Although I'm not willing to commit to a whole AP at this point, I'm thinking about running a module. This one has quickly become one of my favorites, partially due to how it's chronicled for PFS. Wanted to see if there would be interest in doing all 3 parts possibly in core.

Yes, I was hoping for a chance to play these one and just missed the chance to play in this the last time someone offered to run it here on the boards. I could play it either standard or core.

When it comes to the modules for PFS, I'm a completionist. I'll admit, I'm not a fan of core only, but I'll play core. I'll enjoy roleplaying. And I'll try to roleplay as long as everyone isn't writing walls text.

I'm in a quite a few games already, so if you have a preference as to who gets in, you can select another who is not in a game right now or very few, but what the heck, March is a slow month for my company and I won't get many hours, so I've got time on my hands.

Edit: I do like the idea of my character going through three parts with just one group.

Also... Gallows of Madness is an awesome set of modules. I have loved my playthrough of it! I hope you have a blast playing it!

Sounding like their is enough interest in CORE that I might go that way the first time around on this. I've run the full set once already non-core, and although it is an evergreen under certain conditions, I can get the full credit for it in core. Assuming this goes well, I'll likely put together a non-CORE later, possibly before this one completes once I see how much time it will require.

Great. So, what's the timeline look like for when characters are due and start date?

Full disclosure, I'm a leader for a cub scout campout this weekend. So I won't be doing anything to start until next week. I'll give priority based on order people flagged interest, as long as they have a character set up by Tuesday. We should be able to get going within 24 hours at that point.

So right now priority goes to:
Ghost1776 (willing to do CORE?)
Helikon (willing to do CORE?)
DoubleGold
Middleman (Likely not interested in CORE)
Bani Woodcarver (via VL proxy)

I'm good with your reasoning Thrawn007. I'll look at making a Core character this weekend. If I fail to do so by the deadline, then I'll drop out.

I've played A Foul Breed in classic but not the other 2. My understanding is that all 3 parts are for characters level 1 - 3 so if you don't want to slow track you should start with a level 1 character.

I'm happy to play all 3 parts Core and I post daily. I can make a new character for this depending on what we need. Though my top 3 choices would be

1. Dex based whip using Cleric of Calistria. (Positive channeling)
2. Polearm using Fighter based around Trip.
3. Wizard with Evocation school but mainly focusing on conjuration spells and eventually summons.

I am also quite interested in core.

I'd be quite interested as well.

Karnak is a lvl 1 CORE wizard, ready and able to play all three parts.

Actually I'll step out. One of my local stores is offering parts 2 and 3 over the next 2 months and I don't want to be playing it in core and classic at the same time.

Hi! First time PbPer here. I'd be interested in joining the game, if Core, with this character.

I've no problem playing Core, although I've only have one Core character built at the moment and he's in consideration for another game right now. So I'll probably have to build another one.

Top three choices

1)Cleric of Desna, with travel and luck domains, most likely a dwarf

2)Human fighter who uses a great sword.

3)Dwarven Monk, no seriously just a Dwarven Monk.

Well, dwarven clerics are always good. And a dwarven zen archer could be downright deadly.

Grumbaki, Zen Archers are definitely *not* CORE (although I agree that they are quite tasty...).

Trust me, Core Dwarven Monks are awesome :)

This is Middleman. I made a Core human druid. Still putting on some finishing touches.

Just now seeing this but I have a core druid that I'd love to play. If we need to start at level 1 I'd be happy to start a core fighter.
