Red's suggestion for searching for rumours was on the premise we kinda already done most things and was trying to generate ideas on how to progress through the story without much to go on. But the GMs latest post kinda supersedes all that now!

Out of curiosity, what level would Edmund need to get to in order to play out the next book of the AP. I am looking at my GM credits and seeing if I can get him there to keep the story going.

The next book picks up at level 5

Level 5 is impossible for Andor to reach even with GM credit. But maybe one of his siblings will be 5th level then.

GM, can you anticipate when we will end this part of the AP?

I think I will end up being short as well, unfortunately. I have a character that I can bring in- but I like the continuity/story arc of playing through with the same character.

I'll be flexible with the official start time of book 2, in case you have GM babies in process of coming to this world... :P (not exactly sure but I think the official start time of Gameday VII part 2 is mid-October)

I'm in the same boat as Edmund! enough credits to get me to 4.1, but i'm running for my Sunday group murder's mark, so if this scenario gives me tier 3 credit, I can apply the Murder's Mark as tier 2 credit to just get me to level 5.

NOTE2: please also specify which weapon/item is held in your PC's hands, even if it's just 'empty hand / natural attack ready' :)

Alright. I am sucking it up and adding a Gameday session to get me one closer. I don't think I have the bandwidth for more than that... so I just need to find one additional live game to run between now and book 2.

I'm switching PCs to a 7th level cleric.

I am also switching the character to Zaarah Katsu, a Grand Lodge Pathfinder.

Andor's sister who wants to understand the connection to their father's bloodline better. Andor will ask her to step in as Andor's face is too well known around Kintargo. Andor will of course brief Zaarah properly.

She is also a follower of Chaldira but her alignment is N and she is a little crazy. She will be be a Female Kitsune

Good news! I have enough GM credits to get Edmund to level 5 before starting book #2. The last piece to that puzzle is a PBP that I am running right now that will likely end middle of Sept (part of game day). After that, Edmund will get to hang around Kintargo a little bit longer!

Is there a big gap in the story for PFS sanctioned content between book 1 and 2?

book 1: we skipped part 1 via campaign intro doc (very strange IMO: they should have included part 1 and removed part 2 instead... part 2 was way too sandboxy for PFS)
book 2: haven't looked yet

I think we'll take a break before book 2. I don't expect starting until mid-September.

If you have a way that we can play some of the story between here and book two PFS content I would prefer that. In fact, from a continuity standpoint I would rather run the first half without PFS credit if it meant that we get to run the whole story (and not lose character autonomy)

My issue is that my PFS character level 5 will really only be available mid September.

Andor forges ahead and thinks he can see a... stream? with grass, bushes and trees... he also sees the monks speed towards the stream until he no longer has line of sight to them.

Andor has already posted actions for both Round 4 and 5, so he is not bolded this time around.

GM, I have two questions:

1. are they moving away from us / fleeing in the direction of the stream?
2. could Andor have retrieved a tanglefoot bag as part of his action in round 5 as a move action?

Sorry GM, one more question that is a little metagaming: if a PC continues to the next part of the AP - can that PC keep the items they received during the chronicle as temporary gear also in part 2 of the AP or is now the time to use all those great potions and alchemical items we received as they will be gone after this encounter?

No: you don't bring temp items into Book 2. End of Book 1 grants you gold that is effectively the sales worth of the temp gear. Which is why you can bring new PC into book 2...
