Set in Lastwall starting out in small hamlet of southwatch sout of Castle Everstand.
Winter Witch 3
I'll have to ponder my next action(s)
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
Just my opinion --
I'd say get Jondar operational first if you can. Then he can heal the party and you can chase the orc. Failing that stabilize Karthan. You'll probably want friends. If the orc was going to kill Chardak right away, he'd be dead already.
Winter Witch 3
Jondar is already stable.
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
Stable, yes. But can you cure him back to positive HP ? I thought I saw you throw out a cure light wounds earlier.
Nope. Just went back and looked at your posts. No cure light wounds there. Forget I spoke on the Jondar issue. Sorry.
Winter Witch 3
I only had ONE cure light wound prepared
and used it on Jondar.
Male Human Cleric/1
Yep but unfortunately it was enough to bring me to positive hp. I think I'm at -1 hp currently. Wish I had bought a CLW potion. :(

Hmm Symas still here and want to make a new character?
Your Humble Narrator
I think I would prefer for Nesteruk to have been slain by that last falchion blow, as I really, really, really want to play a Lore Warden.

AZ, make your choice in character. You'll get no flak from me if Chardak dies. Sometimes you've got to make tough choices. Chardak could have tried to save Symas, but I felt that would have left more of the party too exposed.
AK, interesting archetype. I like fighters with skills. Though losing all that armor and shield proficiency for 2 skills per level seems kind of a steep price when compared to the "war-college trained" feat. (I can't remember the real name of the feat and always thought it was a little too good.)
I'm still here. Do you have any ideas on how to insert a new character?

Its the CMB and CMD bonuses that really excite me, fighting smart rather than the endless 'bruiser' builds of power attack etc.

Have faith, Pharasma is with us. :)
gm 3
Hmm new private messing system introduced is there anyway you anyway anoyne in here wants to use this?
Cookie Jar Pilferer 9 ; Dimensional Explorer 4
Haven't heard about it. Link?

Would creating generic orc aliases be helpful for people?
Your Humble Narrator
Nah, I don't mind.
GN, assuming someone makes it out and the game continues- could I re-roll a Lore Warden archetype Fighter? Link is a few posts above.
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
Anna rocks! Though she still has to babysit us all night until we can heal naturally.

I think a lore warden will be fine and you will start with xp but please do it after the party divdies any loot and then calculate Nesteruks total gold and you have that much to spend.
Will do. I'll start working on him now.
Male Human Cleric/1
Does anyone have a potion of CLW that Anna could use on me to get me up and I can heal the party?
Male Orc Expert 5
Nope. Becuase i thought masterwork weapons would be a better investment.
So now im a valuable partial corpse.
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
No. That's a pretty pricey accessory at first level. It's usually one of my first purchases once I get some real cash.
HP 12/17, AC- 15 T- 11 FF- 14 CMD 16 F +7, R +5, W +4, P +8, In +1, AOO +6 Half-Orc Alchemist 2
Nope, no CLW on Nesteruk.
Replacement character is partially statted out, just need how much wealth he will start with from DM.
gm 3
I don't think I ever had a potion of cure light wounds on a first level character.
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
Sure. Once I get 400 or 500 gp total wealth, 50 gp for insurance like a potion of CLW, seems cheap. Chardak doesn't seem like the kind to take out insurance though, so I may not do it in this game.
gm 3
Hmm Karthan has caltrops on him.
*Waits for everything to pan out*

Just as a note of the rules. The party member need attention otherwise they would be recovering withuot help in the combat chapter of the core rulebook. Although that does have a small problem that makes little sense that you can recover and become concious again from lethal damage and disabled but not from nonlethal damage. I think you should get a check to become disabled from nonlethal damage after healing the one point of nonlethal damage. Still need a con check but no hit point loss.
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
We've got a whole night for Anna to play Florence Nightingale and night watchman, and ... everything really. Fortunately she can use Karthan's horse to drag Chardak and his gear out of the cave.
Maybe Symas' and ALex' new characters could show up to help?
gm 3
this may seem silly but I think I will allow disabled characters to crawl at 5 feet every three rounds since they only can take a standard actioin and move at half speed anyway and crawling is normally a full round actoin so one third speed to move as a move action. I really think starting to die when crawling when disabled is something the rules do poorly. This does open up some interesting heroic opportunities of crawling back half alive under cover of darkness seems awesome.
I realize this is a corner case.
Male Human Cleric/1
Is Jondar considered disabled?
gm 3
no he is unconcious but stable. After an hour of recovering with help you can make a constituoin check with your negative hit points as a penalty to become disabled and wake up if recovering with help.

Anna looking over your character sheet it says skill focus knowledge plains but takes the bonus from skill focus in your modifier for the heal skill which one is correct?

It seemed a good death and I really want to play a Lore Warden.
If he's got good stuff and Chardak wakes up first I can help with that.
:-)

Although if you want a new character a background will help me plan on how to integrate it.
Human Jack of All trades
- Jondar Millner
- Karthan Sternmason
- Chardak Bonereaper
- Nesteruk of Vigil
- Informant
Theres the list in order

I am unsure how far to move the timeline ahead or if the players want to do something other than rest and let wounds heal so some responses will be helpful.
Male Half-Orc Inquisitor of Gorum 2
Cower while we heal up and hope the orcs don't find us. I mean boldly stay here near the cave's mouth and defy the orcs to move us from this place.
Winter Witch 3
I'll be casting my limit of two cure lights the next day.
Unless Jondar uses his channel energy to heal everyone to top shape.
