Only the target of the attack. But it would still miss Devanandra. Blasted invisibility, I keep forgetting about it!
Aldaris shouts at the necromancer and tries to slip her up, but the cleric's footing remains sure! But before she can come back with a witty retort, everything falls silent as Devanandra's tactic comes into play!
Reflex: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Aided by the silence, Ozak steps up and swings wildly at the woman and finally, with the final swing, cuts her down!
And with the other fixer pinned, we'll call that here.
Closeby, there is a large pack with several of the items they were looking to take off with. Most are tomes of some sort.
With the mausoleum clear, where do you wish to go from here? Explore this area of the Grand Lodge or move to another district?

Aldaris begins to use his wand of infernal healing upon himself and begins the resummoning ritual for his eidolon.
" Oh grand spirits of the past, return she who has gone into your haven back to me. I require her aid as she requires mine"
How much time to we have to spare?

To be clear, the woman who was knocked out was the only necromancer. The other two men are just thieves.
Aldaris takes some time to call back his eidolon, though the instant she returns she resumes dying.
So far as time goes, the Aspis is attacking right now, so as long as you don't overly dilly-dally, you're good.
Real-time time limit, we move on to Act III on November 28. You can continue to act and beat back the Aspis until then. Seems a lot of districts still need help!

![]() |

It takes you 10 minutes to get from the Mausoleum to your destination in the South district. It seems Aspis activity is slow here, most going on to sites of greater interest and value. You are about to turn back when a grinding sound catches your ear.
You look about.
Nothing seems overly amiss.
Before you is the tall statue cast in the likeness of Durvin Gest, the most famous Pathfinder of all time. Beneath the statue, pedestals stand adorned with angelic figures and elaborate friezes showing some of the more memorable scenes from the Pathfinder’s long and celebrated career.
The statue stares intently off into the distance.
Wait... That's what's amiss! The statue isn't staring off into the distance.
It's staring at you!
With that same grinding sound, the large piece of art steps down from its dais and opens its mouth wide. Too wide. Wide enough to swallow you whole.

I have 2 questions at this point
1.do we get any additional information other than identifying or should i make a separate check for that
2.Is there any place to restock between or within the various wings?

![]() |

1) Same check. Devanandra gets some info with the check.
2) The place is in absolute shambles as the Aspis strike. You are able to use your inventory in those 10 minutes travel between locations, but there are no options for purchasing.
I also put Aelurus' token on the map for the statue. And she's in init order. =)

Righty-ho-ho. It has DR/adamantine, immune to fire, and of course construct traits. See below for a refresher if anyone needs it.
Constructs are not subject to nonlethal damage, ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, or energy drain.
Constructs are not at risk of death from massive damage.

Then i'll take offensive capabilities. Still a little new on the advanced stuff so DR/adamantine means it takes reduced damage from adamantium weapons right?
Aldaris ponders for a moment
" It's a tophet, so an animated creature of sorts. The statue couldn't have possibly come alive on it's own right? It must have some sort of magical battery powering it!"
Both Aldaris and Aelurus attempt to seek a physical vulnerability in the creature (if any exists at all) They seem hesitant to approach the construct given how poorly their last encounter went

Correct, Aelurus/Aldaris. Whatever material or property is listed is that gets through that Damage Reduction. So if it said DR/cold iron, you'd want to use cold iron. If it said DR/good, you had better hope you have a bless weapon or something. If it says DR/-, well, good luck. That can't be overcome by anything. So since it's DR/adamantine, have at it with adamantine! Swing away!
Aldaris and Aelurus keep their distance trying to find some point of weakness or the source of the transformation. They cannot find any, however.
