I don't know if there's much else Rilka can do.
What other extracts does she have prepared?

1st level extracts: Ant Haul, Expeditious Retreat, Cure Light Wounds (x2), Shield
2nd level: Blood Armor, Darkvision, Kinetic Reverberation, Spider Climb
3rd level: 1 Cure Blindness/Deafness, Remove Curse, Invisibility
Okay, to pass Toramin the extract during combat should that be a free action or a swift action?
Oh and thanks Toramin for reminding me about the DC being tied to the spellcaster level.

We're not really in a position to benefit from any extracts.
Your best bet would be to back up and aid someone's defense.

Rilka also has these
2 shard gels
2 tanglefoot bags
scrolls: Detonate, Unbearable Brightness
For aiding defense, wouldn't she need to be within melee range? So she'd have to go forward, not back up, right?

I didn't say wrong; I said it would be ungallant. Sadly, Bjorkus is right. The best thing you could do would be to move to Toramin's other side and aid another's AC.

If you think she can make the shot despite the cover and stuff, a tanglefoot bag wouldn't be a bad idea.
Rilka, aid another requires an attack roll against an AC of 10.
There's a very high chance I won't be able to post tomorrow. I have three different presentations/ceremonies to go to, so I'll be spending the whole day in a tie trying to convince old people to give me their money to build stuff with.

That is the truest cause.
That was a beautiful post, Ianna.
Dalton, I believe that dismissing your shape change is a standard action.
The class ability says for a # of rounds per day up to his wizard level; this is not the same as Dalton dismissing a spell, but rather him choosing to limit the ability to the end of a certain interval. It is not active during the time in question to be dismissed in the first place because he is not choosing to renew it for another round.

Please, don't forget to roll for the new forge spurned to save against Archon's Aura as they come within range.
From what I could tell it simply functions like beast shape or elemental shape, which lasts until it expires or is dismissed.

I've never read it that way myself but I understand what Dalton's saying and after reading it a second time I get it. He's suggesting that the duration is essentially one round. You can re-up it as no action if you have additional rounds but otherwise it lapses and ends after a round.
Since it still requires a standard action to begin, I don't feel it's overpowered to allow it.
Post may be coming much later tonight. All of my events are happening soon.

Thank you, Rilka. Maybe we should invest in syringes, so you can have a combat ready extract delivery mechanism.

She could get a syringe full of a skin send extract for messing with bad guys.
I have been trying-out Stellaris recently, and I happened to notice they included this as a playable race.
Tremble before it. The end is nigh.

I'm not down. In my stance I have over a hundred HP. 67+29 isn't enough to knock me out.
Also, it took him a 14 to hit me last round. My AC is 2 better than this round than it was last. Are you sure you did the math correctly? My AC is 39 and he is getting a -1 from prayer.

If Omen keeps the dice rolls in order, then the 15 may or may not hit, the 16 will miss due to the miss chance, and on the 1 his axe will gain the broken condition because of the living steel of my weapon.
This will be much cooler for me, than what he thought happened.
Maybe, Rilka, but I can't meta it! Also, if Toramin is up, things change.

You need to update your stat bar.
I MAKE COMBAT DECISIONS BASED OFF OF YOUR STAT BAR. IF IT'S NOT ON THERE, YOU DON'T BENEFIT FROM IT.
I'm going to have to scrap the entire post after Toramin got hit.

Changing the dice rolls to get a different outcome seems a bit unfair to me. You are the DM, and I doubt you will change your mind, but I want to register my disappointment and discontent on that decision.
Considering his next attack roll would have been a 16, he would have hit with his axe instead of his horns and done even more damage. And then 5 foot stepped and started hitting Ianna. The outcome was actually better than it would have been with the previous die rolls.

No. Because the 16 would have missed because the next d100 roll was for miss chance that missed.

This is a much worse outcome for me.
So it was.
Either way, as you thought, I'm not changing my mind. Retcon is difficult enough as it is without having to reapply what dice rolls were if x didn't happen because y wasn't applied properly because z...
No, I just go back to where the error occurred, ignore everything that happened after that point, and do it again.
Male Dwarf Paladin (Stonelord) 11 l HP: 105/105 (127/127) l Init: +1 l AC: 30 (44 v giants) [T: 12 (14); FF: 27; CMD: 29/33(43)] l Fort: +13 (+15), Ref: +7, W: +9 (+11) (All saves increase by +5 for p, sp, and spls) l DR: 5 (Adamantine) l Per: -1
It's not a retcon if you keep what actually should have happened. The way you did it gives you the ability -- whether intentionally or not -- to massage the dice. If you kept the rolls as is. His axe would break. That would f~*+ing awesome.
I don't have the ability to massage dice rolls by fiat. To me this is really unfair.

I was kind of expecting you to edit the post, copy it out, delete it, edit as necessary, and repost. That's what I usually do when I need to massively rewrite a post.
At the very least you could have applied the rolls that were meant for Ianna to Toramin and reposted the narrative as necessary.
My word is final, this is the result.

From my perspective it is.
It looks like you are massaging the die rolls to avoid a particular outcome while making the excuse that going down a list of numbers is too complicated. You have repeatedly told us that you hate retcons and only do it to preserve PCs when you make mistakes, and here it appears you are doing the inverse. You also have said you welcome open, honest, and respectful dialogue. Instead of talking through it, you are exerting your fiat again.
I'm using seems and appears because I have no access to your internal states (and thus intent) but to me this feels like a breach of player-DM trust. I expect and have acted on you running the game as you originally said you would, and this contravenes my expectations. It doesn't look above board to me. I like playing in your game and I have enjoyed it (mostly), but your responses here in someways hurts my feelings.

Don't you dare accuse me of doctoring the dice. I would never be that childish.
I massage no dice rolls. I make every roll in chronological order. Sometimes when I forget a die roll it waterfalls through the entire dice spoiler and I have to change the entire combat write up.
I did not make a mistake in this case, you did. I have repeatedly told you that I base combat actions off of your headers. Despite me insistence upon updated headers on a regular basis, you did not update yours, and I had to retcon because of it. I made the decision to roll new dice because it would be far easier for me to do than trying to reorder them based on completely different actions. I didn't care when it was worse for you, and I didn't care when it was better for you. It was a decision for simplicity. If you don't like it, tough. Maybe update your header next time and we won't have this problem.
I welcome open dialogue. But not when it's accusing me of ulterior motives. I have put my heart and soul into this game and you are spitting in my face when you accuse me of trying to manipulate the outcomes of certain actions.
Male Dwarf Paladin (Stonelord) 11 l HP: 105/105 (127/127) l Init: +1 l AC: 30 (44 v giants) [T: 12 (14); FF: 27; CMD: 29/33(43)] l Fort: +13 (+15), Ref: +7, W: +9 (+11) (All saves increase by +5 for p, sp, and spls) l DR: 5 (Adamantine) l Per: -1
I do want to clarify that I'm not upset about Toramin potentially dying. That's just the way things go sometimes. What hurts is that it seems like you are choosing the worst of all possible outcomes of the scenario. The best would be taking all the initial rolls which players must do. Or making completely new rolls (which is not the worst but still bad). Instead, you are taking the rolls that hurt me (initially) and then making new rolls to avoid using the old rolls which would have helped. And then my objections are met with brusque dismissal. That's what hurts.
Male Dwarf Paladin (Stonelord) 11 l HP: 105/105 (127/127) l Init: +1 l AC: 30 (44 v giants) [T: 12 (14); FF: 27; CMD: 29/33(43)] l Fort: +13 (+15), Ref: +7, W: +9 (+11) (All saves increase by +5 for p, sp, and spls) l DR: 5 (Adamantine) l Per: -1
I have been very careful not to accuse you of anything. I'm only trying to explain why I'm hurt and how I feel.
