That's alright, someone will grapple him in a minute then we can just pound on him all day or drown him if we need to. ***Looks at Gittik and Oso***

do you know how much of my fun you cramped with that damn ennervation spell? Sheeeeeesh! I can't even tell you either; I have so few clever ideas w.r.t. spellcasting that I have to save them for actual use!

The Harpy attacks Pip; moves to L21; misses with her club.
The sahuagin from the water near altai moves onto the sand bar to r5.
The two at u4 and t5 move to o4 and o5; one hits the wizard with a trident, and the other misses Gittik with a trident.
The one at j13 hits Beldan for 12 h.p. damage with a trident.
The two at s23 ant t24 move to L23 and the leader to j23 menacing Riese....

Attack 2 scimitar: 1 + 13 + 1 = miss
Attack 3 scimitar (Haste): 18 + 8 + 1 = 27; crit confirm roll = 18 + 8 + 1 = 27; damage = 1 + 6 + 5 frost = 12, or 20 if crit is confirmed
Attack 1 kukri: 15 + 13 + 1 = 29; damage = 3 + 4 + 5 shock = 12

The harpy's pretty narked, right? How about the fish-man Beldan stabbed?
(lol) the harpy's the third best shape of any of them. The one Bel stabbed is pretty bloodied.
The leader on Riese and the one at r5 are the best off.Gittik shreds the wizard. He falls. He was just a human, after all. Although his eyebrows looke kinda beetly.

Move to H19 before casting Scorching ray on the boss sahuagin. Ray 1 hits touch AC 17 and does 16 points of fire damage, ray 2 hits touch AC 15 and does 14 points of fire damage.
EDIT: Oso can make it to L20 or so.

Riese steps back 5'(I21) to clear some room to cast a spell before saying in Aquan to the fishman
"Imbelia furtion de'flar!!" Riese yells out while drawing energy from his spellshard. He hurls his mystic fire at the leader of the fishmen.
5d6+5=22 X 1.5=33 damage from Empowered Fiery Riese's Firebolt, DC19 reflex for half.

The harpy still fights on, though Pip's blade is covered with blood and fluffy feathering from the onslaught, and the smell of wet fowl and an internal infection is about him in a cloud of harpydander.
He landed telling blows, he did.
The sahuagin at r5 moves to o6, and Gittik meets three tridents.
Two miss, but one takes him in the chest hard, 18 h.p. in damage. He can feel blood welling up in his esophagus.
The varag hews at Elgan again, and misses.
The lesser sahuagin stabs at Pip; Pip takes 11 h.p. from the trident.
The harpy wails on Oso; her claws find no chinks in the armor, but her club slams him hard for 7 h.p.
Riese is assaulted by the head sahuagin clubber. He pummels Riese twice and hits once, for 14 h.p. in damage.
Okay, I'm done.
ROUND 5!
again; Gittik's meleeing with three sahuagins, Elgan's still duking it out with the varag, Riese has the leader on him, Pip has a sahuagin on him, and the harpy's trying to play trade-me-licks with Oso.

"Time to even tha oddssss", fish-Altai gurgles as he continues blasting the sahuagin.
No move. First, I cast another Scorching ray on the sahuagin chief. The first ray hits touch AC 17 and does 14 points of fire damage. If this drops him, the second ray goes against the harpy; if he still stands, he gets the second ray as well, which hits touch AC 21 and does 19 points of damage.
Then, as my extra action, I fire my combat wand at the sahuagin that caught the lightning bolt. Concentration check 13+13=26, attack roll 9+7=touch AC 16, damage 6+2=8 points of fire damage. Burrrrn!

As the eerie sound dies away, it is replaced by what sounds like an echo. First one, then another small object plunges into teh sand. Then with a crack of thunder, a barrage of fist-sized balls of ice batter the opposing forces.

Center it in R4 - that way it only hits the three sahuagin (and, potentially, some goblin marines). With some luck, it'll knock down the burned fish-men, leaving one for Gittik's carving knives.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but I've taken a bit of a pasting. Full attack on sahuagin - starting with the most wounded looking, and working round as they fall on to the next one:
Attack 1 scimitar: 16 + 13 + 1 (Haste) = 30; damage = 4 + 6 + 4 frost = 14
Attack 2 scimitar: 20 + 13 + 1 = 34; crit confirm roll = 17 + 8 + 1 = 26; damage = 1 + 6 + 4 = 11, or 21 if crit is confirmed
Attack 3 scimitar (Haste): 4 + 8 + 1 = 13 = unlikely
Attack 1 kukri: 12 + 13 + 1 = 26; damage = 3 + 4 + 1 shock = 8
Attack 2 kukri: 9 + 8 + 1 = 18; damage = 2 + 4 + 1 shock = 7
Bite: 18 + 13 + 1 = 32; damage = 2 + 5 = 7

All of us (except Beldan) have taken a serious pounding, but you need more healing than anyone. If you fly back to the main group, we'll be all gathered up against any furher combatants, and Oso can cast healing spells and do his fast healing trick.
Also, what do we want to do with chief Bagrom?
At this time, it strikes me that we've forgotten our Inspire Courage bonuses. The extra damage only apply to weapons, but still...
