GM Bone Man |

Carena, Raph, Sloog begin their night time adventure
support the deck above this spacious hold. At night,
the Wormwood’s common pirates tie their hammocks
between the walls and pillars and sleep until dawn. Two
of Mr. Plugg’s toadies, Kipper and Patch Patchsalt, have
claimed the far forward section of the hold as their own,
and their hammocks are strung between the foremast
and the stairs leading up to the middle hold (area A6).
A trap door just behind the mainmast opens onto the
bilges below (area A11), and requires a DC 10 Strength
check to lift.

Gnaly |

"Listen guys. I got me holy symbol back but it was signed out by Master Scourge. It's going to take gold or thievery to get the rest of our things back! Those meanies!" Gnaly says.
The priest, now armed with her holy symbol, moves with the others to explore the boat.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Gnaly will try to lift the trapdoor if no one else tries.
Lift: 1d20 ⇒ 13

Sloog |

Sloog shakes his head at the trapdoor to the bilge. Instead, he points towards the stairs towards the upper deck... and that's where he heads. Ive got stealth rolls above but can reroll if you like. Usually if someone is actually asleep it's a big penalty to their perception check.

Carina nods at Sloog and follows him, gesturing for Gnaly and the others to follow.
Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (18) + 16 = 34
God, I love goblins so much. Closest thing to invisibility at first level. +15 to anything at first level is absolutely ridiculous.
By far my favorite race ever.
EDIT: Make that +16, forgot I'm not wearing my armor right now.

GM Bone Man |

Ganly moves to the trap door and opens it, the door creeks loudly she stops looking around to see if anyone was sired by the noise...her heart pound hard as she holds her breath but there is no reaction. So she opens the door wide slowly, peering inside....
Carena, Raph, Sloog continue their night time adventure ...the group moves slowly around to the ship not interested in the bilge as Ganly is they try to head up to the middle deck. Steping with caution so not to awaken the sleeping crew. They stop as Ganly practically shoots a gun off with that short loud noise she make lifting the trap door. Lucky no one but the four of them seem to hear the sound. So they continue to move up the stairs. Slowly the move each step making a soft creak as they move on the steps...once at the top of the stairs.
you looked into its eyes!!!: 2d20 ⇒ (11, 1) = 12
let me get a new roll for Carena, Raph, Sloog and go from there

Raph |

Raph feels that, while a battle with a bugbear might be fun, and certainly would be good exercise, he's pretty sure enough noise would be made to wake the crew (and that's not a battle he feels confident about). Deciding that discretion is the better part of valor, he quietly makes his way back the way they came. After all, knowledge has been gained, and there's no reason to rush to a watery grave.
Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Perhaps Gadoongo will be able to draw more crew members. Mutiny works best when one is surrounded by allies.

Gadoongo Heineous |

Since this is night time actions, I'm assuming by this time the big fat guy is either drinking his ass out with the other "friends" he already made, or already sleeping like a drunk pig. :)

Gnaly |

Gnaly tries to use her darkvision to see if there's anything in there. Cobwebs mean spiders, and she just wants to ensure that there's no giant spiders there.
Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
She doesn't dare step in and moves back to her hammock. She'll inform the others in the morning about what's down there.

GM Bone Man |

peers into the blackness that is the bilge but fearing to move further into the unknown darkness she sees nothing else...
Carena, Raph, Sloog continue their night time adventure ...Sloog leads the way up the stairs he stumbles when he sees that scary white bugbear the ship creaks loudly in the quiet on the night. It draws the attention of the white monster and he locks eyes with Sloog, Carena and Rahp wait on the stairs behind Sloog hoping they were not noticed as well. "hmm, What ye' doing up aint ye' part of the day hands get back to sleep less i need to let old Scruge know about this eh." he lets his warning stay in the air for a moment the looks grimly at Sloog "Or will I be having to get up and put ye' back the hard way..." the bugbears' speaks menacingly

Sloog |

Sloog eyes the shaggy white beast. There is one truth every gobbo knows: bigger wins until you can stab it in the back. The hob was much bigger. And the crew bigger still. But if the others hadn't been noticed...
In Goblin he replies, "I, um...had to, uh... right, back to bed. G'night master hob. Dint mean any trouble."
He turns around and heads back below deck, making no comment or eye contact with the others.
Damn damn. Good luck!

Carina's eyes narrow at the bugbear. "Tell you what-you tell Scourge and you wake up without a hand in the morning. Put up a fight now, I take both hands. Go back to bed and leave us alone, big guy."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20

Scruug |

As Sloog Walks past Scruug's hammock to get to his own bed, Scruug topples on top of Sloog. Grasping the sneaky beaky in an unconscious hug.
"Mhmm, Hug pretty Gobo."

GM Bone Man |

sorry last few days ive had no Internet or phone and my workplace blocks paizo...anyhow
The big gets up cracking his neck he grins "well then theres always the new one who thinks they can take me old bear on, but i cant have ye' thinking youll be able to make threats and have that go unanswered. Well best way to stop attitude is to break a few bones, oh and dont worry ya still be able to work once this is done...." he flexes making his corded knots of mussels harden as he takes a fighing stance growling angrily...

Sloog |

Scrugg's attempt to force Sloog into a hug fails miserably, the awake goblin easily sidestepping the unconscious one's grasp. Sloog kicks the other gobbo (gently) and mutters, "Shush, you. Pretty one up deck, need you to hug someone else."
With that, Sloog shrugs and heads back to his hammock...sort of. He also tries to keep an ear to the happenings behind him and see if there is an opportunity for other explorations.

Carina looks around for anything she can use as an improvised shiv-a piece of wood, a long nail, anything. She grabs whatever's closest to her.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Oh boy

GM Bone Man |

Carina is not intimidated by the low growl the bugbare sends her way. As he move closer balling his fist, she feels fear wash over her. Crarina looks around in a panic trying to find anything to defend herself with but the bugbear closed the distance to her to fast and she stands defenceless...
The white bugbear punches at her with his brass knuckles...

DAMN! Message board ate my post!!! Let's try this again
Although he is not sure that he has been seen, the attack on Carina spurs Raph to move. He slides between the bear's legs to move into a flanking position with Carina.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25
Not wanting to hurt someone who's really only doing their job, and seems to be a worthy opponent, he goes in for a pressure point strike to the back of the bear's leg. (nonlethal damage, stunning fist)
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 nonlethal
he has to make a fortitude save DC14 or be stunned

GM Bone Man |

Raph takes a chance moving passed carina and sliding between the bugbears legs. He uses his masters training and stikes a nerve cluster attempting to stun the brute...
fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
His stike hits the mark and the bugbear grunts in pain and is realling from the attack

top of round two active effects
Bugbear:stunned and flanked
Players none
Carina up...
-Posted with Wayfinder

Carina Greasefire |

Sadly, you can't coup de grace a stunned opponent without the feat Dastardly Finish. Which I think I'm actually going to get. I do get sneak attack against him now that he's stunned though.
Also Raph-thank you SO much for moving to flank. Honestly, I currently play 3 characters who can sneak attack and I can count on one hand the amount of times a teammate has helped me flank. So thanks for that!
Carina sighs. There's nothing around in the area to use. "Guess I gotta beat you up barehanded. Will have to come back later to cut off your hand."
She punches at the bugbear.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Nonlethal Damage: 1d2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + (1) = 2

Raph |

unless he has something special, he should get no action, so I'll go ahead and roll mine. @Carina, no problem, all about the flank
"There is no need to maim a worthy opponent, Carina," Raph chides.
He spins and kicks the bugbear in the back of the knee.flurry of blows
Spin kick: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 nonlethal
confirm?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Booyah! Crit Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 nonlethal
"Even the mighty mountain must bend to the waves. That's what my master use to say. Or something to that effect." He shrugs and punches the bear in the back of the head.
Punch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 nonlethal
not sure if that beats his AC or glances off his skull

Carina Greasefire |

Carina grins at Raph as the two of them take turns slugging the bugbear in the head. "But it's not about bending to waves or anything, it's about sending a message to the others. And to this guy. We'll see, chances are I'll forget about it once we get our stuff back. Really just kind of mad at him for delaying us...want my knives back."
She punches the bugbear again.
Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Nonlethal Damage: 1d2 + 1d6 ⇒ (1) + (4) = 5

GM Bone Man |

well with the size difference you guys are really attacking his groin and legs lol...and carina's last action will have to redone as the combat status has changed
the bugbear is surprised as the second goblins attack hurt so badly he could not move he shakes his head. Just as felling returns the bugbear gets hit hard twice by the small lithe goblin. In shock he is be the female, now with his sense back hes smart enough to know what a bad position is....
acro: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
He jumps over raph's small frame and moves away from there attacks 15ft and draws his blade "Right ye' hateful two i was going to let the girl go with just a few bruises teach her what pain some words can bring. Then ye' jump in and try to bind side me, well ill show ye' what for happens with new hands when they attack a fellow crew mate. HAVE AT YOU!!! the bears battle cry is deafening in the other wise silent ship
why don't you heed to my warnings: 10d10 ⇒ (5, 2, 9, 8, 9, 7, 7, 7, 3, 2) = 59
top of round 3
carina-up last action has been nullified currently 20 ft away form old bear
old bear- 15ft way with cutlass drawn
raph=currently 15ft away from old bear

Raph |

Raph looks at Carina and shakes his head. "Sister, I do not believe this fight makes sense. We should have this man as our ally, not our foe. I wish no more to hurt him than he wishes to tell how two small goblins have broken his composure. Nor do I wish to swim to shore."
He turns to the bugbear. "Hold, Old Bear. This is a... misunderstanding. I sought only to protect my friend; she merely misses her daggers. I wish you no harm. We have done you no permanent damage, though we could have. You are correct. We ARE crew mates, for better or worse. I wish to apologize, sincerely, and offer instead my services. I will defend whatever you designate with the tenacity I have demonstrated here. Or choose another task you would have of me to work off my offense, but pray, stay your blade."
I'm not sure this is a fight we can win, so I'm hoping just to talk him down, but barring that, readying an attack should he come at me

GM Bone Man |

ooh nice attempt, its not often i see a players try to deescalate a fight cool. Im going to need a deplo roll though add +2 for that well thought statement ^_^

He turns to Carina. "Very well. Come, sister. It has been a long night."
As soon as they are out of the room, Raph tells Carina, "We will get your knives back. And we won't even have to fight for them. Do not worry."
