Somehow I expected something like this would happen soon. This game's been a roller-coaster in terms of luck!

I'm honestly a little deflated (read this as a lot) at the moment. Even when we try to barricade ourselves somewhere - to hole up for the night - conserve our resources - we're set upon. And Zaia has no more healing. Please guys don't try anything that will get you seriously injured or killed. Why are we not using the other alchemist's fires in the sack Yirrik has? Zaia took one out for her own use before we even entered the ruins, but I'm sure Yirrik brought the sack with him. At this stage, I can't remember what else is in the sack given to us by the Pathfinder. I may need to go back in the entries.

@Wymond: The armour thing didn't even concern me all that much. But I agree - We can't keep moving through the ruin when there are no safe places to hole up and some people don't have their belongings etc. This whole complete darkness thing due to magical light not working inside the ruin is not helpful as we're constantly needing torches and we're going to run out of those soon enough (as they only last 1 hour each and we already have 5 lit). I guess we didn't do our due diligence and ask someone about light inside the ruins (or one of the npcs could have told/warned us :p). If we continue and there are more goblins hiding/lurking in the shadows with bows, then we won't get very far as there's no magical healing left this day.

For clarity for our next moves, Is the Eastern door completely destroyed or was the stuff we piled up to block it merely knocked back? Like, can we re-barricade it to buy us some time as we break for the exit if that's our decision?

I'm back, folks! BOY was that in interesting little vacation! I went to see the memorial plaque for E. Gary Gygax in Lake Geneva, and as it turns out, the resort I was staying at is where GaryCon was being held at! While we left before I could see the actual Con, I know it's there to go next year. And then we visited The House on the Rock, in all its weird glory. But now I'm back, and I'm posting! :D

You're a lovely bunch of people, but I'm having to cut back on my games due to time and energy/motivation. I don't want to leave you in the lurch so I'm fine with Zaia becoming an NPC for the time being until you find another player to replace me. So, I looked over people's character sheets and the money it says you all have.

For a total of 84gp.
Alchemical Acid is 10 gp a flask, while Alchemist's Fire is 20gp.
The fire has some minor advantages over acid, but if swarm detterent is our main objective (and if people are okay spending their funds on it), I'd say we go with 8 flasks of acid.

Just swarms in general? We don't really have any means of dealing with them; goblins can be killed with swords.
Only if you can see them.
We could cast obscuring mist. Then they'd be as blind as us, level the playing field.
