Seems like the Paizo servers were FUBAR'd this weekend? I had trouble getting anywhere on the messageboards.

It is nice to be able to split the party without having people sitting around doing nothing for half an hour. One other tool PBP has for situations like this is that we could have broken the different groups down with spoilers, so that the people in the kitchen wouldn't know what's going on upstairs, and vice versa. I didn't find that necessary here, but it can be interesting in more high stakes situations.

Molos made his heal check, you or someone should investigate whatever Ular found, and Cara should maybe try some Diplomacy? Intimidate doesn't seem to be working...

I do have actually run this once as first game I ever run, never played it though.
I dunno, I could still try hexing. Though I'm not sure, does hexing require lot of noise? xD Eh, I guess I could live without trying to charm, but I'm just worried of whether I should have picked other hex first... Charm to my understanding isn't really helpful in combat :'D

I feel like we have all the pieces, we just need to put together the picture. Can you read back through and summarize what we've found out?

Going on a hunch here, it's possible she is being strong armed by some thugs for money to pay for the orphanage, or can't really afford all the of the building's expenses. So for both cases, Balwin is using the kids to transport drugs from somewhere out of town, and they are getting sick from it.

I've played/GMed this adventure several times before, so I'm mostly keeping my mouth shut. Given that Molos is an anti-social PC, it kinda fits.
FYI, I'm actually busy with a gaming convention this weekend, so won't have as much time to check in here. Just played two sessions of PFS (one as GM, one as a player) today. I'm signed up for 3 sessions tomorrow, but I've decided to blow off the morning session. 8 AM is just too early, especially given that it's a 40 minute drive from home.
So I'll check in tomorrow morning, but then not again until close to midnight here, kinda like today.

Well, from a PC standpoint, I failed my checks against the orphans, so I think from a RP standpoint Cara would be miffed, but probably like, 'well, I tried what I know', and would just move on. As you probably noted, she's been encouraged to have a rather dim view of Ollysta to begin with, so she's more looking to have fun and cause a bit of mischief, than to represent the Silver Crusade.
Dunno how that will play out in end-of-scenario rewards.

Okay, I guess I can now partly comment
I would like to point out that she is essentially taking advantage of child labor. Even if you don't think that is bad, well, the work distance is like... Well, Absalom is biggest city on Inner Sea IIRC. Baltwin's orphanage is on eastgate. She has sent little kids work on westgate. Yeaaaaaaaaaah, thats a lot of walking.

Raharjo doesn't care much either(besides doing his job), but I'm as player curious since I thought child labor was frowned upon everywhere ._. Though admittedly, I'm not sure if people in Golarion would care, but I figured out its easy as player to forget how big city Absalom is supposed to be
Well, that and I'm still amused by one thing, but going to comment on that later xD
