Hide armor seems inferior in every way to llamelar leather armor in ultimate combat. Although you will be at its max dex bonus. 45 gp more for 10 feet move move speed seems like an obvious choice. Also there is a trade route to tian Xia through the hold of belkzen. Also faster moving person that can track means the whole party moves faster.

Guys I have handed in my notice to GN_Wu i'm afraid- having to cut back on PbP's as i'm struggling for time far, far more than anticipated. Its been a pleasure to game with you all and assuming GM is willing, you may see a return of Nesteruk once my intense degree is finished next year.

I'm kind of discouraged. It seems like we're burning through players. We've apparently had 6 players come and go, and just three of us look to be sticking with it. I'd almost rather press on with just the three of us.

Since he hasn't done anything yet, I can rewrite Maoldrurra to a more martial class.

Whether or not we recruit, I suggest that GM_wu solicit some long term goals for the characters so that he can shape the campaign in a manner that will hold the player's interest. So that the player's have something to look forward to down the line.

For instance, Maoldrurra, as an eagle shaman druid would be interested in visiting a rumored roc nesting ground in the mountains NW of Lastwall. Obviously a task that wouldn't be accomplished right away, and would probably be suicidal at our current level.

A more marital version of Maoldrurra might want to win a hold for himself.

If we do continue with 3 then I approve of this idea. I'll come up with some goals for Pip.

Pip, being truly chaotic by nature, has no real long term goals. She is a ward of the wind. All she knows is the wind led her to this party, so this party is where she will stay until the winds say otherwise.

Maoldrurra's goals are pretty much as stated above. Being neutral good, he'll always be up for helping the common folks. Ultimately he'd like to win a command or freehold.

I will get a new fighter build for him up tonight or tomorrow.

Maoldrurra redesigned as a fighter. I'm doing a lot of stuff differently from what I'd normally do. Pole arm user that could hopefully delay two or three incoming threats for a round so that Pip and Anna can hose them magically. Some back up ranged attack capability.

I still have to do some buying and pick a second trait, but the basics are there. Let me know what you think.

You could take the eternal grudge alternative racial trait to help against orcs which being in lastwall will be important. +1 to hit. It replaces elf magic which doesn't do anything for a fighter.

I couldn't find a trait for know(nobility) that does the standard skill boost of "+1 and it's a class skill." Is it cool to make it up?

That makes sense it is not even the most powerful skill anyway.

Just a note on supply and demand and when that actually got named was in the early 1900's by Alfred Marshall. That could get a little anachronistic but things up to 1700's or early 1800's I think will not. Although I don't expect most players to know this.
