Rapunzel

Rapunzel quickly searches the corpses for anything interesting while her companions look for tracks to follow.

Searching the area, you easily pick up the tracks of Kafar and Nefti. The tracks lead to the back of the hall to a collapsed doorway, but you notice that the tracks stop about fifteen feet short above a thin crack in the fllor. Looking through the crack, you can see a tunnel below.
For ease of reading, the ealier spoiler read:Looking around the room, you find a worn-out leather strap hanging from the mouth of one akata. It appears to still be connected to something. Something in the creature gullet, that looks fairly easy to retrieve. Also, among the rubble, you find a exquisitely crafted dagger, a +1 mythic bane dagger, as well as, a vial containing one handful of dust of disjunction, and a sheet of beaten gold. The sheets has writing scrawled in Aklo across it.

Examining the objects Arovandeon warns his companions. "Careful of the akata's mouth, they are known to carry disease."
He then reads the golden sheets.
Arovandeon knows the Aklo language.

Arovandeon takes out his journal and begins making notes about the objects found, taking extra care in documenting the golden sheet. "This contains a ritualistic prayer used to regain power from the stars. Though it is written here in Aklo, knowledge of that language is unnecessary to perform it, though I would caution against it. One can only benefit from it once per week, and performing it could attract the notice of something beyond."
We can use this once per week to regain 1d2+1 uses of mythic power.
Just to clarify, is there still something wedged in the teeth of the akata?
| GM Tektite |
Pulling the strap in the mouth of the akata, Arovandeon dislodges a tattered, half-digested pouch from the creature's gullet. Hours spent in the akata’s stomach has destroyed most of the contents, but several parts of a journal are still intact and legible. The entries include poetry and music composed by Nefti, as well as mundane day-to-day observations. The last several pages record Nefti’s complaints about the Aspis Consortium’s lack of appreciation for his accomplishments. A folded sheet of paper wedged in the journal bears the title “Potential Partners” and names the Pathfinder Society among other well-known organizations.

Holding up the tattered journal, Arovandeon says, "It would seem Nefti is dissatisfied with the Aspis Consortium and may well be open to a change in loyalty."
He then looks around to see if evidence remains of Nefti's survival.
Did Nefti get eaten here?

Izoki peers through the tiny crack and shakes his head.
"I may have small bones but I'd have to turn into a sparrow to squeeze through that crack. If we do not have the proper tools for digging, which I do not, then I suggest we found another way around."
Loenor Shalothas

Loenor turns to survey his surroundings. He does a doubletake and grins. "If they got through, we can get through."
He strides purposefully to the nearest pillar and stretches his arms before leaning against it. "Someone want to lend me a hand?"
It is clear he intends to shove a pillar onto the cracks in the floor, hopefully creating a hole wide enough to get through. Or just creating more rubble.

Arovandeon watches as Leonor moves to the pillar. His eyes take in the scene, grabbing details, angles, architecture - his mind grabbing these and forming a schematic in his head, applying mathematics and engineering, calculating success.

Loenor rushes to the cracks to check his progress. Satisfied that some was made, he goes for the next nearest pillar, hoping it is long enough to impact the same area.
"If it can stand to be lost, see that it is."

This time, large chunks of the floor give way leaving an opening large to crawl through! Dropping down into the secondary tunnel, the party easily finds the Apsis tracks and regain the trail. A system of tunnels runs under the temple, cutting through the mountains. These dark, 10-foot-wide round passages extend throughout the region, allowing the creature that created them to travel throughout the Pillars of the Sun. Spots along the rough walls show signs of chemical reactions between the rock and some unknown substance.

What is a death worm? Most Knowlege checks for Arovandeon are minimum 25 when taking 10.
| GM Tektite |
Arovandeon recalls that a death worm is a large, magical beast that has corrosive blood and poisonous skin. The grow up to fifteen feet long and can weigh as much as 1200 lbs. Despite their size, they are able to hide remarkably well among the desert's rocks and sand where they inhabit.
Following the trail with, Loenor is able to quickly guide the party out of the tunnels, coming out onto a dry plain wedged between two escarpments. The two tall sandstone outcroppings rise to the north and south, channeling whistling wind and stinging sand through this pass. The carcass of a giant serpentine beast covered in dried blisters lies in a heap at the gorge’s narrowest point, the body savaged by some powerful predator.

Arovandeon examines the carcass and finds that it was once a death worm. He also thinks the blisters contain the deathworm's poison. If handled roughly or jostled, the blisters could break and release the poison.

Taking the time to pick your way around the dead worm, the party continues following the Aspis trail. Before you get two far, you hear some rubble falling behind you and turn to see a large blue scaled creature behind you. It opens its toothy maw and a bolt of crackling electricity arcs toward Fastenhyme, Rapunzel and Arovandeon! "You dare trespass on my domain a second time! You shall now suffer my wrath!" The creature roars at the party.
