Glitterdust vs. Blue. Will DC 16.
POINT OF ORDER: TS, I was going from memory with the colors since I couldn't see the map; I thought Blue was teh uninjured one, turns out blue is the Dead one. I'd have targeted Yellow, may that target please be retconned? And if Yellow fails the will save vs. glitterdust & is blinded, can it even use its gaze attack??

GM thunderspirit |

In my head it was Yellow anyway. Saving throw would be the same though.

Kappi whispers to Vojtek that the creature he is trying to bifurcate is already in several pieces thanks to earlier efforts to that effect. Davosh looks around, "Did we.... did we win?"
You can still hear the faint sounds of the battle going on, so you conclude that while you drove off the dracolisk assault...no, you have not yet won. Plus, you encountered this battle while responding to Commander Pharmol's summons.
Incidentally...

will look back to see if I used a hero point/whether I've got any to use, because a +4 here will be, um, helpful.
EDIT: looks like I did spend it, and we get 1, not the 4 I have on my char sheet...so I'm petrified, it looks like.

GM thunderspirit |

Per Slack: the part of the petrified PC will now be played by Edward W. Fell.
The group takes stock: one friend now a statue and the rest still being called to meet with Commandeer Pharmol.

Ali'yanah D'ohr'hein |

Ali gasps at Edward's current state and utters a vile oath. She hurries over to the petrified adventurer, and signals to the barbarian. Vojtek! Help me carry him!

Davosh the Wanderer |

"Come! Bring the statue! Pharmol needs us!"

GM thunderspirit |

Vojtek doesn't so much help Ali as carry the stone Oradin himself, taking the stairs two at a time to reach the conference room at the top of the Lord's Tower.
Pharamol raises his head to say hello, flanked on one side by Amerenth and the other by Jarilne, and is stopped short by the sight of the statue. By Zumlzi's scales...what happened?!?

Davosh the Wanderer |

"A temporary set back to be sure, but a potent one. Edward was our healer. While I can do a little, I'm no master.... of that anyway! Can you spare supplies while you tell us what you need of us?"

Kappi Matarito |

The young lad’s eyes are wide as he follows after his “big” brother. He breathes a slight small of relief when Davosh mentions it is temporary. Still an awful state to be in.
Davosh he whispers Is Edward still aware of whats going on around him? Kappi ponders it for a bit and isnt what would be worse…

Davosh the Wanderer |

"Ah! My boy, Edward is one of two things, and I'm not sure which is true. Either it is as if he is in a dreamless sleep where there is nothing to miss because there is no experience.... OR he is fully conscious with a mind frozen in time that is screaming with the constancy of the stone he has become." Davosh then shrugs nonchalantly and nibbles on a piece of jerky that he finds in a pocket.

GM thunderspirit |

Jarilne, seemingly nonplussed by Davosh's assessment, looks over the turned-to-stone Golarion and directs Vojtek to bring it to her chambers. When they return, she has a thin wand she hands to Davosh. It is not much, I fear, but it will have to suffice for now. This is a wand of cure moderate wounds with 19 charges
Commander Pharmol shakes his head. I am saddened to see you affected by the dreaded dracoliches as well. The abominations should be scoured.
He sighs. Take some time to catch your breath, friends. We are in a bit of a lull. But I am sure this is not over yet; we have yet to see our foe hit all at once. He motions to the map, where several black shapes have moved. And have something to eat.
Let's treat this as something akin to a "short rest" in 5E. In this case, you get up to one quarter (rounded down) of your hit point total back as healing — example: Ali's hp total is 77, 1/4 of which is 19 — and you recover up to one quarter (rounded down) of your expended daily resources, including spells. Kappi can also restock javelins or whatever, from the Spurhorn armory.
This is 100% experimental, and I may or may not use this again, depending.

GM thunderspirit |

Quick recap:
— as per the above post, the "short rest" here takes effect.
— Edward's heroic maneuver to take the brunt of the dracolisk's gaze spared Ali at the expense of himself. What a Paladin!
— Ali made a DC24 Arcana check on the dracolisks at the beginning of the encounter, but Davosh did not roll (presumably because Ali nat 20'd the roll). I'll allow that now to learn things.
— the battle is, by all accounts, not over.

The hit points are good. I think what Davosh and I had decided for casters was to add up the total level of spells used, divide by 4, and then restore that level of spells. (Example: if you spent nine levels of spells, you could restore 1/4 of them, rounded down, so EITHER one 2nd level OR two first level spells.) Asking Davosh to confirm when he can.

That sounds right. I'm ready!

Davosh the Wanderer |

So sorry!. Davosh scratches his head a little, and then scratches Ali's. He looks at Kappi, but opts not to scratch his. Knowledge (Arcana): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (16) + 20 = 36

GM thunderspirit |

No apologies necessary. The game is supposed to be a pleasant distraction from life, not an additional source of stress. :)
Davosh knows that the blood of a basilisk is a restorative ointment for those turned to stone. Perhaps the blood of a dracolisk might work the same way? He does not know.

Davosh the Wanderer |

"I once read a treatise on how you could coat a bout of gout in hag fish slime to lube it out. I've also heard that you can drain a basilisk of blood to turn people from stone to flesh. Perhaps it's worth seeing if a dracolisk can do the same!?"

GM thunderspirit |

Davosh makes an unconventional – and kinda gross – proposal. Commander Pharmol looks on in some shock as Davosh whisks the group out of the room, heading back down to where the dracolisks were defeated.
Ali, Davosh, and Kappi gaze at the fallen beasts, not knowing quite what to do. Vojtek has no such hesitation, stepping up to the least one felled and decapitating the corpse in one swing.
As the blood begins to flow, Vojtek clasps the neck closed and proceeds to drag the headless body through the tower and back into Jarilne's chambers. Somehow, Jarilne is there already, completely undaunted by the appearance of a massive and acephalous corpse in her room. The Northman opens the neck with one hand, and plunges the stone form of Edward in with the other.
Nothing happens. At least not yet.
So we wait, Jarilne says simply.
Almost as if on cue, Commander Pharmol's voice comes to you via sending, bringing you back to the task at hand. The final assault has begun! To the ramparts!
Outside, a lethal dance of claw and wing plays out in the skies about Spurhorn. Drakes and dragonkin slash and tear at each other's wings to knock their foes from the skies – mortally wounded dragons fall to their deaths, their shattered bodies lying broken and bleeding upon Spurhorn's battlements.
As you gaze at the carnage about you from atop the parapet, you see a single, riderless dragonkin engaged in combat with a trio of enemy dragonkin. It is Talsune, from the Spurhorn Council. His wing drives the blue dragonkin aside, but almost at once Talsune is caught in the fiery breath weapon of the gold Drakelands foe, and he turns directly into a claw from the white dragonkin, which knocks him unconscious.
