Are you cool with a Jedi type? I was thinking Warlord / Swashbuckler to start.

HP: 1d10 ⇒ 9

No need to roll for HP. Also, I would ask that you limit your posts to the recruitment thread until the point where you actually have a character and are actually recruited.

So, Fraejia isn't a pilot. Her skills are more in engineering and studying astronomy to become a navigator as well. She won't be the primary person for the positions, I'm sure, but should make a solid back up for them.

Female Pitborn Bard 2

Razza is definitely no pilot, and even if she was I doubt she'd be anyone's first choice for controlling where the ship goes.

Thanks much for picking Neve Jaster. Hope to have a great game with all you guys.

Neve's class features probably make her the best bet for Navigator. Also good as a back up pilot.

Edit: I've left my bonus language as blank for now, I'm guessing some Golarian language would be the best fit right?

Can I combine and reskin the mapmaker's kit and compass as a device that's sort of a tablet that can display a hologram of star systems Mass Effect style and plug into the ship computers?

Female Forlarren Warpriest/2

So, does this make Opal Medic? I have the spell list for it, but not the funds. Maybe Security? Perceptions' pretty good for spotting nefarious tools and such.

Ludvick is most likely going to be going for the repair man, but also a bit of the talker in case of a emergency. If push comes to shove though he may have the skills to pilot the ship if the need does ever arise. I'm going to have to many skill point for my own good.
I have to ask to because this had been making me wonder for a long time. Is Fraejia's race based off the crystal gems?

As far as knowing what Fraejia is IC it should, in my mind, be nearly impossible as she is one of only a handful (human handful mind you) that has visited this universe, let alone galaxy, so her people have probably never even be hear of before.

Her race is actually based off of the espers of Final Fantasy 6 (3 US). In my own imagination as a kid I kept the story of them going a long time, to the point of them becoming capable of their own space travel. As a consequence I have a very detailed racial history for them as well as general biology and fertility rates (read almost non-existant). Fraejia is literally the youngest of her entire race at an indeterminate age (at least a few hundred years, likely more, the espers have no limit to their life span nor can they truly die).

For ease of introduction, unless anyone has any ideas how they might know Opal, she's probably also new. Least, that's how I've been thinking.

Depending on how long each of you have been on the ship. While beg enough to comfortably fit 200 (right now it has about 30), the Scythe is still small enough that if you were in it for any amount of time, you'd at least know of most anyone.

HP (12) AC (17/13/14) CMD (15) Saves (1/6/0) Initiative (+4) Panache 2/2

Ludvic would have been on the ship long enough for most to know him. Being on the move where he can conduct himself however he feels made it a very comfortable home to him.

For the curious, I was thinking Opal would cut her horns to look kind of like Darth Mauls forehead horns. He and Duel of the Fates were the best things we got from The Phantom Menace.

Doubtful that will happen.

I think Lucas intended it, he fell in love with Jar Jar, and called him his 'best character ever', primarily because Jar Jar did exactly what he wanted without actually having to deal with an actor (he absolutely was the worst director ever with regards to actually directing actors).

But Disney will *NEVER* bring him back. Ever. He was a PR nightmare.

Right? See, you get it. Watch this if you need more proof.

Not sure if Razza would be offended or flattered at Ludvic considering the language of her people "evil" unto itself.

@Ludvic - Sorry, didn't think a single hit would take him out. But it's not a natural reaction for a guard unit to see an undead and not assume it's hostile without input. :(

It's no worries. Yeah sadly he has only 4 hit points as a skeleton. It's like I said in my post it is a natural reaction by some one

Sorry, Fraeija. Opal has this thing about self-control. Notably, how unreasonably hard it is for her.

Woops, I was under the impression Fraejia was watching that on a large enough screen that everyone could see what was going on.

One of Tik'Kliks 3 languages should probably be Infernal, given his crate was written in it, and his accompanying letter (which nobody could read). :)

I picked infernal originally because there were tieflings in the crew, and I thought it would look ominous. I didn't know the GM would have an infernal tablet on the ship. :)

Not that it does much good, Tik"klik can't tell the crew what it says at the moment. If there's something on it that might change Tik'Klik's behavour though, might be good to know it ahead of time.

Female Pitborn Bard 2

Pitborn are specifically demon-based tieflings; you only get one of Abyssal and Infernal as a starting language, not both, so for the Pitborn it's Abyssal.

Presumably there would be a similar race from another planet that's based on devil-spawn tieflings but that is of course up to the GM to expand upon.

?

Understood. I've studied each tiefling race thoroughly, as they're my favorite playable race. I've played about half of them, including pitborn. I just thought Mercer wouldn't know the difference :)

female Esper Shield Device 3/3 thp regen 1 thp per minute | 1 con damage esper kineticist 3 | HP 22/33 (19/30) (n/l 0) | AC 17, FF 13, Touch 14 | F +5 (4), R + 5, W -2 | CMB +2 (+5); CMD 15 | Init +3 | Per +4 (Darkvision 60 ft) |

I love tieflings, especially the variants. Mostly I do pitborn because I like my charisma boost, always thought it was dumb that they got a penalty to charisma when it shouldn't be that simple. The issue is a social stigma more than appearance and is completely non-existant in some cultures. I've got a rakshasa kin tiefling in a skulls and shackles game, she things the entire crew are her minions even though she's a junior crew member.

Dirty Commoner/2 || HP: 0/0, AC: 10 (10, active buff) (FF: 10 [10 w/active buff] T: 10) || Init: +0, Fort: +0 Ref: +0 Will: +0 || Per: +0

I think the penalty also comes from the inherent nature of fiendish forces in tiefling blood. It's noted that they either work to overcome a desire to destroy, or give into it. So I guess part of the penalty is how difficult it is to talk to people in a normal fashion? Then the wheel of bloodlines came out, and made that a bad example.

Female Forlarren Warpriest/2

When you say, "Doesn't seem like our resident wisdom caster has it though" do you mean sense motive? Or Bluff?
