Poe grumbles as he walks back over to Vingold and swats him across the back of the head lightly.

"What're yeh thinking, yeh daft bastard!" Poe exclaims. "Didn't yer mum tell yah not tah flirt with gals sportin' pointy teeth! Oi! Not tah mention she don' look like a right proper gal at all, what with her curly goat hed and narsty clip-cloppin' feet and the effin' need to shag in fronta the dead and lack of braided hair fer holdin onto!" he takes a breath. "It's like yeh jus' gon and left yer damn mind in the last room!"

Poe will continue to rant, but its not with much 'serious' fire in it. More like ribbing an old friend about his taste in women.

"That's it... Ah gotta get yah a real woman to remind yah what being a dwarf's all 'bout. Ah know a girl with the purtiest honey blonde hair and two beautiful... Tankards ah mead tha you'd just love. And she can swing ah hammer like Torag 'imself gave her lessons!"

"Good, off you go.", and she tosses the skull away, it bouncing away and rolling against the wall.

Yizzik would give a heavy sigh, both arms dropping down and only loosely hanging on to his shield and axe. The fight had been a hard one, if still a short one. 'Ore than anything, her words of answering to someone else only brought him a slight feeling of dread. This wasn't over yet. "Sorry to deny you a mating. But I doubt it would have worked out well with this she-devil," he offered to Vingold as a small condolence.

Lilly has a look around the room, and finds the following.

Next to the bed, you find a rough hand-drawn map of the surrounding tunnels, labeled with both the Redoubt and Davarn as well as a nearby location marked "Caravan."

Lilly is especially thorough in her examination and finds an old journal in a false-bottomed drawer in the beside table. It contains Delbera's firsthand accounts of her adventures.

Reading her journal:

Reading them reveals a very unsure and insecure young acolyte studying at the feet of Father Grandich. She left home to meet the calling of her god even as commitments to her family, friends, and community demanded she stay.

She feared that her choice to leave made her an exile, and that those she loved would never accept her back, and so she threw herself into loving and caring for the Rising Blades. Delbera reached out to protect and encourage her companions and those they encountered in their travels, and they in time grew fiercely protective of her as well.

Her accounts take care to describe their adventures below the mountains of northern Andoran and the Five Kings Mountains, when the Rising Blades fought a surge of undead crawling forth from the caves. Her fear becomes palpable in the journal as she describes the caverns—not dissimilar to her childhood home—as oppressive and evil. Her accounts focus on supporting and healing her teammates, and later doing what she can for the tiny gnome settlement they discovered hidden near Karexin's Tower.

Journals dated much later describe her return home and the fanfare that followed. Her final two entries can be read here.

Thodir stumbles into the room, now recovered from the confusion Lilly had inflicted upon him.

"Oh, ya took 'er out!" He jumps around the fey woman's corpse. "She was a nasty one. Vile. Tried ta get me to do things to her. By Torag, ya couldn't convince me to do that even if ya paid me in mithral!" He chuckles.

"Well I think we're gonna make way back for Davarn. I found some spare weapons and tools downstairs .. and lots of dead duergar .. and gave 'em to my best guards."

He takes leave and leads the other dwarves back downstairs, singing something between a shanty and a hymn.

With Sarxa taken out and a set of keys in your hands, the locked doors on the lower floor with the strange red paint on them come to mind.

Hinata frowns at yet another failure as Lilly finds a ton of things she must have missed after the Dwarf mentions heading back with the others she would ask about aiding them further. "Shouldn't we travel with them? We are done here aren't we?" She asked hopefully.

The handout you had found downstairs mentioned someone by the name of Zohir Totek meeting with the fey woman and hiring the duergar commander and mercenaries, so that answers that. The fey woman (Sarxa) told you that her boss means to use Delbera's weapon to slay any Axebringers and bring them back as undead.

You've got a few options. There's still the locked room downstairs with the Undercommon writing on its doors. Second, the map in the room had a nearby location called 'Caravan' written on it down one of the tunnels. Or you could escort the dwarves back to Davarn.

I know magics can be draining and those bombs need to be made," he offered, giving the group a look over. His axe and shield could continue on, but from his time in the desert, he has learned sometimes it was better to rest when you could and should.

I'll assume Yizzik will probably not sleep in armor given the penalty involved.

The brave souls you are, you take turns resting in Delbera's bed, sleeping for long enough that Hinata is able to reconstruct her bombs. The night goes without incident, save for the odd creepy slamming of a door in the distance or footsteps heard from downstairs. You awaken and put your gear back on, well-rested and ready to move on.

Hinata gets all her bombs back, 5 hp restored to anyone missing any. Where to, team?

Depends on what time it happened, if it was at the start it was likely the dwarfs leaving so Hinata wouldn't think much of it

Waking up after a poor nights rest it takes Hinata a few seconds to recall where she is and the realization only makes things worse. Right still here.

Once everyone had time to gather supplies and ready spell or other items needed she would reluctantly question their next move. "So are we finishing exploring today?"

It appears the verdict was to continue on, then, so:

With the upper floor cleared of flirty fey women and dwarven captives, you head back downstairs towards the locked grand bronze doors. On them is red writing in Undercommon that Lilly had read as, Do Not Enter, although Vingold read them as Please Enter.

They have Disable Device DC 30 locks, but you also have a set of keys you could try.

Vingold finds no traps on the door, and the key fits perfectly in place, each pin clicking as he puts it in and turns it.

A brilliant crystal chandelier hangs in the center of this open room. Five portraits hang on the walls: a Chelish man in plate armor pictured with a sword and shield, a half-elven woman leaning against a bow, a ruggedly handsome half-orc in long robes, a Varisian woman holding a crystal ball, and a muscular but maternal dwarven woman.

Several statues have been smashed to rubble, cluttering the floor. Part of the chamber's northern wall has been torn down, revealing a once-secret door of bronze and gently shimmering runes.

Poe steps into the room and suddenly feels the swelling of evangelical devotion all around him. The bits of smashed statues begin to rumble and levitate off the ground, and the outline of two ghostly figures is barely recognizable in the center of the room as they fade into view. As the voice echoes, the shattered bits of statue assemble themselves into a 12 foot tall form of Audalot Karexin. You're able to recognize Karexin from the book you had seen in the library. He was the court necromancer from the Court of Ether, an inverted city in the Darklands. You also found a map of Karexin's Tower which may prove useful later.

Reaching for his magical axe, Yizzik prepared to draw it and do battle with the stone enemy.
