Anok responds in his deep, booming and hollow voice, “They came into our camp asking about Ivvora. Medda gave them shelter and told Ivvora’s story, but we would not part with the hilt. The next morning the hilt and the Blakros agents were gone. We tracked it here, to this building.”
He grips his fists tight as he says this, his eyes accusing the Pathfinders in front of him.

![]() |

"Listen buddy. We are much better looking than any Blackros agent" replies Iago, hoping to disarm them with his vanity. "Point is, we didn't steal anything. But you might be right now. Sooo... How about we all relax, come on down, maybe explain things with old Mutton ... Never mind, he's an asshat too. Hmm. How about you come and talk with this guy I know. Amenophus. Old Osiriani dude, was probably born the day Aroden decided to pick up the Starstone. He's wise, patient, and doesn't like people who steal artifacts from people. Don't believe me? Ask him to tell you about how he feels about all the Osiriani artifacts the Qadirans took back in the day. He'll help you out if you're telling the truth. Ask one of your guys to subject me to a zone of truth if you think I'm lying. Valsin doesn't pay me enough to lie."

![]() |

Anok looks back at Iago, somewhat confused, and still angry, ”Are you agents of the Blakros, or of some other organization? ”
Medda steps up behind him, and puts a hand on his shoulder as if to calm him. ”I think that much is clear, Anok,” she says. ”Perhaps it is time for you to introduce yourselves to us, as I already have to you?”
While Anok is still quite hostile, it is clear he is not the one in charge. Medda has calmed, and it is clear she is willing to talk. She just wants out with the knife.

"We are part of the Pathfinder Society," Mentys responds. "We occasionally help the Blakros, mostly around this museum, when their agents and security measures prove too inept. How about you keep the thing for now, hopefully for good, and we go downstairs so you can talk to our leaders? Iago is right, we speak the truth."

"If you wish proof that what I speak is true...
“It is bound to me.” She grasps the hilt tightly, then her eyes begin to glow with a brilliant white light as her scars begin to seep thin rivulets of blood. “Is that not proof enough?”

As team gets ready to head back down, when suddenly...
A rumbling grows in the room, and everyone can feel the entire room shaking. In the middle of the room, a swirling vortex appears, causing the chandelier to fall to the ground, sending shards of glass everywhere.
A vile creature appears in the wreckage of the chandelier, deftly wielding a vicious, saw-toothed glaive, while below its toothy maw writhes a hideous, twitching beard.
Immediately, it attacks Anok, the effort of the powerful swing obvious to all!

Kavor, that would be an apt assumption
If they are forced to use their claws, and it strikes with both, it will also last at the same opponent with its spiky, filthy beard. This nasty beard can cause devil chills on a person struck.

Well, I had not realized he had plate armor on him. I can and will deliver to Menthys by moving a little differently. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I mean what kind of transmuter wears full plate of all things? Then again, he IS a dwarf.

He's got full plate too and a 12 dex, though with armor training he could get half of the benefit. Menthys has a breastplate and 14 dex so he only gets half credit too. Dang. Oh well. Mentys has the lower AC and needs it more.

Iago strikes the devil, once, dealing some damage as his blade has trouble penetrating the vile skin of the creature.
Put into a situation where using its polearm is unfeasable, the devil drops his glaive and proceeds to attack with its nasty claws. It goes after the still raging Mentys, probably in part due to the oread's ability to attack more than once, and partially due to the amount of magical energy the team has imbued on him. As it strikes with both claws, it drives his nasty beard into the face of Mentys. Mentys is overwhelmed by the damage, and collapses. In doing so, his anger subsides, and now he looks to be on Death's door.

Silgil completees his enlarge spell and Iago grows a bit. Gotta love an extra large greatsword.
Currently, Iago does not have room to grow, but the spell says he may make a Strength check (using its increased Strength) to burst any enclosures. That would be Bravo, he's the 'enclosure'. In this case would he just push Bravo out of the way? I've never actually had to go through this little experiment! If it is a problem he will cast on Kavor instead, but I'd like to see how this plays out.
Finishing his enlarge person spell, he rounds the turn out with a little magic missile from his wand. Cue Star Wars blaster sound.
