Jeskit makes a quick swing at Akkurat, but the floor is just smooth enough, for the momentum of the swing to briefly catch him off balance.

Mosi swiches his footing like a professional, thereby avoiding an aoo from Akkurat. He swings his fist at the shifter, but it misses as he leans to the right.

As Chompy advances upon him, maw opened wide, filled with teeth the size of butcher knives, the faceless stalker makes a swipe towards Chompy's legs.

The long arm of Akkurat grabs Chompy's ankle and janks it from underneath him, causing Chompy to whip up dust 10ft away.

If Azora's position is one square south, she could easily position a cone to miss Mosi and still hit Akkurat. Just use the left cone reference you linked, and make it so the far left side of the cone hits the baddie.

Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12 Fail - this puts Mosi at -2, if the cone does indeed hit me. I still don't believe it should, since if we were at a table Azora could easily have changed her mind before rolling. I'll wait to post my action until I get a ruling.

I don't see how I hit him at all. Not a whoops thing, as I specifically stated I was avoiding Mosi. The bottom edge of my cone runs along the bottom of the bench. The only one to be hit would be the bad guy. Dropped a quick shape to show the area of effect.

I appreciate that, thank you! Yea, the nice thing about google slides is actually drawing your AoE out. I know some people get hung up on nitpicking the board game aspect, but if you are going to have a board, you might as well have fun with the tactical side!

"It is not wise to be dead either..." he says out loud to himself. Having been tagged once by surprising reach, Mosi slides a step back to create a little more space between himself and the treacherous foe. A pair of spinning shuriken cut through the air, crossing the now longer gap.

Jeskit comes closer, and Akkurat's face slightly shifts to something vaguely resembling glee, as far as faceless creatures are able to express.

Dirty trick: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 , he swings with fine accuracy through the air, painfully tapping Jeskit's eyes with the tip of his blade to blind him.
Blinded for 2 rounds, as it beats your CMD by 5+.

Being hampered in his vision, moving towards his intended spot requires some focused leg work.

In his blinded state, he accidentally trips over his own foot, falling prone.

Balbo directs Chompy to head for Akkurat again, shooting an arrow thereafter. The arrow flies over the shapeshifter's head, hitting the wall yonder.

Oooh! Thanks for the reminder, Azora! So Balbo's to hit is a '12' with the bow (probably still a miss), and Chompy's bit is now a '15', which might be good enough? His trip is '16', which likely isn't enough to do anything, even if the bit does hit.

"Nobody tell Valsin about how long this is taking!" Mosi shouts, trying to lighten the mood around this fight which is not going all that well. No one was bleeding out on the ground though, and that was at least something worth focusing on.

Mosi looks down briefly at his tunic and the growing circle of blood that flows from his wounds. His mind flashes to the relief held in the wand of cure light wounds he holds in his pack, knowing if they can just knock this thing out, Azora might be able to use it on him.

Sweet relief... wait. It is not wise to be in pain. Focus Mosi, focus on the task at hand.

Making sure to keep a respectful distance from the dangerous foe, Mosi steps behind Azora, getting a line of sight over her shoulder and flings a couple more Shuriken at the enemy.

Jeskit, you were standing behind a har corner of the benches, 5ft stepping is prevented by this. Though you can draw your weapon during your 2nd move, ending up there anyway.

Despite a difficult angle to throw, Mosi's shuriken lodges itself into Akkurat's shoulder.

Jeskit recovers from his aching eyes and switches weapons.

Balbo's arrow isn't as accurate as Mosi's shuriken, and Chompy is still struggling against blindness.

"You should just surrender. You cannot defeat all of us." Mosi says with confidence, though inside he doubts ever so slightly if it is really true. His heart sinks when Azora crumples at his feet.

Not yet willing to confront an answer he doesn't want to hear, he reaches for and flings another pair of the razor sharp metal blades. If only I wasn't so hurt, I might really be able to get in there and do some damage. he wistfully thinks of bludgeoning the formless man with his quarterstaff.

Yes, no trouble with Chompy's condition there.

Mosi grabs his staff with his tail, and starts swinging it at Akkurat, who has to lean aside for the first attack to miss.

Balbo takes a shot at Akkurat following that, but Mosi provides the villain with enough cover to avoid getting hurt.

Chompy now gets closer, since Mosi was between Akkurat and Chompy, him moving does not provoke aoo., snapping his teeth at Akkurat.
The aberration stays safe from this, accursed smooth floor....

Yes, movement doesn't provoke as long as one remains behind others (cover), of at least the same size. Being SW of him, he may have gotten an aoo on the last second. But that was going to be a miss anyway.

Asterion jumps and darts across the floor, becoming a mere flash approaching from behind the other combatants.

Asterion slides across the floor in a half crouched position, thrusting his blade upward as he slows down, his gladius entering Akkurat's chest.

"Here Asterion or Balbo, you can use this, can't you?" Mosi presents the half elf with his wand of cure light wounds. "Let's make sure everyone here is feeling... better." he says, smirking in spite of the grevious wounds in his chest and side.

Somehow I didn't end up blowing dirt bubbles, thank the gods for that. he thinks to himself as he moves first to help make his friends more comfortable while they are healed.

As long as we are out of combat rounds, I say each of us roll for our own healing, and mark off our own charges from our wands. Saves the GM and all of us time. If no one can use Jeskit's wand for him, then I will volunteer charges from my wand until he can use his wand on himself.

Asterion volunteers to use a wand on whomever wishes.. they just need to make the rolls and cross off the charges from their wand assuming Asterion uses it for them.

Math hard sometimes... So 9 charges total then! Thanks Asterion! So Jeskit and Azora can use charges from the point that my wand gets them up to, or just assume that Asterion knows where your wand is and uses yours from the get go. Let me know either way. Everyone just needs to roll their charges and we should be able to move on! I'm pumped we survived that fight. It wasn't looking good there for a bit!

"Dalsine was going to have this skulking thing kill us, then pin the murder of the Quadrian Loyalist's family member on us, perhaps even folding in some of the details of the smuggling operation. What better way to start a war then to point both sides at each other and give them a reason to shoot. A lie only needs a thread of truth to feel believable."
