Sounds like a plan. If I can ever drop the yellow dude, I'll come your way...yellow looks like one of the weakest ones left and he appears to have 30+...hopefully my last shot drops him...that Egarthis dude hasn't been touched and Krantz looks like he has a buttload of hp as well...dunno how 2nd level characters get past this...unless we're supposed to get captured...

Sure was. I was surprised it didn't work.

It does seem like we got the short end and were supposed to handle these opponents one at a time. We have an average of 20 HP each and they have 30+. We have to fight smarter. That's why I suggested the ranged attackers get behind Syllyn and have him go wall for as long as possible.

Still may not be enough if some of the opponents do not start dropping and, hopefully, the summoned dogs *poof*.

Syllyn has a CLW wand he can use which should restore Laura, which he will do if he does not go wall.

Lauranna has a wand of clw also. Might try healing her with or without dead dogs. Lauranna could then channel to stabilize purnel. Then form up and take them on with healing support. Cure light wounds wands are nice.

You could step back and slam the doors on them to buy time.

Quick note: Lauranna gets a couple of bonus hp when magically healed due to her Fey Founding trait.

Sounds good Syllyn could step back next round, drop his sword, take out his wand, and heal Lauranna. Due to 1 point of non-lethal and fey foundling she should heal 1d8+4 which will definitely bring her back to consiousness.

Dylph can retreat and slam the doors.

Dylph, if you accept the rage you will get a free attack this round. The attack can go before you move. I don't see a downside to it, do you?

@Lorqinor, your blast would do the same damage vs them as it does vs the brute. I will also give you this, the brutes touch AC is lower than the hound's

@Lauranna, Dylph would close the door after Syllyn healed you. So, you have line of sight, but the pedestal would provide some cover.

Lorqinor, I'm not overly familiar with the kineticist class, so just to ensure I have your tally right...

Heat Adaptation
You are constantly protected by endure elements against hot temperatures only. You gain an amount of fire resistance equal to twice your current amount of burn.

Grants you 2 Fire Resistance.

The 1 burn gives you 2 NL damage that can't be healed until you sleep.

Krant is unconscious.

A 17 would have hit his Ranged Touch AC even with the -4 for firing into melee combat. However, you needed a reflex save for the AoE fire damage. If you had failed the Save, you would have been unconscious and bleeding out, so your attack wouldn't have gone off.

Due to that, I used your d20 roll from the attack for your Reflex save which was a success to take only half damage and still be up. Then rather than delay, I rolled the d20 for your attack to see if you hit Krant. The 10 missed (barely) because of the -4 for firing into melee.

He's being kind. He could have used that 10 as your reflex roll (he requested it in his turn summary and had to make it for you when you failed to roll it) and you would have been unconscious and never gotten a chance to attack. Also, it is typically expected that rolls be made in the order requested/needed which meant that the ST should have been the first roll you made.

Unless I am not understanding your point? What are you saying should have been done?

I don't think you need to worry. He has dropped a few hints that we would just be captured and made to scrub toilets or something. Annoying as that may be.I just don't want anyone to bleed out. We can still win this. A channel will bring Lorq (you) up. Yellow might fall to the scream. The herald is the main issue left.

I don't think he can hear you from the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I personally think he should flank and stab people. The bow attack got deflected. But look what my tactics got me. Poor Purnel, he should not have rushed in. Oh well.

Yellow doesn't have deflect. I would assume Dylph would shoot an arrow at yellow. Not sure what he would do regarding Egarthis in the near future.

I believe Eggy was the one that deflected the arrow, not yellow. Thus my suggestion he use the bow on yellow. All his feats are in ranged combat, so I'm not sure how a sneak attack will work out, particularly since Syllyn is currently disarmed and will not be supplying anyone a flank.

The halfling can do it. I am hesitant to run another person's character especially if they die. Did that once and it caused all kinds of heart ache.

This rounds botting has been done, right? I thought I saw that GM Repete kindly did the honors. I am not exactly sure how to bot...is there a way to make it look like Dylph's picture verses Purnel's??? I would hate to have to create a dummy profile. I still have the pregen I uses two years ago clogging up my character list.

I'm not sure anyone has botted yet this round (and I don't actually have the time just now to look), but sure you can create an alias called--I don't know--"My Other Silly Disguise", or "Bot McBotface" and give it Dylph's picture (probably by searching for orcs and half-orcs to narrow the field). Then when we are safe you describe how Dylph hands all of his valuables over to Purnel for safe-keeping. It's as easy as pi. ;)

Botting is normally done under your own alias. You just say that you are botting the character in your text. No big deal.

Syllyn is quite right, though I do have an alias specifically for botting I tend to use.

It helps my brain keep things separated when someone has stated they'll be gone for x time period.
