Hey there!! You and Rysky are both new to PFS, actually. We should have a good mix. :)
Also, "Day Job" here refers to a roll you get to make at the end of the scenario to make some extra gold if you have ranks in a Craft, Perform, or Profession skill. I'm not sure what the Profession (Programmer) skill looks like in Pathfinder, but I'm sure you could figure it out!

Hey everyone! Glad to have the chance to play with some of my experienced players on the other side of the screen. My character for this exciting scenario is going to be ... *drum roll* ... him! A human, Taldan swashbuckler. A young lordling trying to put his skills to test within the PFS. He's also a confirmed agent, so you'd better watch out! :D

I think I'll create a new character since I haven't looked at any of my PFS characters in a couple years. PFS ID is 93831. Rest is uh, pending. Will have something up today or tomorrow.
Martials are fairly popular and always welcome. PFS games generally reward having broader capabilities and more emphasis on skill use than, say, your typical AP.
Another thing to note is that you may completely rebuild your character and refund all the equipment you buy (except consumables) before 2nd level. So if you don't like your build (or even class, race, etc.) you can change it between scenarios until you okay the character at level 2 for the first time.
I have mostly martial characters who tend to have a few tricks: paladin, inquisitor, kineticist, bloodrager, etc. Maybe something like that would be versatile and fun for you? :3
I've been working on an arcanist, but have no problem switching to something else if anyone else wants to make an arcane type.
Okay, think I'm done. Or need to stop so I don't completely redo her another five or six times... at least until I know if anyone else wants to play a spellcaster instead.

I'm going to play a shaman since I've never really dealt with that class and am intrigued. Just gotta... parse the eighty billion build options available to me.

Iff here. I've gone and done something a bit cheeky. I had a character with two chronicles under his belt that I wasn't happy with, so I'm going to rebuild him into something that seems well-suited to this scenario, and is a bit of a callback to those who are playing Council of Thieves with me.
Till will be a Bard with the Masked Performer archetype. He's an actor, originally from Westcrown, who has left the country. He's not (at this moment) a full-time member of the Pathfinder Society, but will claim to be hired on some missions for his knowledge of Cheliax, or that he called in some favors to tag along and build experience for his next role in the opera. In reality, he's been in contact with Colson Maldris and will do what he can - unnoticed - to support the Liberty's Edge faction. His most successful role so far is of a daring adventurer, and he'll use that persona to contribute useful things during the time he's with the Pathfinder Society.
I'll work out the details over the coming days. Should be fun.

Working on the fluff and familiar, but the concept is a young, literally starry-eyed half-orc woman who is a Shaman with the Heavens spirit. The idea is a character who is a weird paradox of a conduit for the infinite wisdom of the heavens, and also a kind of youthful, exuberant, slightly wild, and sweet-natured teenager.

I'd request all of you to read that, because it'll put in perspective the way that I make Till come across. For now, think a cross between Chris Hemsworth and Gaston (from Beauty and the Beast).

Yup! There is an abstract/indeterminate amount of time between scenarios, so it's assumed you will do your "Day Job" after the adventure. You generally roll it at the end in face-to-face games, but we can do it early in this format. It will essentially add a little bit of extra gold on top of what you'll get normally on your chronicle sheet.

Sadly, Kindness isn't an option for Id Rager. The 8 options are listed in the archetype description and there was no update in Psychic Anthology (as opposed to Fractured Mind, which was updated).
Um, PA specifically says it works with Id.
In addition, a bloodrager with the id rager archetype (Pathfinder Player Companion: Occult Origins 23) can select kindness as his emotional focus.

Yup, looks like it all checks out and all of that is legal. This is the only id rager specification from the PFS campaign clarifications:
An id rager gains only the emotional focus abilities of a phantom, not the base abilities of a phantom, such as slam attacks and armor bonuses.
Edit: now I just have to go read up on what all of that does. It sounds neat, though!
