Marius will wait until tomorrow,but he will claim the bodies of the two other dead lamias for raising. Then the next day Marius will use some mythic power to raise them both as his undead servants. "I'll be right back guys."

Preparing Animate Dead (cleric and mythic), and Haste (wizard) twice tomorrow. Then Marius will spend 2 mythic points to cast mythic animate dead, and then another 2 mythic points to augment each spell so that Marius doesn't have to pay the spell component cost. Marius can animate 18 HD per cast and will animate each lamia as a 12 HD fast zombie.

Marius will then return with his two brand spanking new meat shields. "What do ya think of them?"

Logos glares at the undead, and his amulet flashes. "I think they need to be ripped apart..." He growls...

Given the ankh is anti-undead, and Logos's natural alignment, I'm going to assume undead is not something Logos likes.

The Hadj struggles to contain Sheeba, rapidly choosing to simply take her away from the area where the monsters are. He uses Totem Transformation to morph into a psuedo-canine, so he can speak with canines and explain to the big wolf that these strange new allies will protect us and fight for the party. The two companions review some cues that Hadjii uses, when he cannot speak with animals, to indicate to Sheeba who to attack and who to leave alone...

when he returns:

"The power of Nethys can be used in some rather unexpected ways, Mr Bergan! I see the value of these monstrous beings used to our advantage -- and I appreciate the irony! But we'll need a way to prevent more pedestrian folk from getting... riled up, shall we say? Such monsters -- and undead in general -- are readily attacked in most communities..."

He guides Sheeba to get calmly acquainted with the tamed fiends:

"I am aware of a city far north of here, across the Inner Sea -- Kaer Maga it is called -- where servants are routinely crafted from undead: it is accepted practice there! But in these lands, with Geb to the south being notoriously overrun by zombies and foul undeath, we must be sensitive to the potential reactions from concerned citizens..."

Marius seems a little disappointed in Logos. "Hey, they are just serving some community service for all the evil deeds they have committed. If they aren't destroyed by the time we stop this plot involving the pharaoh I shall personally see to it that they are given a nice grave."

Marius orders the zombies to lift their tails so that Sheeba can sniff their behinds if that's what's needed for Sheeba to get comfortable.

"I just woke up today prayed to Nethys and he said he wanted some undead servants, so I made him a few. Don't worry about the pedestrians though these two can handle themselves."

My god...

Seeing what the Cleric is becoming Calla quickly changes her mind. "Ok, let's get you on your way, Ashmenak and Male elf (seriously, we don't know his name). Can you use one of this?" She shows them the scrolls of teleport. "According to my counts we have here basically 120 thousand worth of equipment from this incursion, plus some of the scrolls we see here. Dividing by 8 equals a share of 15k each." Yes, it seems she shamelessly included Sheeba in the count, but she is doing that as a professional merchant, of course. "According to nowadays prices, if you would take 9 of those falchions and all those magical intelligence headbands, that would be worth basically 30,687 gold pieces. That is considering prices to sell it at any moment. If you are patient and skilled you can get up to double that, as they would be sold for 4k each headband in a store, and by 2.4k each falchion. Plus you are using the scroll of teleport, which is a masterpiece too. A good deal for you, and we each our own ways, meeting again if fate permits."

"Logos traveling alone in town is dangerous I got attacked by cultists and what's to say we won't encounter more in the cities we visit? We should travel together. Besides, if it really seems like we'll have a lot of trouble with the undead then we can put on a show of defeating them and we will be heroes, and I won't lose control of them they're mindless."

Marius then stops Calla from just giving away the scroll of teleport.

"You realize that we will have to use both scrolls for everyone here to get back safely right? I won't even be able to bring my undead there because of how limited we are on bringing people. They'll just be here guarding this place until we teleport back."

Calla nods to the bully. "Yes. I don't think returning to town is an option. Each of these scrolls transport only 3 people plus the caster. One of us would stay behind, if we choose to go back to town. In any case, we have the other one we acquired from the merchant."

We have three scrolls of teleport right now, and on level 10 I'll be able to tele us all (Sheeba's figurine doesn't count, right?).

Calla is just having fun at the discussion. She was waiting for the moment when the GM would come and tell them that the bodies of the Lamias are no more, since they exploded in a burst of harmful energy after death. But, since it took too long for him to mention it, and Calla wants the group not to kill themselves, she mentions the obvious.

"Huh, hello? There are no bodies for you to animate, sweetie."

"Now, we indeed have a lot of things to sell, and maybe we can buy other stuff. Still, I don't think we should give our enemies more time to prepare. If we take too long they will know we're coming, although then we will come stronger."

Indeed the Lamia's bodies are nomore but there are some cultist that forgot to trigger there exploding body technique..

When Marius returns with the undead Logos' amulet begins to glow bright blue..

Logos:

The amulet is urging you to destroy to undead.. If you refuse you need to make a will save.

The ranger/rogue seem shocked by the admittance/acceptance of undead into the group and quickly gather their portion of the treasure and are ready to do.. "Any city will do, we care not.."

No sooner than Logos gets the sentence out of his mouth his eyes glaze over red and he springs to attack the undead abominations!

The two lamia's that we encountered at the beginning of this area were never described as having blown up. Just shot full of arrows and stabbed once or twice. If they did blow up then Marius would just animate the desert giants that were at the beginning area.

Marius sighs as Logos gives into his base urges and attacks his undead minions.

"Oh come on they haven't even done anthing yet. How am I supposed to prove that undead are not so bad when everyone tries to kill them the moment they see them?"

Marius doesn't tell his minions to defend themselves as he doesn't harm teamates.

Once the undead things are destroyed, Logos's amulet stops glowing, and his eyes also stop glowing. He stands in the remains of the shattered bones, and looks around, panting hard.

"Hehhhhh... that's new..." He comments, sounding mildly surprised. "Until.. we figure out... why... I would not... make more..." He shakes his head as if clearing out cobwebs. Then shrugs it off. He's kind of use to losing control...

"Splitting up to quickly sell items isn't a bad idea..." He says once the bout ends. "But not one person. I suggest two people go back with our found friends..." He nods at the ranger and rogue. "Who I'm sure will be willing to stay with us in town for a day, to help ensure everyone's safety? Theirs and ours? Enough time to buy and sell on the quick. The other three can begin heading toward our next destination, and the two in town teleport to them after the shopping trip."

Hadjii will assume Earth Elemental form again, and look into the room with the big snake -- just sticking his head in and out for a few seconds -- to see if he can spot other entrances to that chamber:

I think we should set aside some masks to attempt to disguise ourselves as cultists if everyone else agrees. Marius would also like to get rid of his mithral chain shirt if anyone wants that.

Marius will mediate for an hour before the fight and have all of his spells back ready to fight the snake.

I assume this fight happens before Marius animates the dead the next day, so he has the same spell list just refreshed.
