Riese |

"Accurotni en'forcier Dri-ot!" Three missiles of force, looking like eldritch flame, materialize and slam into the captain of the flamewalker's vessel unerringly. Riese holds his position next to Tom by the wheel of our ship.
3d4 3=11 magic missile.

Beldan Vale |

Beldan moves to C7 and chucks a flask of holy water across the decks at the skelington in G7. Ranged touch attack: 7+10 = 17. Damage: 6
“Hey Altai,” yells the rogue. “You can turn me into that scraggly thing if you want – s’long as I can turn back. I feel pretty useless against these things as it is…”

Altai Iscarni |

"Oh, no worries, you can turn back. I think. One second, and I'll be right over."
That's actually a pretty good idea! Moreover, due to Beldan's personality, it's an option that never even occurred to me. ;D
Main points - the scrag's physical statline is STR 23, DEX 16, CON 23. You also get +5 natural armour and 10' reach. You may not want to use natural attacks against these guys... Also, as they are skeletons, a blunt weapon may be better.

Yeah, I don't know if Beldan would normally go in for this sort of thing, but against skeletal fiery undead he's got limited combat options to say the least!
One question, with polymorph, do weapons and armour re-size if you're changing size but otherwise remaining humanoid?
Altai Iscarni |

Your stuff changes with you unless it "can't be used by the new form" (i.e. weapons if you're turning into a giant jellyfish) - in that case, it gets absorbed by the new form and reappears once you change back into your old form.
As trolls are kinda humanoid, the scrag'll be recognisable as Beldan; it'll have a scraggly moustache and an extra-big nose.

"wot? you pissent!!!" the missiles blast three holes plum through his torso.

It doesn't quite kill him, but it jacks up his day good n' proper...

Elgan Dreadwood |

Don't forget my giant poochie-pal! I summoned him up atthe last minute, presumably right before Altai went all HASTE-y on us, so it should be there too! I'll have it attack on my next turn. It can follow the Stig-miester and the Gittik-(AKA-Quizinart) into glorius battle.
Hmmm, I just realized, a Dire Wolf, and animated bones,.... Oh he's a happy poochie!
:D

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

"I know....they make it out of halfling fat."
Wrong flaming Homer! They make it out of halfling FARTS! Here I'll give you a free sample!
Farts in Cap'm Flamebritches general direction, then strikes up a tune
"Oh there once was a terror of the Seven Seas
With his head on fire but no c0ck to squeeze
Since the cabin boy shoved glass up his bum
That circumcised the pirate right to his tum!"

Altai Iscarni |

Th capm:
"Darrr! That be not music! It's sonic dismemberment!!!"
Somebody's gotta say it, and it might as well be me: Rock'n'roll ain't noise pollution! Still, my fave AC/DC tune remains this one. Bagpipes!.

Stigwold Mæch'Hæmmær |

E10, attack the nearest enemy.
Stig two hands them with the magic warhammer. 1d20+8=17, 2d8+24=30
If cleave: 1d20+8=12, 2d8+24=33

dungeonmaster heathy |

Right, D9 on the boarding ramp. Balance check = 10 + 3 = 13. Attack the bugger at E9 - 9 + 13 = 22, damage = 3 + 3 + 1 (frost) = 7.
e9 dude got turned; I didn't update the map positions....you hit d9; he takes some damage but doesn't fall. You take 6 h.p. fire damage from hitting him...

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Pip composes another stanza for The Ballad of Cap'm Flamebritches:
"Oh the flaming pirate animated many bones
'Cept the one poor bone that he called his own
Though he gnashed and wailed and cast spells dire
His little trouser bone just wouldn't catch on fire."

dungeonmaster heathy |

Ogay.....
The two on the poop deck jump to d12, d13, on your ship, along with their capm; who is now at d14 on your ship. Stig can aoo either of the first two...
The one on the focastle at g7 attacks the beetle; not much damage there.
The ones at g11 and h11 move to f13 and g13, moving up to the poop to assumedly jump across to your ship.
On the main deck, there's fire wraiths at e8, f8, e9, f9, f10, f11, and f12; stigg could aoo the ones at e9 and f9 since they just shifted forward.
Gittik is attacked by e8 and e9; one hits for 13 in damage; his sword cuts and burns.
Stiggy is attacked by f9, f10, f11, and f12;
two hit for 14 h.p. The.....fire protection came in real handy.
Tom notices the sails are on fire; starts calling for bucketmen and climbing the ropes to see what he can do.
"Damn this armor! Oh,....sorry Riese. It really is nice....."
he looks all worried at Riese.
NEW ROUND. EVERYBODY'S ATTACK.

"Oyll have yer spleen on my plate ere the night is dawned over."

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

Pip will smack Cap'm Flamebritches with a Dispel Magic.
"Though he screamed and cried like a little git
His undead and flames didn't help him a bit
As the Regulators cut him down right quick
The pirate died as he lived: with a flaccid d1ck."

Elgan Dreadwood |

As the flaming skeletons hop onto the ship, they are greeted by a large, drooling Dire Wolf,...
Dire Wolf Attack:1d20+11=28, Bite Dmg: 1d8+10=14
Trip attempt:1d20+11=25
Even from in the air, and despite the howls as the flame scorches fur, Elgan can tell that the Dire Pooch is truly happy right now as he chews on the animated bones. With a final screech Elgan's spell is completed, the now-familiar cloud forms, and Cap'n Flamebritches' arrival is greeted with a bolt from the blue,...

The wolf trips the one at d12; his face and mouth are burned. It's like taking a bite of cheesecake, and then finding out the fork was heated over the oven until it was red hot.
The lightning jolts him hard, but he still battles on.
Pip's spell does naught...
"Arr! Yerr impotent impudence will nontheless be punished, you wee puffin!"

Pendobar 'Pip' Bushytoe |

"Arr! Yerr impotent impudence will nontheless be punished, you wee puffin!"
"The only thing impotent is twixt yer legs flamey! And the only puffin is what ye'll be doing for Davey Jones once you end up on his doorstep later!"
Launches into the final stanza:
"Well the tale of Cap'm Flamebritches is now all done
Now that the Regulators have had their fun
And the only thing folks will remember of him
Is the song I'll sing of his flaccid limb."
