i think i would have to ready an action to magic missile her if she starts to cast. I would be useless at anything else until my readied action was triggered. I think it is viable but summoning might be better. Something to get in her grill and slug while Whendel shoots magic missiles at her. The elemental can also help flank her.
Maybe after the elemental comes?

Abaal steps forward and whacks the woman hard as the tentacle's slow swing is easily sidestepped.
Snarling, she replies "My race has nothing to do with my desires here little one. You should leave while you can...if you can. I will not cease ending you, but I will not chase you from this land."
Slowly drawing her blade, she looks Abaal over before swinging it down upon him with two hands. In her haste to strike, she wiffs him something fierce and nearly slices off her own leg.

Raging Song (Su): When the skald begins a raging song and then on each ally's turn, if the ally can hear the raging song, that ally must decide whether to accept or refuse its effects. This is not an action. Unconscious allies automatically accept the song. If accepted, the raging song's effects on that ally last for that ally's turn or until the song ends, whichever comes first.
Inspired Rage (Su) Affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +2 morale bonus on Will saving throws, but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.

Weird. That means I should be rolling an "80% hit chance" with the cut off being 80, and 81 being a miss (otherwise 80-100 is a range of 21%). So you just hate simple verbal math and grammar-nazis is that it? ;)

Discussing what to do now as the webbing and ice storm fade away, Abaal leans over and gives the woman a peck on the cheek. More blood flows from her wounds as he reassesses her.
With a shrug, he leans over and wraps her in an embrace, planting a sloppy on her mouth. His feeling seems to give her a reason to stay as the blood stops flowing!
Abaal, she is now stable :-P
All that remains is the Dragon. Do you wish to head there now...or are you really planning on spending 8 hours trying to sleep in this building?

I'm with Syllyn, let's move on and take on the dragon...no telling what might come after us while we rest... let's get outta here!
I also say leave Iramine where she is...she's not trustworthy and can probably still cast some nasty spells...we were lucky to take her out as quick as we did...when she comes to she can eventually get out of her bindings...we should be long gone by then...

Whendel would like to get out of the heat and then one hour of rest to get rid of the exhaustion would be nice. Even that would help. I have one first level and two second level slots. But the exhaustion sucks. Can't use fire bolts or defend worth a flip.

Shoulder padding. Improvised tower shield. Souvenir. The usual. In an old 3.x game Abaal had the habit of making hats out of his more interesting foes. He once had this cool seacat helmet.... Anyhow Abaal figures that important folks in the region might be interested in talking to her. Well, that and she's gorgeous! ;)

Whendel, can you still cast magic missile and/or summon (especially that earth elemental)? If so, that should be enough...any break we take might give us a random monster or two and most everything here has been nasty...just lay low for this one last fight...cast and stay to the rear. If Phoebee and Syllyn can continue to inspire, hopefully Abaal and Flyn can do enough damage before the dragon can breathe on us more than once, especially if we can strike quickly...
Whendel Walkner

Whendel takes out his rope and throws the other end to Flyn. "haul me across should I fall." He then ties himself to the rope. Next he climbs down the cut ropes to get to the bottom. Then he climbs up the rope he threw to Flyn.
Climbing down a rope with wall to brace is dc5. Whendel currently has 4 strength. If he takes 10, he will have -3 for strength but +2 racial bonus for a total of 9. Should be good both ways.
| GM RePete |
Abaal recognizes it was a fire dragon when it was alive. Immune to fire. He also realizes it has light fortification with the golden bones. It's safe to assume it has undead traits due to it being...a skeleton...
No such luck Abaal on the teleporting/magic carpet/etc

"Here, hold this." Abaal drops Iramine on Whendel once he's ready to go.

I'm good with that assumption Flyn. Phoebee, Syllyn we can retcon if you did not use your standard to start songs
Going to go ahead and push the combat since I know Flyn has another game coming up and your current position on the map benefits you. :-PAs the two story tellers begin to spout their songs, Flyn fires a one, two shot through the open door. *THUNK*THUNK* Reaches your ears as both connect with force!
Snarling the beast calls out "Oh, I see how it is. Lets not sugar coat it then..." and a gout of flame erupts from its mouth, encompassing Fly, Abaal, and Whendel.
28 Damage: Reflex DC 19 for half
** spoiler omitted **
Round 1:
Dragon (-37)
Abaal (Heroism)(-28 or 14: Ref DC 19)
Whendel (-28 or 14: Ref DC 19 (10 less damage due to FR))Round 2:
Phoebee
Syllyn
Flyn (-28 or 14: Ref DC 19)Bold Up
Phoebe/Syllyn Feel free to do something else for your round 1 if you wish: I suspect this fight won't take long with damage like that coming out on both sides
No, she would begin the song knowing that fighting a dragon is a tough thing since she did kill a white dragon :)

Sorry, came home last night ate and went to bed.
The bard begins her inspiration
Smelly cat, smelly cat what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat it's not your fault...
They won't take you to the vet.
You're obviously not their favorite pet.
You may not be a bed of roses,
And you're no friend to those with noses.
Smelly cat, smelly cat what are they feeding you?
Smelly cat, smelly cat it's not your fault!

This one helps to add to my collection she says.
What kind of dragon was it again?
Would I have to make them masterwork?
