As the team is about to attempt Air Walk manuvers Hemket notices there is some sort of trap a foot with the pit. It's not diarmable but he's pretty sure something gonna happen if you move over that pit..

When the eagle flies over the pit some unseen force smashes it into the cieling.. Crumpled, the eagle falls into the pit and out of sight.

A dispel magic could work, as well as teleport etc.. Spidee climb possibly.. You could even fly over it, but with a steep fly check.

No climb rolls are necc.. You feel a tug upwards but your stickiness gets you across..

With the party safely over the pit you keep moving down the tunnel.. It feels like forever as you make four more turns, all to the right before you end up at a huge stone blocking the tunnel.. It feels like the tunnels are at a slight downslope as well, barely noticable, but it appears you are going deeper in the earth.

Hemket makes his way back to the glyph.. Upon standing on it he can't tell if anything happens, but it does glow brightly for a few momnets before going dim.

Back at the stone it starts to slowly lower into the floor.. It takes about a min to fully sink and then it starts coming back up at the same slow pace..

With a high perc check you could perhaps here that.. You are approx 20' above the location and several turns of stone hallways.

The door reaches the bottom and starts moving back up and still no Hemket.. You have 30 seconds or so before you would have to do it again.. Or use teleport magic to bypass the door..

Hadjii will examine the stone and the opening for a latch that keeps it from sealing back up...

Hadjii's Perception check: 1d20 + 27 ⇒ (17) + 27 = 44

he'll also pull out his wand of <Stone Shape>, and attempt to put a groove through the surface that would allow him to filter through as an air elemental (if it works, he can go back and re-trigger, then flow through when he returns...)

Hadjii is able to make a hole through the stone, but it is not large enough for yall togo through.. With a few more castings you think it would be possible though.

As yall talk about going or waiting the stone slowly makes it back to its starting position blocking the passage..
