From the moment she was introduced to the concept, Razza had always wanted to be a pirate. The privateers of Abizyr are heroic figures to the Pitborn, and so Razza grew up absorbing as much information about them as she possibly could. By the time she was fifteen she already knew the names of all of the most famous of Abizyr's pirates. Her favorite story was the one of Alphine Tesserax, known by her enemies (and affectionately by her fellow Pitborn) as the Queen B+@*! of the North Star, who to this day pilots a massive human ship stolen from an admiral... alongside his wife, who joined her side during the theft.
Razza finally got her chance to get in on the action at the tender age of eighteen, when she was recruited into a crew looking for some fresh blood. Razza's eagerness was not tempered by the menial chores given to her as the newest and youngest member of the crew, as she relished the opportunity to hear outlandish tales of daring exploits firsthand from the people that performed them, knowing that someday soon she would have her own stories to tell.
In time, Razza proved herself to be an effective combatant and was invited on more and more raids. Her crew gained a small degree of infamy from their exploits, and Razza was having the time of her life. This came to an abrupt halt on one fateful day, when an ambush went unexpectedly sour; apparently, the galactic police had been tipped off on who their target was and was waiting for them to show up. A lot of good Pitborn died that day, and despite Razza's best efforts to join them in a violent final gasp she was subdued and cuffed.
To Razza's surprise she only spent a few months in prison. A guard approached her cell one day, clearly intimidated by her despite the Pitborn being bound and muzzled, and announced that she was to spend the rest of her sentence in servitude. Once satisfied that Razza was not going to immediately burst out of her bonds and rip his throat out, the guard pushed her along towards her new owner.
Criminals being taken in as servants was not a novel concept, but Razza did chuckle at how ballsy one would have to be to select a Pitborn pirate for something like that. The identity of her anonymous benefactor was at best at the back of her mind though; now that she knew she would be more or less free to move, Razza's priorities were finding out who had screwed her and her crew and if her captain had survived the raid. If her new owner was going to hold her back from that, then well, they would find out very quickly why nobody takes Pitborn slaves.
Should be about done, I think. I know the specific history of the Trap Finder trait isn't on flavor for Razza's character, but the ability to disable magical traps is since she is a fairly Roguey Bard. If you're not satisfied with that I'll swap it out with something else. Let me know if there is anything else you have questions on, of course.
