You guys arrive at the destination you see..

A thundering, hissing roar echoes along the trench here, as if from a cascade of water tumbling over a cliff. Yet this cascade is no normal waterfall—it is a wall of falling sand churning over the edge and dropping down into the trench below, turning the trench wall into a constantly churning wall of grit and dust. There is no apparent source of the sand above and no evidence of sand accumulating.

You saw it clearly when it attacked.. It looks very similiar to the rock guy statue you guys found in the chest, except its huge in size..

Know Planes for anyone over 20 perception..

You have the squares yes, but when you fire your arrows are deflected by the sand, not making it through.. Book gives it stats of Hurricane Force winds to move or shoot through it..

I think this works because he's moving from the square in front of me that I threaten, into the square I occupy...

As the elemental charges into Khufu's square in his overrun attack, Khufu burns an immediate action to burn one point of mythic power and use Cage Enemy to stop its overrun.

Cage Enemy:
You can pin enemies foolish enough to face you. As an immediate action, you can expend one use of mythic power to hinder opponents until the end of your next turn. When this ability is active, any creature moving out of one of your threatened squares, even when making a 5-foot step or using a form of movement that doesn't usually provoke attacks of opportunity, provokes an attack of opportunity from you. If your attack of opportunity hits and deals damage, the creature remains in its current space and its movement ends. Alternatively, you can expend one use of mythic power as part of a charge. If the charge attack hits, the target can't move itself from its space until the beginning of your next turn (though others can move the creature).

the movement from the square in front of me into my square provokes under Cage Enemy, so I think he never leaves that square and stops right in front of me.


Everyone, might be worth noting that in the overrun description it talks about how you can choose to dodge out of the way of the elemental. Might be worth looking into.

With some sort of titanic effort Khufu is able to stop the charging elemental before he can overrun half the party memebers.. He does so by smacking it across the shin. Amarantha casts a buff spell, and Hadjii summons in reinforecements..
