It is what it is.

Nigel and Florence find themselves inside a crate, in complete darkness. They can hear talking, and feel the swaying of the ocean, but don't know much more than that.

Alexa, Maximillion, and Jim are all below deck on a ship, overhearing conversation from others anxious to join in the tournament on Thrashbone Isle. There's quite an assortment of races and people in general present on board, and all seem to be getting along fine except maybe the drunk orc and the dwarf brawling near the stairs.

"I'll gut you before you step foot on land ever again!" The dwarf exclaims, whilst hitting the orc upside the head with a hammer.

Jim rocks in a chair in as center the boat as he can. He clearly looks uncomfortable being out at sea, and is holding a simple grey polished stone in his hand. He occasionally fiddles with it and holding to his brow even. "Dwarves weren't meant for the sea dammit I can barely keep anything down, and the these wooden planks don't substitute for the real ground in the slightest." He mutters out

A black furred catfolk is laying in a cot that gently seems to rock back and forth with the ship. She is gripping onto her gear which is currently packed up in a backpack, while appearing to be very sea sick and worried.

how big is the ship? (how many masts)

Is very confused to why I am in a box.

I teleport the box 35ft into the air, just the box, not the contents. "That's better, now, where are we?"

At the moment of being freed from the box, I begin a wiggle dance.

preform: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

The ship has 3 masts. The crate reappears above the deck, landing just in time to startle a crew mate. A drunkard looks straight at the squirrel and addresses him thus:

"YOU CAN TALK?! AGHHHH"

Male Scur Incanter | 7th Level | HP 59/59 | Spell Points 16 | AC 20 TAC 17 FF 16 | CMB+1 CMD 15 | F+6 R+8 W+8 | INIT+13 | PERC+8

"Yes I can, what's it to you? I glare at him.

"It's not too normal for squirrels to talk where I'm from. WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY CRATE? WHERE IS IT? I see all my stuff still here but my crate is missing." He tries to grab the squirrel amidst all his drunken mumbling.

Grapple Check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20

He then places the squirrel upon his shoulder. "You were first going to be a treat for my dog, but now that I know you can talk, you can be his friend instead. And this moving flower here, can it talk?" *pokes the dancing flower*

"blegh" The Catfolk groggily looks at the squirrel and plant. "A talking squirrel and a dancing plant. CATFOLK AREN'T MEANT TO BE ON BOATS! I KNEW I'D CATCH SEA MADNESS!" she tumbles halfway out of the cot in her frantic behavior "should have never agreed to this."

"Sea Madness? I'm mad at the sea alright" He chuckles and then it grows into to a laugh as he thinks about his dumb comment

I begin to wiggle in a very hypnotic manner:

Casting Powerful Charm Sleep on the man who poked me
Arithmancy to increase my caster level by 1:
Spell craft DC to beat to succeed is 10+0+3
Spell craft: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23

It succeeds and increases my caster level by 1

His will save to resist is 10+4+8 = 22
if he fails his will save, he is asleep until he something damages him or someone tries to wake him, he then gets to retry his will save with a + 4 bonus.

If no saves are made, and nobody ever tries to wake him up, he is asleep permanently.

I hang my head low as I get up from my chair and walk over to the two brawling next to the stairs placing a hand on both their shoulders "You two must not fight now. save your strength for the arena! If your quarrel will not end here you will have to face the might-" My words trail off as my right arm grabs the left shoulder of my top. Letting it easily fly off my body as if the clothing was made for it as I stand there showing off my my red dragonkin skin in a practiced flex to try and show off my might "Of Maximillion Crimsoncharge of the Famous Crimsoncharge line!"

intimidate: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13

Will Save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
"Interesting little jig you've got there mate," the drunkard says to the flower.

The dwarf turns towards Maximillion, looks him up and down, then laughs, only to be caught off guard by the drunk orc with a chair to the back of his head.

I take a moment after being placed upon the drunkard's shoulder to assess the situation. The moment Florence begins dancing in a new way, I immediately teleport back to the ground next to him.

I stop dancing and begin to ruffle my leafs, infuriated at the man.

I begin a very angry looking dance:

destructive blast targeting the drunkard who touched me.

Spending a spell point to change damage to 1d6 per caster level.

Arithmancy to add +1 to caster level

DC for spell craft check is 10 + 3 + 2 (destructive blast = 56 = 11 = 2)

spell craft: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19

It succeeds, increasing my caster level by 1

Caster level is: 7 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 15

Sacred Geometry success

Intensify Spell to drop my casting range from long to close, taking the range reduction to increase my caster level by 1 per 1 step. +2 increase, effective caster level of 17

This spell is cast as a standard action

roll to hit against touch AC with Intensified Spell, Maximized Empowered Empowered Destructive blast: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
If it hits the damage is, ((17*6+8)*1.5)*1.5 = 247

I do another practiced pose. holding my chest high as I hear the dwarf laugh as though I took it as a complement before frowning as he takes a chair to the back of the head "Have A taste of bloodline then!"

I say as I proc corrosive on my gloves and make a swing for the orc

roll to hit: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

if hit:
attack: 3d10 + 6 ⇒ (10, 2, 1) + 6 = 191d6 ⇒ 5

What is going on on the upper portion of the boat? top deck? what did that idiot captain call it? He scrapes the chair loudly to the wall of the boat, and stands up. He walks with a hand pressed against the wall to see what's going on. Rustret tries to avoid looking at the sea surrounding him, and focus's on what's going on around him.

The kind confused drunkard immediately loses a large portion of his face, and collapses as a still steaming corpse.

The dwarf lays unconscious on the ground. The orc takes the swing full-on, and staggers back a little bit whilst groaning from the acid damage. He screams something unintelligible, then readies the axe from his back.

The boat lurches violently.
Make acrobatics checks to stay on your feet.

Orc Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
The orc remains stable.

I smile to the strike before readying myself as I watch the orc pulls out his axe "A cheap shot deserves an even swifter hit from a man born of excellence!" I flex again while still keeping my guard up as I ready my power attack before the boat tries to jerk me from my stance

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (12) + 13 = 25

I attempt to steady myself against the boat's sudden movement.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

I fail

Jim attempts to stay on his feet
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

Nigel falls, the rest remain stable.

The orc screams, then swings his axe at Maximillion, provoking the readied attack.

Attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (15) + 12 = 27

If Hit:

Dmg: 1d8 + 1d8 + 1d8 + 7 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (3) + (4) + (7) + 7 + 7 + 4 = 32

Jim manages to catch himself with a sigh, and then a spattering of curses linger in the air as he grabs the edge of the ship to keep himself stable. "I hate this boat i hate this boat. If I don't die i'm never steppin' on a boat again"

I swing my fist in a power attack against the Orc

attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16

If hit:
Dmg: 3d10 + 11 ⇒ (4, 1, 6) + 11 = 22

Jim puts a hand to his stomach feeling uneasy, and yells at one of the crewmen "Oi! what the hell is this thing doing turning about like it is? Can't you do something about this?

One of the mates mopping around the stairs responds. "You've never been to Thrashbone Isle have you? The waters around the cape are pretty treacherous. If you can't handle it here I'm not sure you'll make it too far in the tourney, I'm afraid."

The orc takes the hit, and seems quite damaged, but he's more than willing to swing his axe once more in a frenzied chop against Maximillion.

"I've had enough of this cot and this water and this boat, I'm going to find the captain, No use letting the Nature get me down, I'm going to kick natures ass!". I Collect My belongings Before making a Quick survey of the Deck for the Captain.

Percpetion: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16

and if that fails ask a few crew members.

Diplo-Gather-intel: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (7) + 14 = 21

This technically would take 1d4 hours but would be used to survey something the size of a city and ask around several taverns, so I think that we can shorten that to 4d6 minutes or so.

Nigel:
Thrashbone Isle, the peninsula off the mainland of the continent of Bordov, is infamous for its nearly insurmountable surrounding currents and vicious sea life. Its location made it the perfect place to play host to Thrashbone Prison, which held the strongest and most heinous criminals on the south coast of the continent. Sadly, that prison had been damaged during a war with the Lords of Alsahm, and quite a few escaped. The government stepped in, re-establishing the prison, though a handful of criminals remain at large. In recent years, the Isle has been voted as a perfect spot for powerful warriors to gather; most criminal activity has dissipated due to the crowd the tournament beckons.

The man mopping the stairs answers once more: "If it's m'Captain you're looking for, you'll find him in his quarters, upstairs, stern and center. Though I reckon you'll have to be quite impressive to see 'im."

Also, if Maximillion would like to continue his fight against the orc, he may do so.

Female Catfolk 4 Daring Champion(Cavalier) | Panache 4/4 | HP 58/58 | AC 27 18 20 | CMB +8 CMD 23 | F+8 R+9 W+6 | INIT +5 | PERC +14

I thank the man for his time before making my way for the captain's quarters, trying to understand exactly what he meant by that last part.

As you approach the captain's quarters, you take note of two large, rather muscular men standing guard outside by the center door, and some sort of laughter and merriment audible from outside.

Male Scur Incanter | 7th Level | HP 59/59 | Spell Points 16 | AC 20 TAC 17 FF 16 | CMB+1 CMD 15 | F+6 R+8 W+8 | INIT+13 | PERC+8

"Interesting, Thrashbone Isle..." I ponder out loud. I can only imagine what this boat is headed there for. Florence and I may be in for a treat.

I continue to wiggle, timing my wiggles with the ship's rocking.

wiggle:
wiggle

"oh i'm sure I can handle some creatures, monsters, and obstacles. The is a force of nature, heck it is nature, and not so easily persuaded not to drown you." He grumbles out to the man he thought was being a smart ass.
