Lershoth Sholme |

In Orcish:
I see, that is most curious. As for leaving, wouldn't you prefer to stay here for a while and rest? I have more questions and I don't think you are really in the position to be threatening as it is. Lershoth points in Polmar's direction to emphasize that fact.

Polmar Finn |

I can't abide bullies, orc. If you want help... We can maybe form a partnership against these Dragonborn.
Pillar shouts in a huff.

Talirin |

Team A as you get back to the city you notice no one is around and the orc bodies have been moved. As you look around a bit you do come across Nephele, you can see her just outside the city looking at the area around her.
There is nature girl over there. Maybe she knows where everyone is?
Tal bounds over to her at the last second leaping over her to land facing the women.
How goes it Neph? Where is everyone? as he flashes her his best toothy smile.
Just because the lizard man seems powerful I am not sure why we would be interested in allying with Orc scum against someone who is more powerful than they :].

Jalel "Quip" Medin |

Jalel watched the strange Dragon creature go from his hiding spot. His initial rush of magic left him as his skin became normal again.
"Curious. So strong, I wonder what it wanted?" At seeing the others reveal themselves to the Orc Jalel wandered up as the conversation seemed to be coming to a halt and the Orc was leaving.
Jalel stood for a moment watching him go, then made a choice. Without consulting the others he jogged after the Orc until he was in easy talking distance, and cast a spell on the Orc.
Casting Charm Person, Dc. 18 at the moment.

Jalel "Quip" Medin |

Jalel looked at the Orc with a look of earnest concern. "You say you're going back to your mountain. But that is also where the scaled fellow is going. Perhaps it would be more prudent to hurry along and enter from a different area and see what he does when he reaches your clan, rather than simply return to face... judgement?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
Waah waah.

![]() |

Rose heads towards the cave and notices the free Orc. She quickly ducks into the high grass and listens. Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16

Nephele Araceli |

Nephele looks around and spots the friendly face of Talirin. "Oh hi", she remarks, caught a little bit my surprise at the distance the swashbuckler covered in a short time. "I was really just doing some poking around, here, if memory serves me correctly, there is a river in that forest in the east, although I'm unaware if the water is has would be healthy or not after the fog".

![]() |

Rose draws her blade and carefully maneuvers behind the Orc. Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23

Talirin |

Nephele looks around and spots the friendly face of Talirin. "Oh hi", she remarks, caught a little bit my surprise at the distance the swashbuckler covered in a short time. "I was really just doing some poking around, here, if memory serves me correctly, there is a river in that forest in the east, although I'm unaware if the water is has would be healthy or not after the fog".
Perhaps we should stay close for the moment. It seems there are plenty of dangers around and wandering around by yourself...well I wouldn't want a group of Orcs suddenly finding you.
I think after we gather the food we found we will be doing plenty of exploring.Where did Rose wander off too???

![]() |

But not me? if I strike now do I get Sneak Attack?

![]() |

I'm acually going to study him for three rounds so I can make a death attack instead.
stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (6) + 11 = 17
stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30

Lershoth Sholme |

Spellcraft on Charm Person: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
No idea.
You sure do have a weight with words Jalel. Lershoth studies the Orc and Jalel back and forth trying to figure out why the Orc is acting much friendlier all of a sudden but can't figure it out. Clearly some magic happened but what he has no idea.
Lershoth also keeps Palmor up to date on what the Orc is saying and what he is saying in between bits.
@the Orc
Well it would be rather heartless of us to just let you go off on your own. We just want to make sure you make it back okay. How can you face judgement if you die on the way?
Bluff: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 Clearly we have other reasons for following him. xD
Lershoth kind of looks at Jalel giving him a "I don't know what to say" expression.
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Not a clue about Roseat least.

Jalel "Quip" Medin |

Jalel looks at the Orc. "Perhaps not your judgment, friend. But this new-comer who is interested in your clan is.
You will let us follow you back the to your clan. From there, we are on our own."
Charisma check: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10 The Orc gets an opposed charisma check to resist my Order.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 5

Lershoth Sholme |

Lershoth grumbles before nudging Polmar and speaking quietly in Common.
The Orcs not buying it, wants to go on alone, don't think we can just let him leave so either we need to do something or try and follow him.

Polmar Finn |

Polmar nods knowingly.
He whispers Built for stealth...Jalel try to stay within message range...and Ler-shoth that neb-nosed Rose is following us, make sure she doesn't mess anything up.
Polmar makes a big show of turning off in a huff to leave the orc and then heads into the brush and stealthily follows the orc.
Stealth...I'll take 10 for a 16 if possible otherwise take this roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

![]() |

let me know when the three rounds are up

Polmar Finn |

Guys I am serious, Rose is out here with us and she's hiding from us, be careful and try to keep her from messing up our plan to find out what the hell's going on with the dragonborn and the orcs. Polmar will say loudly enough for the message spell to relay back to Jalel.
He doesn't know what she's doing but he knows what she used to do for a living...
Polmar will continue to follow the orc.

![]() |

Actually I started following the orc first. I was hiding from him not you.

Lershoth Sholme |

Lershoth hangs back for a bit, moving eventually over towards Rose to see what she is about.
Sorry, sort of assumed you were hiding from everyone.
Stealth to Avoid Orc: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (14) + 12 = 26
Moving up to whispering range of Polmar and Rose. We could let him live and follow him. Some sort of Dragonborn thing appeared earlier, I don't think it saw us, but it pretty much destroyed the Orcs that one was with.
Killing him is probably safer though. But we may not be able to glean anything more from him if we do.
Lershoths tail twitches slightly in disgust of what he just said.
Not a time for pleasantries. Sometimes this cruel world demands cruel answers to problems. He muses to himself grimly.

![]() |

Rose continues on, studying him for the best place to strike.

![]() |

Anyone else going to do anything or should I shove a sword through his chest now?

Polmar Finn |

Polmar winces at Lershoth's words "Damn it... I know they attacked us, but they're still just like us. And if those dragon-born are going around beating people down, that could easily be us...but fine Rose go ahead and kill our lead and we'll take our chances with the big lizard guy"

![]() |

Death Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14 That's flatfooted, provided I hit he needs a fort save of 16 not to die.Rapier Sneak Attack: 4d6 + 3 ⇒ (5, 2, 5, 1) + 3 = 16

![]() |

I expect a good reason why you were allowing an enemy of a known hostile tribe return home where he could inform his people where we are or that we exist in the first place.

Jalel "Quip" Medin |

Jalel stared at the now dead Orc with a look of dismay for a moment, but then let it pass.
Now that it's dead it's useless to me.
"The Orc claimed that it had failed and would be returning to recieve punishment. It also said something about going through a different entrance to it's city, it was primarily for intelligence gathering. We were curious to see what it would do as well as how the tribe would respond to the Drogon kin's arrival."

![]() |

Rose looks at him. We can't afford them knowing about our existence until we've fortified an area. We'll take him and his fellows and drop them in the path of the beast. It will cover our involvement.

![]() |

We either prepare to take back the surface or fortify underground, we can discuss that later, either way we'll need that food. Rose reaches over and grabs a handful of grass and shoves it in a pouch where she previously stuck several small mushrooms unnoticed.

Polmar Finn |

Polmar watches Rose in horror and then gets quite angry and begins shouting "Things change when a bigger player enters the field Rose. The Dragonborn tore out those orcs throats like those orcs were NOTHING. They've obviously been on the surface longer and they obviously know what's going on with the Dragon-kin but NO, let's just kill them. Whatever her royal highness
Polmar huffs and sneers at her as she might begin to defend her actions Tch, fine but when the Dragonborn comes back, I hope it is your throat he tears out for no reason and that when we have no allies to help us against that monster and we all die that your superior attitude is of some comfort to you.
Polmar then storms off away from rose and looks for another high vantage point to get a feel for the lay of the land currently - other settlements and things like that and will sketch out a map if he can.

![]() |

Rose follows him. Do you honestly believe that letting known hostiles know of our existence and where we are is preferable? Our greatest strength is they don't know about us.

Polmar Finn |

They found us in less than a day. We aren't exactly well hidden. You bought us what another couple hours. And at the cost of extremely valuable intelligence which I intend to gather myself since I can't trust you.

![]() |

Given what you said, don't you think they're about to have rather large problems of their own? The beast you mentioned will no doubt halt their advance while we can fortify our position.
