GM Goblin King |
It's a mess, but I'll try. Bucko and Nao are at the treeline, casting and shooting. It's 50' from there to the building, which is 100' wide.
There's a 20' entrance in the center. The giant and 9 boggards are mixing it up with Klepy, Tark, and Velag. The boggards can hop, so they can pretty much maximize their positions to attack them, and have them more or less surrounded.
There are 4 archers at either corner who are firing on the 2 of you. A sleet storm in the middle could trip up your allies, but at either end, just the archers.

GM Goblin King |
OK. Tark hit giant boy hard.
Velag had killed one, Klepy flanked with Velag and killed another. He can now flank with Tark on the giant next round, if the giant stays engaged with Tark.
Bucko sleet storms the 4 to his right, and 2 will fall, while the other 2 are at half move.
Nao hits one of those slowed archers twice, and kills him.
The giant is sick of Tark, and power attacks him hard, confirming a critical hit for 31 damage.
Klepy went, so the boggards go. 5 fire arrows at Bucko and Nao. One confirms a crit on Bucko for 15 damage.
The ones meleeing with our heroes move in to attack. Velag takes 8 damage, while Klepy gets whacked for 9.
Tark gets hit twice again for only 12 damage. That's 43 total this round. Yipes!
Next round, Velag can make an acrobatics check to flank the giant with Klepy.
There are still 14 boggards alive, and the giant could eat it this round, if Velag can survive 3 AOs and flank Klepy.
Round 3!

Velag Wordeater |

Velag switches his judgement back to Resiliency (DR:2/magic), and jabs one of the Boggards who's been attacking Tark (gaining the flank), while trying to figure out if the giant has any weaknesses while fighting. Creature Lore: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
He also wills a Copycat of himself to try to avoid further damage...

Sorry, but Acrobatics ain't a class skill, Velag's no tumbler.. Besides, I would think Klepy can 5' to get the flank from Tark?

Tark Bashflat |

"AAAAAARRRRRRRGGGG!", Tark shouts as he receives the giant's blow.
Tark then attempts to return the favor.

Velag almost kills his opponent. Almost.
Tark pounds on the giant, but it's biiiiig, and can take a beating.
Nao, seeing Tark's predicament, fires twice and hits the giant. She doesn't kill it, though. It looks so battered, a strong wind could knock it down, but it won't give up the fight just yet.
Bucko, then the giant. Klepy will be able to flank Tark, if he's still there.

Bucko Rackingclaw |

Bucko thinks the giant should be all his to kill....
instead he fires on a boggard archer.
Crossbow, light
Attack 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Damage 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Hey four more rounds of sleet!

GM Goblin King |
The giant slams Tark twice for 25 damage, knocking him into the negs and leaving Klepy without a flank.
The sleet continues unabated. The one archer still standing draws an arrow.

Klepy |

Klepy is looking for a flank.
If he finds one within a 5 foot, he'll take it.
Attack 1:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 For:1d3 + 3d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + (5, 4, 5) + 1 = 18
Attack 2:1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13 For:1d3 + 3d6 ⇒ (3) + (5, 3, 6) = 17
If no flank can be found, Klepy will attempt to retreat to a safe distance in the brush.
Withdraw action, provokes no AoO.

GM Goblin King |
Klepy can 5' and flank with Velag. He takes out another boggard. This puts him next to the last of the armored boggards.
It begins to cast a spell, and reaches out to touch Klepy. Klepy gets an AO to try to disrupt the caster's concentration.
Nao and Bucko are each hit with an arrow. Bucko takes 5 damage.
Velag and Klepy find themselves swarmed by the boggards, surrounded on almost all sides. Velag's copycat ability serves him well, and he is only hit once for 7 damage. Klepy is plagued by 4 boggards. One confirms a crit and does 18 damage to the rogue.
One of the boggards charges up to Nao, but misses his swing. She won't be firing her bow this round.
Kill the giant! she shouts, and reaches for her sword.

Velag Wordeater |

Is that 7 after DR:/2? I put it down as if the DR didn't apply, but if it did, Velag's got +2 hp
Velag snarls at the still-living object of his stabbing from last time, "Stoopid froggie. You dead, why not fall down?"
He brings up his magical shortsword and drives it into the thing.
Right Hand: 1d20 + 10 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 10 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 18(TWF, DF, Flanking} for 1d4 + 2 + 2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 2 + (1) = 6 {DF, Precise}
As it clutches the wound and starts to fall, Velag (5') steps into the Giant, carefully, bringing his flaming blade up to strike the massive thing, while mentally shifting his judgement again {to Healing: Fast Heal 2), and giving himself a new copycat.
Left Hand: 1d20 + 10 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 10 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 26 {TWF, DF, Flanking} for 1d4 + 1 + 2 + 1d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 + (5) + (3) = 14 {DF, Flaming, Precise}

GM Goblin King |
Yes, I forgot about the DR, so add 2.
Velag can't get in a position to flank, but he skewers a boggard, then steps in and slays the giant in a brilliant 2-weapon flourish.
The fish-headed beast falls with a loud thud, as the remaining boggards look on in fear.

Klepy |

Klepy shouts, in Boggard :) "We mighty licktoads of doom Efesti skwad! We kill many of you froggies! We kill many mighty hummies! Powerful mages, scary monsters, an now giantz! We are mighty! We are efesti! We our licktoads! Now we destroy all froggies!"
All this is said in Boggard. I took the language when we last leveled. Klepy has been studying it for some time now.

GM Goblin King |
Nao attacks, but doesn't kill the boggard on her.
The 3 boggards still in the sleet storm all failed to get up or stay up.
Klepy still gets an AO from last round on the armored boggard, and can move to flank another boggard with Velag, but not the armored one. It's up against the doors.

Klepy |

"grrr. Not so easy to scare froggies. Me lets Lil Sticky do da talkins hehe"

INITIATIVE:
Velag
Nao
Bucko
Klepy
Boggards
Klepy offs another injured boggard. There are 13 left.
Klepy must make a DC 13 will save, due to a spell from the armored boggard he is no longer adjacent to. He is, in fact, surrounded by 5 other boggards.
The archers not affected by the sleet storm spell have dropped their bows and charged in to dispatch the 3 remaining goblins.
2 of the boggards emit a terrifying croak. All 3 of you must make 2 separate DC 13 will saves or be shaken. The others attack, and 1 of them hits Klepy for 9 damage. Velag is not hit.
Next Round:
Nao kills her boggard (12 left), and runs to defend Tark and Bucko from the 3 boggards that have arrived around Tark's almost-dead body.
Velag is first, though, and can flank Klepy, or risk a single AO to join Nao and Bucko while he tries to rouse Tark. Velag won't get a flank that way, but he and Nao can, next round.
2 will saves each, and Klepy needs to make 1 @ DC 13, then 2 at 14. Nao is unaffected.

GM Goblin King |
If you fail the 1st save, you're shaken for 2 rounds. If you fail the 2nd, it's 3 rounds. Both? Still 3 rounds.
A shaken character takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls, saving throws, skill checks, and ability checks.
Klepy still has a 3rd save to make, too.

Velag Wordeater |

Will Save #1: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Will Save #2: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 ... Seriously? A 1? Stupid dicebot!
Just so I'm clear - Velag can stay near Klepy and try to kill the armoured spellcasting Boggie or run to Tark's side to try to stop a coup de gras? And I'm otherwise somewhat too swarmed to consider spellcasting?

GM Goblin King |
Right. The armored one has moved off, and you have a boggard, Klepy, and another boggard between you and it. You can flank Klepy and probably kill one, or bolt past 2 others to help Nao fend off the 3 who moved toward her.
Casting a spell or trying to get to Tark will get you 2 AOs, not 1. The safest move would be attacking the flanked one at -2.

Bucko Rackingclaw |

Bucko is relying on miserable pity to allow him to get un-attacked to Tark....
Once there....by flying....
healing hex on Tark
2d8 + 5 ⇒ (8, 1) + 5 = 14
and uncaps a potion of enlarge person also....

GM Goblin King |
I thought Tark got hexed today? Or was that a spell? Klepy is shaken, but not stirred.

Velag Wordeater |

Velag, seeing Bucko arriving to help Tark, will start fighting his way over to the armoured boggie, cutting down the boggards between him and it.
"Velag come for you!" he says, cackling madly.

Velag kills another one. He can get to Klepy and help him attack the next one, but there's no way to flank it ATM. He can also reach the armored boggard and attack.
Nao whiffs.
2 boggards ignore Bucko, concentrating on Nao. The one that doesn't is on the other side of Tark, so Bucko can help him. I believe he already used a hex on Tark after the harpy incident.

Bucko Rackingclaw |

Bucko instead puts troll styptic on Tark giving him fast healing 2

It hurts like heck, so requires a DC 15 fort save or be sickened...for the duration of the healing

Tark would thank you if he could. CLW potion should heal 1d8 +1, so I'll also add the +1 since it looks like Tark is going to need every HP he can get. Also, don't forget that there is a CLW wand dangling off his belt.

Nao gets hit once. Everybody else gets missed!
Another boggard is between Velag and Tark, now. As they crowd in on Velag and Klepy, another one can be flanked if Velag takes a 5'.
Bucko can help Tark with no trouble. The 3 boggards are attacking Nao at the moment.
The sleet stormed boggards all failed to get up. My dice seem to have cooled off after those crits!
Nao could use some help.

Velag Wordeater |

Velag raises his flaming blade to point at the armoured boggard, laughing, and saying (in Common), "That one more. Soon you be out of froggies, and then Velag kill you."
He takes a (5') step and chops up another Boggard.

Klepy |

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!
Klepy uses his ready action to tumble out to a clear spot then on his turn he looks desperately for a flank or charge opportunity.
I swear if you call me overpowered again Imma gonna come through the internet a beat you with a stick. I am no use without my sneak."
If neither option is present Klepy wil bolt for the bushes and attempt to hide, On his next turn he will pull out his crossbow. No flanking, that will be far more effective.

GM Goblin King |
Velag calls his mount, and it comes rushing out of the cover.
Bucko manages one use of the stick. Tark's still below 0, I think.
Klepy can tumble 15' and flank Nao on one of the boggards she's fighting.

Velag has 2, Klepy has 2, and Nao has 2.
Velag is hit once for 7, Nao for 8.
