James moves in for a better shot while Birdfoot holds his ground with a mad look in his eyes.
"My favorite pray comes to me. How luck my day!"
He loses one more arrows at James before stepping back out of sight but not before seeing James crumple to the ground.
Longbow 1: 1d20 + 8 + 4 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 8 + 4 + 2 - 2 = 31
Damage: 2d6 + 3 + 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 3 + (3, 3) = 20
"Oh these arrows were worth the investment."
Seeing James fall the half-orc rushes forward to fill the hallway and swing his earthbreaker at Ivar.
Earthbreaker: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 Hit
Damage: 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 6) + 3 = 10

Zeer uses the momentem of the half-orc falling to his death to leapfrog the body and head straight for Birdfoot, ignoring the other Orc swinging wildly at his companions.
Move 30ft + AOO from the half-orc
Zeer is satisfied that the electrical buzz of his weapon is gone, making it feel more familiar to him as he swings downward on the creep

The thin smiler is faster than he looks, Zeer is unable to make contact.

James Quintik |

Stabilize: 1d20 + 1 - 5 ⇒ (15) + 1 - 5 = 11
Just before the arrow pierces his chest, James thinks Perhaps I should think about some cover...

Ivar Stonewrought |

Unless that earthbreaker is adamantine, I only take 8 damage. DR 2/adamantine. Also, I need to update my stat bar, AC is currently 21 due to Augar's Deflection Aura, but that ends after this turn, I think.
Ivar stumbles back a step as he massive hammer strikes him, but manages to keep spinning his weapon, and strikes back at the orc who struck him.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Damage: 1d10 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

Elkin Stormborn |

Elkin moves a step closer to the half-orc in blue, fixing his gaze on it to draw its defenses down like the others.

Standard: Evil Eye (-2 AC) vs blue, 7 rounds duration, Will DC 17 for 1 round
Move: Cackle
Elkin moves swiftly up the stairs, hoping to get a bead on Birdfoot next round.
Double Move: 40'

GM Red Box |

Ivar: Understood. I just list gross damage for both side, you guys can do the math and it dosn't reveal any DR from my MOB's that way.
Uronzeer rushes forward powered by rage and attempts to take out Birdman but a stumble on the steps causes his blow to go wide while Birdman taunts.
"Pathetic, maybe it is your turn."
Ivar fixes the half-orc in blue with a withering gaze that somehow makes him much easier to hit. After being struck Ivar retaliates much more effectively smashing some of the half-orcs armor into his skin underneath.
Will Save: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Damage, Gravity Bow: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (6, 1) + 1 = 8

GM Red Box |

Vedia's acid continues to burn Birdfoot as she advances up the stairs but misses her shot with the crossbow.
Birdfoot's smile falters as he takes a step back from Uronzeer and fires again more arrows at the half-orc.
Longbow 1: 1d20 + 8 + 4 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 8 + 4 + 2 - 2 = 20 hit

Both arrows fly true but the first again seems to do substantial more damage then a normal arrow. As soon as the arrows are away he drops his bow and pulls out a long-sword.
Dropped bow and quick draw.

Augar gets to James and begins to remove the arrows."You know you could tried to remove them before I got here." He said

The stairs up now free of the enemy... well, the living enemy, anyway... Elkin rushes up to the top landing, and peers around the corner looking for Birdfoot. Cowering in the corner so soon? Elkin breaks into a grin as he works his will through his stare.
Move: 30'
Standard: Evil-eye (-2 saves) vs. Birdfoot (7 rounds, Will DC 17 for 1 round)
Evil Eye (Su): The witch can cause doubt to creep into the mind of a foe within 30 feet that she can see. The target takes a –2 penalty on one of the following (witch's choice): AC, ability checks, attack rolls, saving throws, or skill checks. This hex lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + the witch's Intelligence modifier. A Will save reduces this to just 1 round. This is a mind-affecting effect.

James Quintik |

James coughs and spits blood, trying to take in a deep breath but the lungs still hurt. "Thanks," he mutters, looking at the bloodstains on his front.

Is it possible for me to affect birdfoot with a spell this round? I'd like to give him a grease spwellell. Otherwise I just continue performance and walks down the stairs.

GM Red Box |

Xander - Sure but you don't really have line of sight to anyplace he is. Currently he is up two flights of stairs and around a bend. He was up there last round as well and only took a 5ft step to get space from Uronzeer.

![]() |

While the fray intensifies and the sound of half-orcs are tackling up the stairs, Zeer kneels and considers recouping, then he remembers he is full of arrows.
Zeer rips out multiple arrows in one grab of his gauntlet and again charges Bridfoot, this time his scares glowing deeply.

Down below Xander weaves some light into the appearance of a wall hoping to slow or stop the arriving half-orcs.
Uronzeer again swings a might blow that bounces harmlessly off his armor. Birdfoot who gives his head a little bemused shake.
"Big guy, you don't seem so good at this."

He fixes his mental energy at drawing on the fates to even the fight out a bit, hopefully to bring Birdfoot effectiveness down a little in all areas.
Standard: Misfortune on Birdfoot (Will DC 17 negates)
Move: Cackle
Misfortune (Su): The witch can cause a creature within 30 feet to suffer grave misfortune for 1 round. Anytime the creature makes an ability check, attack roll, saving throw, or skill check, it must roll twice and take the worse result. A Will save negates this hex. At 8th level and 16th level, the duration of this hex is extended by 1 round. This hex affects all rolls the target must make while it lasts. Whether or not the save is successful, a creature cannot be the target of this hex again for 1 day.
