers on the damn thing.

Better out in the wild while some of us are disguised then in a town with guilds and paperwork.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Huh? Will someone please just tell me what to do?

I get yelled at when I do that, no thank you.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Wait...wait...no nevermind. Henry just explained to me what you meant...I'm sorry, I try not to be stupid, but sometimes I don't think I can help it and I've been having a very "blond" kind of day all day long. Okay...so give the hunters the shiny and take food instead yes?

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

I'm sorry, I'll try to be less defensive.

I forgot what I was disguised as. Lol

Female Human Sorceress 4/Archmage 2; HP: 27/27; AC: 15, T: 12; FF: 11; Fort: +3, Reflex: +6, Will: 7, Init: +10, Perception: +0

"What is it worth to you?" Ravanalonna asks.

The young man bends down and holds up an eight foot narwhal horn, "This."

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

Getting a curious and somewhat confused look on her face she crinkles her nose as she points at it, "What's that? Can you eat it?"

♂ | HP: 45/45 | AC: 17 | Acr +7, Ath +2, Nat +3, Per +5, Ste +7, Sur +5|Saves: S2*, D7*, C2, I0, W2, Ch0 | Init +4 | PP: 15 | Spd: 35' | Insp: No | HD: 5/5 | Spell DC: 13 | Spells: (4/4) | Status: Madness (Lvl 2)

Appraise: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19

"Ivory, and no it's not food... Nor should you try and eat it." Cyrus answers.

Cyrus:
From where you're standing, the horn looks to be a very high quality ivory. Strong and flexible enough to perhaps be used as a weapon.

♂ | HP: 45/45 | AC: 17 | Acr +7, Ath +2, Nat +3, Per +5, Ste +7, Sur +5|Saves: S2*, D7*, C2, I0, W2, Ch0 | Init +4 | PP: 15 | Spd: 35' | Insp: No | HD: 5/5 | Spell DC: 13 | Spells: (4/4) | Status: Madness (Lvl 2)

"Ivory is quite valuable in the right places, so I think it's a fair enough trade seeing as none of us will find much use with a trident." Cyrus says.

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

She nods her head, "Ohhhh...okay." She simply says in her youthful voice. Pretending to struggle a little with the trident the way a normal person of her youth would, she picks it up and takes it to the man with the horn, "There ya are mister."

Female Skinwalker Barbarian 4/Champion 2; HP: 60/65; AC: 17/18 (in beast form), T: 13; FF: 14; Fort: +7, Reflex: +4, Will: +1, Init: +7, Perception: +7

I was pretty sure the man wasn't in our boat...was he? Like, they're in a boat of their own off to the side right? I was leaning over and trying to hand it to him. I wasn't really sure how far away they were.

The young looking Dwarven girl with black hair and brown eyes, tries to lean over the ship while holding onto the shiny thing to hand over to him, "A little help please?" She asks in her youthful voice.

Ruedo goes over and helps Eri.

With Ruedo's help, Eri manages to get the trident to the young man and retrieve the horn. Looking closer at the trident, the leader looks rather impressed.

"More trade?" He asked.
