Just to keep the blinded in suspense, I am putting it in a spoiler.
You got past the first one. At -4 for the second one, you did not.

Missed the grab. They both fly back to the ceiling.
The rest of the party hears a struggle and Rhen then appears at the door.

Rhen Vemsa |

"Durned things tried to garb me, one hit me with.... somethin' not sure what but it stings like hell."
Rhen then draws his new short sword, flexing his fingers on the grip.
"How do ye want ta do this?"

Zevon Vierding |

"In all honesty, I would like NOT to. I say shut the doors and leave them be. Any idea what they were?"
Zevon will heed Bulgard's idea and help to close the door, working to bar it if possible. If that is not an option I will post other actions.

Zevon Vierding |

Sweet. Done.
"This place is a hive. Let me reconnect my vocalization with each of you and move on"
Will spend 3 rounds casting message, provided we have the time.

Zevon Vierding |

"Nor do I, though I enjoy battling unseen foes even less."
Zevon moves in behind Bulgard. Seeing the open door, he whispers to his companions:
I don't like being caught in this corner. There was another door in the courtyard leading to this hallway. If two of us approach from there we can avoid the bottleneck.

Igar The Terrible |

Bulgard makes a loud noise as he kicks the door. You hear growls from inside the room that turn into howls. As he moves to the door he is meet with a flurry of fangs. The room behind remains dark.

The wolf takes 12 hp of damage and withdraws from combat, moving into the next room. When a light source arrives, you see:
This small study looks like it has been lived in recently. Gnawed bones litter the floor and tufts of gray fur can be seen here and there. An old stone desk sits in the center of the chamber, scratched and cracked in many places. The stench of wet fur hangs heavy in the air.

Rhen Vemsa |

Rhen jams a hand over the very large bit wound he took, as the wolf retreats and Zevron comes in he looks at the elf.
"Hey pointy ears, can ye give me a poke o' that healing wand ye found? My innards are about to be where they shouldn't be."

Zevon Vierding |

"A valiant maneuver my friend. You efforts were not in vain."
Zevon flicks the wand towards Rhen and hands Reinar his discarded glaive.
Wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
"Now Reinar, I know how you hate loose ends. I suggest we give pursuit."

Reinar Rolstad |

"The wolves in the north were much stronger, this looks more like a chore than a fight.", he grins, taking the glaive and walking up to the next room.

Greypelt |

Everyone is shaken for one round if we move into initiative.
Suddenly a large worg springs up from its resting place on the toppled column. It snarls and growls at you, showing its large fangs.
He raises his nose and smells the air about him. As he speaks, you hear a loud deep growling voice say....
"I smell the kobold named Gurtlekep on you. His blood as well. He meant nothing to me. I smell the murderers met the darkmantles in the sanctuary....no blood. Not so lucky there were you? Tell me murderers, why do you attack my consorts and disturb my peace? I am Greypelt. You trespass my lair."
Gaping holes in the roof allow faint light to enter this ruined chamber. One of the stone columns that once supported the ceiling is toppled, its broken pieces littering the floor. A thick patch of black mushrooms hides in a nearby corner, giving the room an earthy scent that is barely noticeable above the stench of wet fur.

Reinar Rolstad |

Reinar is shaken for a brief moment and starts trembling, thanking the darkness that his companions can't see his moment of weakness. After composing himself, his trembling turns into excitement, here is a challenge to conquer!
"You sound a bit too pacifistic for my tastes. Are you some kind of southern vegetarian wolf?"

Zevon Vierding |

Zevon voice quivers slightly as he speaks.
"I assure, we only defended ourselves. Allow me to apologize for the intrusion, but as my allies have indicated, we search for ironbloom. Our need is great, far beyond that of average mycophagists. I cannot help but notice a patch if fungus there in the corner. A brief inspection is all I ask."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

Zevon Vierding |

"There is a great plague that aflicts the people of a town near here. These are good, honest people. While I understand that this does not effect you or your pack, but my company and I must have that iron bloom to save those dear to us."

Greypelt |

"You want my prized ironbloom mushrooms for a noble cause. They are one of my favorite delicacies. I could part with them, but you must first do me a favor. The crucible could use some housekeeping. The darkmantles need to go. They can only cast darkness once per day and it only lasts a few moments. They should be easy prey now. There is a spider in the watchtower to the southeast and a few bats in the fallen portion to the northeast. I am certain your insulting jester will enjoy these tasks. Do this housework for me and I shall let you have the mushrooms. Do we have an agreement, mycophagist?"

Zevon Vierding |

"Darkmantles, bats, and a spider? I believe we have an accord, barring any dissension from my companions."
Zevon glances at the party, and gives a slight nod.

Zevon Vierding |

"Regrettably, none of us are dedicated to the healing arts. I have some minor skill, and our guide has some degree of proficiency in the care of animals. I fear, though that our lack of understanding would do more harm than good. However, I assure you that we will lend what aid we can upon our return, after having completed this 'housework.'"

Reinar Rolstad |

Reinar doesn't look happy, but he nods.
"That was only a moderate swing from my secondary weapon, your companion should live.", he turns to the group. "Lets kill those darkmantles."

Igar The Terrible |

There is still a slight problem with the darkmantles. They have +10 to stealth as they blend in with their environment like an octopus. Taking 10, they are at 20 stealth in daylight. As you move in, the first round will require a perception of 20, otherwise you will need to wait until they attack to see them. I will roll for everyone when you get there. Are you ready?

Zevon recoils as the creatures drop from their perches. He steps back into the doorway and calls out to rally his companions.
"See friends, they are at disadvantage without the cover of darkness! Strike true that we may be quit of this place!"
