Looked at the sign up page, and wow it looks like the 5-6 range is actually quite popular.

Welcome everyone to Solstice Scar C - Level Ranges 5-6. It appears we are using a party with an APL of about 5.
And now, for the Recap of Parts 1 and 2...
The Pathfinder Society was taking part in a festival to celebrate their achievements and stories to share, when a swan made of paper disrupted the ceremonies. Many agents were called to the entrance of the Blakros Museum to find Venture Captain Ambrus Valsin and Nigel Aldain Insert Collective Groaning Here.
The Museum's security and defenses had gone berserk when some invaders locked themselves in the emergency room, and it was up to the Pathfinders to prevent the museum going up in smoke again. After fighting off the defenses and finally meeting the intruders, the Pathfinders found themselves under attack by beings from another plane.
It was revealed that the Twinhorn Tribe was invading the Museum to recollect a powerful doomsday stopping Relic that Nigel had paid his agents to take. The Pathfinder Society rallied with the Twinhorns to the Far North, past Belkzen and Lastwall, to prevent the destruction of the world.
To gain safe passage through Belkzen the Pathfinders had to bargain with Orc Chieftains to prevent an all out siege, but in spite of their best efforts a siege happened anyways. As Twinhorn and Pathfinders fought side by side they managed to battle an entire horde of orcs that assaulted from cliffs above, valleys below, and tried to raid their caravans through use of magic.
Finally, the Pathfinders gather close to the site of where their Twinhorn Allies reside, and a far greater battle looms over the horizon...

Here is a break down of Aid Tokens and how they can benefit the party.
Please remember that we should use these in a timely manner.
A Pathfinder agent strikes a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack by Tier 5-6 2d8 points. In addition, after the attack, anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn.
To Boost: Succeed at an attack roll against an AC equal to an Average skill check.
Boosted Effect: +1d8 points of damage.
A Pathfinder agent heals all of the PCs of Tier 5-6 3d6 points of damage.
To Boost: Expend one use of channel positive energy or cast one spell with the healing descriptor with a spell level greater than or equal to your APL/2, rounded down Our APL/2=2. A PC must cast this spell, not simply activate a wand or scroll.
Boosted Effect: +2d6 points of damage healed.
A Pathfinder agent provides the
effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance for 3 rounds. Subtier 5-6 gives a +3 bonus.
To Boost: Expend 3 rounds of bardic performance or similar ability.
Boosted Effect: Increase the competence bonus by 1.
Gain the benefits of a Knowledge skill check or Spellcraft skill check used to identify a magical item; the type and difficulty depend on the table granting the benefit.
To Boost:Succeed at a Knowledge check of your choice, the result of the check (Easy, Average or Hard) should be noted on the Aid Token.
Gain the benefits of a beneficial spell cast by an ally as listed on the Aid Token.
To Boost: Cast one of the following spells and note your PC’s name and caster level on the Aid Token: lesser restoration, neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease. Only these spells may be granted. Expending resources that produce the effects of these spells, such as a paladin’s mercy class feature, may also grant these benefits.

Lastly, we will be trying to post as often as possible to help us go through as many of the encounters as we reasonably can. Botting will happen if 24 hours passes without any activity from a PC.
If any introductions to each other needs to be made, feel free to do so now! If you have any strange powers/abilities/things that are not commonly known, please add a link to the said thing to help understanding the means of your power/ability/thing that is not commonly known.
Lastly, remember to enjoy yourselves!

On the second slide - If this setup for marching order is alright with everyone we will proceed with it. If not, please inform me at once and we can look into rearranging it.

Your link has a space in it. The boards to this kind of stuff, so no worries. I got ou covered. LINK
As for marching order, I am a ranged fellow, but I can do the same stuff in the fray, pretty much. Sooooo... No opinion on my end. You folks place yourselves as you wish. Feel free to use Malik as a meatshield, too.

If you guys are interested in helping Medda, it will require a diverse array of skill checks.
If you wish to continue to combat, it will require a diverse array of beating up things and killing them.

Posting in some 12 hrs, since it's friday night where I'm at. Only on phone at the moment.
Would you prefer I roll for you and we proceed to the next encounter area?
Malik Rimeclan
|
Sure. Do that so that I don't delay the table. I'll add fluff when I'm near an actual keyboard.
Sense motive and diplo please. Thank you. Kn. Nature if relevant.

Did I miss a transition somewhere? Are we done with the Seeking Aid encounter in the elders' tent and moving on to the next encounter?

Yes. I botted Malik's rolls to the skills he requested, which I saw no bonus to diplomacy and failed all 3 checks. Since all 3 were failed there was no way to succeed, but to our benefit the Twinhorn Allies effect is in place already so most of the other tables beat us to the punch here.

| 1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Shall we boost the Aid Token and pass it to another table? That's my vote.

+1
I can use kinetic healer on it to get another point of burn. It's not a spell or a channel, but a spell-like ability, so not sure if that qualifies.

Unfortunately I will have to say it doesn't.
A Pathfinder agent heals all of the PCs of Tier 5-6 3d6 points of damage.
To Boost: Expend one use of channel positive energy or cast one spell with the healing descriptor with a spell level greater than or equal to your APL/2, rounded down Our APL/2=2. A PC must cast this spell, not simply activate a wand or scroll.Boosted Effect: +2d6 points of damage healed.

Skye can't channel, and he doesn't have a level-2 healing spell prepared. If no one can boost, let's just pass it to another table as-is (already boosted once when we got it).

Skye had already made his 'Handle Animal' post to influence Quiselle and Survival check to influence to influence Vallahk. The early diplomacy check was just an attempt to make an impressive introduction to the court.

GM, can you share the graphic images you use for effects like the flaming spit? I'd love to use them.

A quick heads up from me, since I'm on the phone now. I probably won't be able to post today, so feel free to fluff stuff out while I am gone. Work trip has me busy.

Pathfinders! Please be sure to use and pass that Aid Token ASAP.

Skye raises Shoanti Special Blend No. 7 in the gardens of the Dark Archive. What he doesn't smoke himself, he gives away.
(No day job. Are you kidding? He believes in smoking dope and universal income. Not a lot, just enough to buy rolling papers.)
Kitajo Uchihide

Oh yeah, day job.

GM Worg, please remove me as a player from this table. Thanks.

Anything else you need from us in order to prepare Chronicles?
Malik Rimeclan

Thanks for the games, folks. Sorry for being a bit slow towards the end. I'm stretched a bit thin, and was on a bad connection in the last week.

Hey mate, have the chronicles been sent out yet? Also just realised I have not rolled for my boon, if it's not too late.
boon roll: 1d20 ⇒ 19
And for my dayjob, I will instead be attempting to check a box on my Birthright Betrayed chronicle for the Rising Star boon.
Knowledge Nobility DC17: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (10) + 9 = 19
