Still I disagree. But I see your point. I believe we're all entitled to an opinion?

But I follow you on that one Luke. No need to derail.

For some reason I can't seem to get the creativity going. I can easily do the crunch, but the story just won't happen. I am still going to try though.

Not to mention that I don't have access to the computer with all my characters. I will get my flash drive to transfer them.

EDIT: I found the info I was looking for. Crafting a character now.

Did the GM mention when he was going to close recruitment? I think he said in 24 hours a couple posts ago. But its far surpassed that.

I also noticed that deadline pass, so I assumed he meant more of a generic "tomorrow" than a literal measurement of hours. But it may also be related to his general absence from the boards since yesterday.

Meh, I am withdrawing. Good luck to everyone else.

RECEUITMENT IS OFFICIALLY CLOSED!

Also, Thursdays are my real-life game days, so sorry for not posting. Will only be on long enough today to inform my other recruitment.

Selections will be tomorrow!

Anticipating the Selections. Anxious to see if I was chosen.

Dark Archive

I have been working. I am still interested. I can post on most nights.

Sorry guys, I was busy getting financial aid worked out for my blood tests and working on helping my friend lay out a plan for a brick-and-mortar gaming store with a robust online shop. It's taken a good bit of my time today, so sorry I haven't posted. Tomorrow posting will resume.

I will select applicants tomorrow!

Here are the selections! Those not selected, I will be running a WotR campaign, so look for it if interested!

Explorer/Thief: Grizz Yellowbeard
Rich Merchant/Noble: Nikole Alicer
Mercenary/Bodyguard: Niccolo Avashan
Desert Nomad/Guide: Kaerlic
Scholar: Grith

Finish up your backstories, statblocks, ect. and post when you finish. Then, we shall begin!

I'm ready. I think. I'll need to buy desert gear but that can happen in game.

Looking forward to it!

I'm not really sure where to post my backstory, so I'll put it here. My stats are all good to go.

Kaerlic was once the son of a rich merchant, set to inherit his vast fortune upon his death. His father made his living by running caravans through the Qadiran desert, and despite his immense wealth he still enjoyed personally supervising the journey. When Kaerlic grew older, he began to accompany his father on these travels, but one day, tragedy struck. The caravan was attacked by bandits, who turned out to be in league with some of the animal handlers employed by Kaerlic's father. Kaerlic used the dueling skills that he learned from his father to survive and he has spent the last few years living in the desert, assisting lost travelers.

@GM - Can either Girth or me change archetype before we start? We're both filling in the same type of alchemist at the moment...

@Girth - so who do you think will switch if allowed? Your filling in the Arcane/Scholar role so I think your a better candidate but if you already have future plans for your PC, then I will instead since I don't have definite plans yet. :P

Nikole Alicer, yes, PCs may change archetypes before we begin.

Kaerlic, you can spoiler it in your alias.

Discussion and Gameplay threads are up! Dot at your leisure, people of the sands!

@Nikole - Don't call me that. My name is "Grith". Also, I'm fine with dropping my chirurgeon archetype (if I understood your proposition correctly).

@GM - I've noticed you picking up a good few games to run. Is that something you feel capable of doing at a reasonable clip?

Oh yes, most definitely! Six campaigns at 1-4 posts per day is not quite as hard as people make it out to be, unless someone is REALLY busy. I don't have that problem, because I'm taking a hiatus from college until I figure out the cause of this hypoglycemia. The fact that I was operating for several months, unknowingly, on low blood sugar is why I couldn't handle more than I had. Now that I'm keeping it relatively stable, my mind is sharp enough to run multiple campaigns and still give me time to do other things. :)

I am sorry Grith, my eyes were playing tricks on me and had funny fingers to go along that night as well.
