NICE INIT ROLLS!
This wide area on the east side of Briar Henge has a roughly circular shape. Four tall, thin spires of ancient stone thrust up from the ground at irregular intervals like malformed teeth. To the west, two thicker stones are capped with a third horizontal stone, forming a crude gateway. A thick piece of charred bark is suspended in this gateway by a web of crackling energy. The crackling energy pulses outward from the bark into the dolmen stones, and from there into the ground.
The layout is exactly as was described to you. The druids appear to be split covering both entrances and as such they only have half their number facing you ready for your attack.
Everyone but Baru is up!

His howling battle cry preceeds him as Gaeldrung charges across the field. Completely ignoring the other druids, (who are denied AoO's becasue they're flat footed for now), he focuses all his might into his swing at the end.

Gaeldrung moves so fast that the druids can't react in time, they were not anticipating an assault from the party. The druid he is charging is currently chanting quietly. He attempts to spin when he hears footsteps but doesn't get around as the axe buries in his back. The druid stops chanting and screams in pain from the blow. He is shaky but still on his feet.
Briallen's druid was prepared for an unsuspecting party member walking in with a melee weapon, not a blast from a gun. He takes the hit in his shoulder, grimacing. He is also chanting softly in unison with the other druids.

Lukaas dashes to Briallen side, and uses his crossbow against the same target

Unfortunatly, his pawed hands are clumsier than usual, and the bolt buries itself somewhere in the green

Gaeldrung, White Eagle and Briallen all connect with their targets with the inquisitor nearly knocking his down from his charge. The druids react and attack, though a little late it seems as their surprise attack has failed, but still quite effective. The druids move up into position and whip their quarterstaves around into their intended targets.
The druid Gaeldrung charged swings back and connects with his midsection 4 damage. Another druid yellow moves into flanking position behind Gaeldrung, it's obvious his quarterstaff is larger and more deadly then the others. Perhaps it's enhanced somehow? Either way, he cracks it over the back of Gaeldrung's head as the inquisitor drops from the two blows. 12 damage.
The third druid starts casting a spell.
The fourth druid steps forward and swings at Briallen, but misses high.

Briallen ducks as the staff comes at her head. Her hands work quickly to reload and fire at the druid before her. Her shot barely misses, still doing damage as it burns the druid's arm.

Up Close and Deadly (Ex): At 1st level, when the pistolero hits a target with a one-handed firearm that is not making a scatter shot, she can spend 1 grit point to deal 1d6 points of extra damage on a hit. If she misses with the attack, she grazes the target, dealing half the extra damage anyway.

I'm at work and don't have access to map (blocked). So please move Baru to flank with someone, or nearest enemy (if flanking is not possible).
Baru moves to attack. As he has done previously, he waves his wand. A blue glow of energy flashes from the end of the wand. Drawing back his clawed hand flashes with the same glow the wand discharged, and he slices at the druid.
School necromancy; Level sorcerer/wizard 1
Casting Time 1 standard action

Range touch
Targets creature or creatures touched (up to one/level)
Duration instantaneous
Saving Throw Fortitude partial or Will negates; see text; Spell Resistance yes
A touch from your hand, which glows with blue energy, disrupts the life force of living creatures. Each touch channels negative energy that deals 1d6 points of damage. The touched creature also takes 1 point of Strength damage unless it makes a successful Fortitude saving throw. You can use this melee touch attack up to one time per level.
An undead creature you touch takes no damage of either sort, but it must make a successful Will saving throw or flee as if panicked for 1d4 rounds + 1 round per caster level.

The red druid spins and swings his staff at Baru and cracking him in the head. 9 damage
The orangedruid finishes casting his spell and suddenly begins to grow and grown until he is towering twelve feet tall with a tree-sized quarterstaff in his hands. He shouts a few brief words a foreign tongue to the other druids and swings his staff at Lukaas. I talked to the coordinator of the event this morning and told him we were on the last encounter and finishing it up. I asked for a possible day extension and he told me it was ok as long as I had it in first thing next week. So we're still good! Sorry I was busy all day leading live games.
Baru's attack finishes up the orange druid. Briallen turns her shot towards the red and inflicts moderate damage.
1d20 + 3 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 1 - 1 = 6
Lukaas takes a 5' step and stabs the red druid with his rapier just as White Eagle begins to charge towards it. As he does so the large druid takes a swing at White Eagle as he closes in, but misses. White Eagle fills the gap with his shortspear and plunges it into the large druid. Eldak finishes the combat and places the bolt center mass, taking down the final druid.
With the immiedate thread disposed of, the party turns its attention to the Atavistic Splinter which rest visibly on one of the nearbly stones. As the sky darkens and the sun is nearly beginning to set, the party knows that time has almost run out on them.
