Jerem glances down, embarrassed. "I'm not ready to die a hero. I decided to hide in this empty sarcophagus until help arrived."
Jerem sees Bishop over by the narrow passage at the west end of the Hall of Heroes. "That's the way I came in."
He shakes his head at Hanlin's and Lord Braggett's questions. "I didn't see much, but I heard the axe-devil telling the others to help her find another way out the Catacombs."

Searching through the Hall of the Honored, the party establishes that nothing significant in the room has been disturbed.
Having studied Jerem's map, the party enters the series of sarcophagus chambers. A nervous Jerem, following the party near the back with Erlathan, explains, "Important or wealthy citizens of Arwyll Stead sometimes wish to be interred in sarcophagi rather than have their bodies cremated."
Each sarcophagus bears an inscription that details the name of the deceased, the years of the deceased’s birth and death, and a short epitaph.
Enough of them have been damaged to keep you on your toes, alert to possible danger.
A small, childlike blasphemy conjoining the features of a plump human infant and a gigantic, gore-fattened fly emerges from the southwestern sarcophagus room. It's about two feet tall and might weigh about 25 pounds. Its wings make a soft buzzing sound, and it licks its lips.

"There's no need for such strong language, Lady Brightspark." Lord Braggett calls as he rides by, "We shall all get a chance at cracking this piñata, of that you have my word!" He then urges Kibble to run through the devil, laughing all the way.
Overrun: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
___
I just realised, both Kibble and Braggett have the same CMB. If successful I'd like to end up on the opposite side of the Zebub, but this provokes an AoO.
The first time Kibble is hit in a round, Braggett will use the Mounted Combat feat, and as an immediate action to try and negate any damage. The hit is negated if the Ride check result is greater than the opponent's attack roll.
Ride Check (Mounted Combat): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
For the first two adjacent allies (including Braggett) who are targeted for an attack, Kibble will use the Bodyguard feat to use an AoO and boost their AC.
Aid another (AC) | DC 10: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
Aid another (AC) | DC 10: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22

When the accuser devil retreats westward down the corridor, Nina hesitates, unsure of her next move.
Lord Braggett urges Kibble to overrun the fiend. The wolf rolls its eyes, but attempts the maneuver anyway. With a howl that sounds like a frustrated curse, Lord Bragget's mount pulls up short, just as he reaches the zebub. The devil tries to bite him for his troubles, drooling acid on the wolf's coiffured pelt.
Bite; Damage plus Acid: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 141d6 + 1d6 ⇒ (3) + (5) = 8
Hanlin draws his wand and utters a command word, casting bless on everyone within his line of effect. (Everybody except Vegazi, Nina and Inky)

"You cannot outrun a magical missile, fiend!" Erlathan shouts down the hallway. "Well, I suppose you could... BUT YOU DIDN'T!"

"Strong language??? Oh boy, if he thinks that's strong then wait until he hears you after you've had a few too many..." Inky groans as they await the proper moment to make their move.
_______
Still delaying, heh.

Bishop moves up right behind Braggett and Kibble. Knowing he cannot get past both them and creature he throws his silver dagger at the grotesque creature.
Thrown silver dagger, vs in combat: 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 6 - 4 = 3
damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
