Lazarus Xim |

use tech device: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25
"Agreed. I bet we can find something to override the landing bay lifts in the maintenance areas. And hopefully something to override the remote control too. I will keep an eye out for company while you more technical types work." Lazarus sheathes his sword and keeps an eye out for trouble.

Kunga the Seeker |

"I have a power pack that you can use," offered Kunga with a tinge of reluctance. He needed to power his weapons, but he needed to get through the doors even more. He holstered his pistols, removed his backpack, took out a "spare" power pack and handed it to Fraejia. Then he returned the pack to his back and drew his pistols.

Fraejia |

Nodding at Kunga, Fraejia takes the pack and begins attempting to wire it into the appropriate door.
Use Tech Device: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20
[rolling this for lack of a better clue, will change to something else if need be.[/ooc]

GM Warhawk |

With the power pack jury-rigged into the console, the console's touchscreen flashed to life as it drained the energy from the pack. The command to open the door was easily recognizable. As the icon was depressed, the doors began to shudder and open. As they cracked open, the group was assaulted by a rotting stench pouring through the opening.
Fortitude check everyone. DC 15 or become Sickened for 1d6 minutes. Roll both a Fortitude check and a 1d6 for duration. If you make the save, the 1d6 can be ignored. If you fail by 5 or more, you become Nauseated for 1d6 minutes instead.
When the door was half-open it suddenly stopped--leaving just enough room to squeeze through the doors one-at-a-time. When the doors stopped, the console and power pack started shooting out sparks everywhere before going dead, leaving both useless from this point on.
Inside the door, the room was lit in much the same way as the rest of the corridor, everything illuminated by a dim red glow.

Fraejia |

Fort: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 171d6 ⇒ 6
Face scrunching up in disgust, Fraejia swallows any reaction and quickly shoves the disgust into a small corner of her mind. "What a wonderful smell we've discovered."

Kunga the Seeker |

Kunga winced upon smelling the vile stench wafting through the doors, but he did not sicken. "Gross. This room smells like dren."
Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 231d6 ⇒ 2

Lazarus Xim |

Fort: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 +2 if this is a poison
Minutes: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Lazarus keeps his eyes on on the hall behind them as he is overcome by the stench. Turning to look at the group quickly he asks, "What is that smell?"

GM Warhawk |

Peering through the partially-opened doors, you can see a rather short corridor with what looks to be three rooms at the end--one to either side of the corridor and one at the end of the corridor. The doors are closed save for the room to the left.
Soon, the source of the stench becomes apparent. Out of the left room emerges a horrid sight; a shambling, festering corpse fused with various bits of machinery and outfitted in what look to be rotting mechanics clothing. It's right hand has been replaced with a myriad collection of various tools, while it's left is carrying a large wrench as if it were a club. Following the creature out of the room floats a slightly-rusted Deruteian maintenance drone. Obviously, this drone and mechanic have been trapped in this section for quite some time.
Upon seeing the party, the two move to attack.
I need to know the general position of everyone in the junction. I know Xim is closest to the corridor you came from. Also, roll Initiative.
Risen-Mechanic: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Repair Drone: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Fraejia |

Seeing as most of her compatriots were feeling rather ill, Fraejia had gone to the front of the group as they explored this new area. When the...thing...behind the door and the drone began to advance on them, she prepared to atack.
Init: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Terz "Lux" |

init: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 - 2 = 17
Terz stands trying to shake the sickness. He moves to one side of the door firing at the corpse.
Attack Rifle: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 - 2 = 9
"They are coming to us. Let the door be a choke. They need to come one at a time."

Kunga the Seeker |

Kunga followed directly behind Fraejia since he, too, was unaffected by the stench. He was disgusted by the cyborg's putrid flesh, but he was also excited, for both opponents reminded him very much of the kinds of foes he used to fight in his adventures with the space marshal. Kunga was ready to shoot first and ask questions later. He aimed for the cyborg first, because he really did not want the thing touching him.
Initiative: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19 another +1 to avoid surprise
Zero Pistol: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 83d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 6, 5) + 2 = 15 includes favored enemy bonuses
Semi-Auto: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 172d8 + 2 ⇒ (6, 6) + 2 = 14 includes favored enemy bonuses

Chaali Thaalosso |

After trying hard to hold back the vomit, Chaali's stomach settles. Then he sees a hovering drone, along with a shambling cyborg. At the sight of the horrifying corpse, the throw-up finally comes out. But, as ever, he is ready for a fight against the forces of evil.
"A cyborg once tried to attack me. I served his liver with fava beans and a chocalate milk."
Initiative:: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
How long does an activation for an energy sword last?

Fraejia |

Waiting to declare my actions til the enemies have resolved, too many possible variations since I am at the bottom of the order.

GM Warhawk |

Order is: Kunga - Xim (Nauseated) - Terz (sickened) - Mechanic - Chaali (sickened) - Drone - Fraejia
Xim, being nauseated you can only make a single move action until the effect wears off. Sickened gets -2 to atk, dmg, And most checks.
As the corpse moved towards the door, Kunga and Terz both fired at it with their respective weapons. Both Kunga's zero pistol and Terz's rifle shots were wide, hitting the far wall and ceiling. Kunga's pistol shot strikes the corpse, but the creature's thickened skin and metal parts mitigate most of the damage.
I'll wait until Xim posts to continue.

Lazarus Xim |

:P Yes, I typed the wrong word. My bad. I should be sickened like everyone else.
The undead don't tend to travel alone, Lazarus thinks to himself. Xim stretches out his senses, trying to connect with the darkness deep within. When he does this, he feels unlife around him. Is the risen-mechanic the only unlife around? Xim casts detect undead.

GM Warhawk |

The creature moves forward entering the doorway and attacking the closest person to it with its heavy wrench.
Attack Terz - heavy wrench:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Luckily for the Nekoji, it's powerful swing missed.
Chaali, you're up. The undead Mechanic is in the doorway with Terz and Kunga to either side of the doorway. After you is the drone, then Fraejia.

Fraejia |

Just to point out, Chaali already posted his though whether he wants to change it any I don't know. Going to get mine posted now for convenience.
She will prefer the drone to the undead as target, and her claws should do one extra point of cold damage. Also, as they are considered magical they should, I believe, bypass the dr/armor.
Claw 1: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 211d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Claw 2: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Zero Pistol: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 43d4 + 3 ⇒ (4, 2, 3) + 3 = 12

Kunga the Seeker |

I believe Chaali only posted his initiative, not his action, but since he has one weapon and nobody requires medical attention, we can guess what he will do.

Fraejia |

Whoops, you're right Kunga, misread it being half asleep still and getting ready for work.

Chaali Thaalosso |

Never afraid, Chaali takes a swing at the …thing.
Energy Sword: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Damage: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 8) + 2 = 13
Last time, it was supposed to be +2 due to the Psionic weapon feat
Sorry I haven't posted. Busy

GM Warhawk |

Chaali's energy sword bites into the creature's flesh, apparently unable to avoid any further serious attacks against it.
Behind the undead in the corridor, the repair drone hovers to one side and back, as if it was waiting for something.
Fraejia attempts to get a clear shot of the drone, but is unable to as Kunga, Terz, Chaali and the undead all block her line of sight. Snapping off a shot with her zero pistol, she fails to do more than freeze a small section of the metal door just above Kunga's head.
Start round 2.

Kunga the Seeker |

Kunga took a step back from the undead cyborg and fired at it with both pistols.
Zero Pistol: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 213d6 + 2 ⇒ (1, 1, 2) + 2 = 6
Semi-Auto: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 142d8 + 2 ⇒ (1, 7) + 2 = 10

Chaali Thaalosso |

... Yeah, go Second Round!
Chaali uses his powers from his training in his mind and protects himself from the attacks of the mechnical monstrosity (Biofeedback). "Blast, why won't this monstrosity just die all ready!"
Is this thing considered undead, or is it alive?

GM Warhawk |

Terz's axe slices into the creature, yet he fails to strike anything vital as his strike glances off of some of the metal infused into the creature's body. In retaliation, the undead mechanic swings it's large wrench at Terz.
Attack - Terz (heavy wrench): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
The creature's swing strikes against Terz, but his armor deflects most of the damage. The strike was strong enough to cause some bruises though. A horrid stench emanated from as the creature struck the Nekoji.
After DR, dealt 3 damage to Strain. Make a DC Fortitude save or be Nauseated for 1 round.
Chaali, I'm pretty sure manifesting a power provokes an AoO, so I'll do the roll and effects. If it doesn't, ignore it.
Attack - Chaali(heavy wrench): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
A miss, regardless

Kunga the Seeker |

Kunga does not have Precise Shot, by the way, and I am not always certain who is standing where. Please add in the penalty for shooting into melee as you see fit. Thanks.

GM Warhawk |

As the repair drone hovered silently in the back of the room, it's sensors detected the increased damage dealt to the risen-mechanic. After a few beeps and bloops it hovered to position itself behind the mechanic. A large mechanical arm that up until now seemed as if it were only part of the drone's body extended out and began spraying a stream of nanites at the undead.
Nanite Healing Stream - Risen-Mechanic: 1d10 ⇒ 10
The nanites worked quickly and efficiently, repairing the damaged portions of the undead's partially mechanical body.

Fraejia |

I don't think the drone has gone yet, and I missed that Chaali had gone already somehow, sorry bout that.
Seeing her shot go off target and realizing she can't afford to waste them, Fraejia decides to move in and claw the drone, so she is less likely to hit an ally.
If she can, she will move in to take a claw attack on the drone, whether she can flank or not make no difference though she will flank if she can.
If she can't get in range of the drone, then she will go for the undead if possible.
If she can't do either then she will do full move to get in range of one of them drone>undead.
claw: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 91d4 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
Wow, not my fight to be hitting anything huh.

Kunga the Seeker |

*** ROUND THREE ***
Seeing the droid heal the cyborg's wounds really frustrated the Hezmana out of Kunga. He cried out, "What?! Do not heal him, droid. Do not heal the cyborg. Do you want a piece of what he was going to get? Do you?" Kunga shot at the droid. His energy weapon worked just fine, but his conventional firearm misfired. "Oh frell!"
Zero Pistol: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 183d6 + 2 ⇒ (2, 1, 5) + 2 = 10
Semi-Auto: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 72d8 + 2 ⇒ (6, 5) + 2 = 13

Terz "Lux" |

Round 3
Terz growls furiously at the undead creature growing angry at seeing the creature getting healed.
Primary axe attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 - 2 = 11Damage: 2d6 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 3 - 2 = 4
Secondary axe attack: 1d20 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 3 - 2 = 17Damage: 2d6 + 3 - 2 ⇒ (2, 3) + 3 - 2 = 6
I just noticed I only rolled 1d6 for my axe in round 2 instead of 2d6.

Lazarus Xim |

Round 3
Lazarus will slip in next to his frosty friend, and stab the repair droid.
Rapier STAB!!: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17 / damage: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 5) + 1 = 9
Lazarus sets up to 'parry and riposte' the next attack at him.

GM Warhawk |

FYI, the undead is in the doorway, making it impossible at this time to get to the drone (who is behind the undead). Kunga is to the left, Terz is to the right, and Chaali is in front of the door. Fraejia is behind Chaali. I really need to put some effort into some maps.. >.<
Here is a (really) rough representation.
.
.
[].- D -[]
[].=R=[]
[]K C T[]
----F---
----X---
If you want, I can have Xim wait until after Terz *cough*-hint hint-*cough* to take his action against the drone. I'll wait till you answer before continuing.
The freezing energy from Kunga's zero pistol struck the drone hard, causing a crystallized sheet of ice to form on the protective shell of the drone, yet the drone easily was able to withstand the cold.

Chaali Thaalosso |

Round THREE! Thinkin' it's my turn ... Guess what I'm going to do.
Chaali takes a swing with his energy sword, deftly switching victims from the undead machinery to the drone.
Inside, he thinks, Undead cyborgs? Now this is something new.

GM Warhawk |

While Kunga's zero pistol worked like a charm, his semi-automatic pistol jammed, distracting him just long enough for the undead to take a swipe at him...
AoO - Kunga (heavy wrench): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
... and miss! Terz focused his anger and swung at the mechnaic with both axes. Both connected, but his primary axe glanced off of the metal portions of its body. His off-hand axe, however, bit deep into the rotting flesh of the creature, dropping it to the floor and leaving only the drone left to engage.
Xim, seeing the opportunity present itself, charged through the opening while drawing his mono-filament rapier. As he came face to face with the drone he launched an impressive display of swordsmanship before stabbing the drone. While his masterwork rapier penetrated the drone's metallic armor, it failed to cause any serious harm that the drone could not fix on it's own.
