Milo was already starting to draw off the heat from the surrounding area, the icy blue cold flame already starting to form along his limbs, when the salamander hits its long eerie note on the pipes.

Suddenly, the gnome's mind is filled with thoughts of his long terrifying nights on the streets in the slums of Magnimar, and a long buried flight instinct kick in. With little warning, he starts to back down the tunnel they just entered through, then turns and flees.

If only Guang was a 3rd level paladin and had the aura =)
Oh... Milo's going to be soooo mad when this wears off!

To be honest, I thought he had the aura, and it would be a non issue. Never the less, ONWARD!

"Perhaps now... I can become one with destruction?" With Glen's mighty swings, the serpent slumps to the pit of fire, releasing his grip on Guang. Guang, you still owe me a Reflex save to not be on fire. Glen, I'm going to assume a 5 foot step back out of the pit after your swings?

With the pit continuing to smolder, the flickering fire pit causes corners of the room to glitter, as well as the bases of broken pots. With a closer inspection, you find gems, golden figures, jewelry and coins littered about the room. Some are strategically placed to make sculptures or twisted effigies, while others are haphazardly piled into pots or piles about the room.

Kn(Kistory) DC 15:

Eventually, Milo will stalk back into the room... and not surprisingly... he is fuming mad! Flames dance along his hands, flickering in and out of existence as if eager to be cast out into the world and burn it down to the ground.

He is surprisingly quite, his teeth clenched so hard, you can hear them grinding against each other. His brow deeply furrowed and his eyes glaring at everything, the fury broiling beneath the surface almost palpable.

It is everything the little gnome can do to keep his familial curse tamped down. The rage and desire to burn everything around him is almost overwhelming. He ignores the items in the room, not caring at all about any of it, just wanting to move on, and find something to vent on, before the need to do so, takes priority over the who.

He knows even his fellow Pathfinders would not be safe then.

After taking a bit of time to patch your wounds and collect little golden golems and wands, no matter where you look, there don't appear to be any foot prints. That being said, there appears to only be one way farther into the citadel.

Stone stairs and Winding passages form a labyrinth of intertwined tunnels. While many lead to dead ends, empty display cases or scavenged workshops, the path leads continuously upwards. Eventually, the path upward leads to a pinnacle of stone, only about 20 feet from the roiling energy storm above. Despite how close this small respite is from the raw elemental energy above, it seems remarkably peaceful. Blackened Scars and scorched stone, on the other hand, implies that this might be a rather recent change.

The only other remarkable feature is a ancient skeleton, with singed robes of an ancient design. Shattered and broken bones look to have been placed together with care, almost as if laid to a Final Rest. The sandy bed that it rest upon melds to a thin layer of glass, forming a transparent dome, as almost a Coffin in which the remains were sealed

As the div's spell encompasses him, sapping his strength, and trying to cloud his mind, Milo finally loses any last vestiges of control!

The fire in his head consumes the clouds trying to daze his mind, and the fire in his hands suddenly becomes an inferno. He starts chanting arcane words in draconic and, for a moment, it looks like the gnome himself has suddenly combusted. But suddenly, the flames bursts upwards, heat washing off of them like a bast furnace, racing towards the Cruelest Cut!

At this point, Milo doesn't care about what it is, or whether its resistant or immune or anything else. He just needs to burn something... anything... everything! Graaaar!
