Water cascades off the creatures stone body in shiny rivulets. It rises slowly from it's chair.

It's fingers extend, becoming sharp spears of crystalline rock and it's mouth gapes open, it's teeth extending into jagged points. The crystaline structures in the room begin to shift and move here and there, melting into the earth here and thrusting up in new places!

I will remove the nickle, copper and bronze from your very bodies. I will eat the very minerals of your lives!

crystal structures in the room can not be moves through. Unless you are a rock creature who believes himself to be Torag, of couse. They do provide cover. I will move crystals on the monsters' turn.

Round 1

Khayal wastes no more time with this imposter.

As Khayals blades skip across the stone of the monster before him Khayal grows more determined. He must strike harder.

I went ahead and moved Khayal next to the monster, with the assumption that he was actually closer to it in the first place, but he probably would have only been able to take one attack after moving up to it.

Bartan will move up to get a clear shot, then cast a spell and toss a card at the creature.

As Bartan weaves a spell around the card, it almost looks like it sprouts vines, which then cover in a thick sheen of frost.
"May the briars tangle and scrape you!"

Unfortunately, his card, with its added snowball spell, glances off the stony hide of the creature.

Yazi simply grumbles about "stupid rocks" as she unsheathes her sword and moves closer to the rock creature. Double Move, 60ft

Avenka moved to attack. Maybe the rocks blocked her way, It seems like they take a little more than one square? Assuming she could go there, she will attack...

Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Dhavyn takes a small step to better see the creature and gathers his power. He had been thinking new uses for his powers and now was time to put them to a test.

Taking a deep breath Dhavyn exclaims מאַגיש מיססילע. He twists his hands in intricate patterns weaving the conjured energies into two glowing orbs. Finishing the spell with a wave of hand he sends the orbs hurtling at the "god".

The orbs whiz past Anjali and then past his other allies in melee, homing into their target as if drawn by the creature's mere presence. Dhavyn grins as the sound of orbs unloading their energy fills the cave. I did it, and from a safe range too! he compliments himself.

Suck 130 ft range unerring force damage...

Hajar double moves as he draws Tempest.

Avenka, the crystals take up just 1 square. I know, they could be resized a bit.

The spirit of Vardishal anwers in your mind It's an outsider, earten, extra-planar. I have not seen one in a thousand years. They are noble creatures. These evil acts are very much out of character for such a being. Hajar's takaway is that the creatures' alignment is essentially Neutral.

Anjali moves to a place where she can channel healing on her allies if needed.

Hajar moves towards the elemental. Stop this madness! You have no quarrel with us! Your fight is with Kardswann and his Daemon Master.

Gonna be attempting disarms and taking AoO's next turn.

"Oh come on!" Throwing her hands up in the air at having her pathway cutoff she will maneuver around the crystals to try to get at the creature. Double move for 60ft again.

Dhavyn repeats the incantation from previous round both out of need, and of wish to gain more skill with it. מאַגיש מיססילע he intones and shapes the energy into a form of twin darts this time. The darts streak into the creature with same unerring accuracy, the tiny twin explosions sending pieces of crystalline flesh flying from impact.

Satisfied with their performance he barely notices the severe hit Avenka took from the creature's crystalline jaws.

"Miss Avenka, be careful!" Bartan casts chill touch, tossing a card at the creature, adding 1d6 negative energy damage to up to 2 more cards after this one.

Anjali picks her way through the crystals, intent on getting to Avenka. She reaches out to touch her friend on the arm and sends a spell of healing through the young barbarian.

Whoops. Hadassa, I forgot to move Anjali's icon. She's meant to move to that spot southeast from Avenka (marked A on the map now) in order to deliver that Cure Light Wounds by touch.

Bartan takes a five-foot step up toward the treasure (DO WANT), pulls out a scroll and casts from it, and his mouth opens in a wordless scream! casting ear-piercing scream, caster level 3 caster level check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7 <- made it

Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 5) = 10 sonic damage, Fort DC 13 save or dazed for 1 turn, half damage on successful save.

The crystals move in terrible synchronization, boxing the fight in.

With Anjali very hurt and the rock missing him twice Khayal attempts to gain its attention

It seems as if Khayal was able to get its attention and boy did that sting.

Starting to get a bit concerned when the creature still stands despite their best efforts, especially his magic, Dhavyn evokes more magic missiles. The first still holds much power but the second one flickers and wavers as it flies through the air.

Finally noticing both Khayal and Avenka carrying terrible wounds despite Anjali's healing he shouts "I can't keep this up much longer. We either need to finish this soon or withdraw - if we can!" he remarks realizing the swirling crystals may make it tough but perhaps the creature can't follow outside.

Spells remaining: 1st 3/6; Fire rays 6/6. @Yazi: you can move through ally's square without problem according to normal rules. Keep in mind you will provoke AOO in current situation for leaving a threatened square when you squeeze past ally, and probably take the penalty for sharing space which is -4 to AC. Unless it's Anjali you squeeze past. No AOO there.

Getting fed up with this rock creature Yazi will try her hardest to keep her mind on the current danger as she squeezes by the shapely healer in order to come at the elemental from the side, providing herself and Hajar with a flank.

A boiling babble rises from Anjali's lips as Khayal gets hit hard. Only Dhavyn would recognize it for the string of curse words that it is.

This time her hands reach out, sending their healing warmth into Khayal.

Anjali's touch soothes the pain caused by the crystal. Khayal recognizes the warmth of his wounds stitching back together. He presses the fight.

Avenka rages again, very aware this is the most difficult fight they had:

"Aaargh ! This creature is tough to hit !"

Will save VS sonic dazing 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12 As Bartan's spell sends it's screaching through the cavern the crystals shake. A few shatter here and there. The monster becomes dazed and stands very still.

Round 3

"A dazed creature has no penalty to AC." But doesn't make sense that CMD wouldn't be reduced for the purposes of removing the crown. So disarm VS CMD10, attempt will not provoke. Don't screw this up guys, lol

Will give the melee-people time to attempt disarms, if they all fail I'll throw a card at it and blow it off his head as a last-ditch effort LOL

Sensing opportunity for another strike Dhavyn sends another pair of energy darts hurtling at the creature. Again the first one is perfectly shaped while the other wavers and leaks energy.

Luckily both of them manage to avoid the crystals pulling ever closer to his allies, whizzing through the cracks in the formation.

Seizing this opportunity, Khayal attempts to remove the crown.

Khayal reaches for the crown but at the last second trips and falls onto the crystal.

Hajar attempts again to wrest the crown from the creature. disarm: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 He grabs the crown and hurls it behind him as far as he can!

Anjali shifts over to one side, bringing her within reach of Hajar.

In an effort to mitigate the damage from the crystalline being, she touches the paladin, mouthing the words needed to bring forth her healing.

More roiling curses pour from her as she senses that her healing isn't as strong as she had hoped.

As the crown is removed the creature's facial expression changes. The spiked teeth and claws retract and the rock being takes a step back away from you. He holds his hands up. Easy, easy friends! I wish for no more trouble!

He looks at Avenka, he does not struggle against her as she grapples him. You may release me now. I am no longer a threat to you since you have freed me!

Eosphorite waves a hand and the crystals subside into the cave. Outside you can hear the voice of the Nixie shouting for joy at having been released.

Hajar lowers Tempest and sheathes the blade. My apologies for the violence Most Noble Eosphorite. We sought the freedom of the Nixie. You were less than inclined to do such a thing in your previous state. What are your intentions now that you are free? Hajar asks.

Avenka releases Eosphorite after seeing Hajar talking to him (it?) friendly. Though she is angered a little at the creature, she admires her toughness, so she offers her hand to Eosphorite.
