While some OOC comments make sense in the gameplay thread, feel free to use this for notice of expected absence, "cross-talk," or other posts not directly relevant to the IC thread.
Any questions not directly related to scenario content should go here as well.
The "How to format your text" section below explains all the various forum tags. Bold is commonly used for speech.

The full list is in the PFS Roleplaying Guild Guide, but you get up to two prestige per scenario depending on how well you complete your missions. You can spend 1 Prestige Point to acquire a single item worth 150gp or less, or 2 PP for a single item worth up to 750gp.
I (and many other people) usually spend my first two Prestige of a character on a wand of Cure Light Wounds and then save up enough PP to have raise dead cast in case I die. After that I might buy a vanity or two from one of the softcover books.

Continuing the discussion here about buying gear before starting, instead of in the game play discussion.
The whole point of Molos (mechanically) is to be an AC tank without wearing a shield, so he can still use a two handed weapon. Besides the breastplate, I'm also considering using the level 1 rebuild rules to switch feats and take Dodge immediately, instead of waiting for level 2. I originally took Weapon Focus, because I know hitting at low level is sometimes hard, but I should probably focus more on my theme, getting the defensive feats first, and just use "spare" feats on offense.
That's especially true if I get the masterwork greatsword, since that will make up for losing Weapon Focus. I just don't know if I want to blow the 2 prestige on it. I already spent my first 2 prestige on a wand of Cure Light. I usually like to save the 5 prestige points for body recovery if a PC dies, but I've kinda given up on always saving the 16 for a Raise Dead. By the time you reach the level of having that many saved up, saving the money for it isn't that bad. I think I'd rather get extra items early, like this sword.
So I think I may have talked myself into upgrading the sword, armor, and taking Dodge.

You could make the sword cold iron if you want to get a little more out of the prestige points.
Nah. Would cost too much to upgrade to magical later.
I went with chain mail instead of breastplate. Same AC, saves some cash. I don't really care about the armor check penalty.

Umm, so if I try to post in gameplay section, how should I introduce the character? I guess I'll just try something out and see if people want to chew me for that...
And if anyone has tips on what I forgot from my character's sheet or if I should buy him anything else, I'd be happy to hear that ^^; He has gm chronicle from pallid plague, so he had 757 gold at start. I got him light crossbow, two cure light wounds and shadow stencil kit. I'm not too sure about spells I have prepped or the ones I picked... Like I picked shadow weapon just to fit wayang's shadowiness, but I'm not sure if that one has any actual uses... Or if I should just not buy light crossbow and use shadow weapon spell instead, its not like I have any other good combat spells picked. Especially since I have so low strength I'm not going to hit anything with touch attacks and my familiar can't yet use touch spells ^^;

Any suggestions for an avatar? <_<; I was thinking of picking Guaril Karela's one if I can't find wayang one, but I then realized that faction leader(even if faction no longer exists) aren't probably available to everyone ^^;
I guess I could pick shadow one or something if I can't figure out anything else.
And umm... I'm not actually sure how to give avatar to PFS character alias? Where is option for changing that?

Your stats. It looks like, when you assigned your +2 racial bonus, you did it in a slightly inefficient way.
I think this is how you set up your array:
STR: 12 (+2)
DEX: 12
CON: 14
INT: 12
WIS: 12
CHA: 15
That costs 20 points. But if you had allocated the points like this:
STR: 14
DEX: 12
CON: 14
INT: 12
WIS: 12
CHA: 13 (+2)
You end up with the same result, but it only costs 19 points. Upping one of the 12s to a 13 would be the least disruptive way to do that, but if you'd like to make bigger changes, as we haven't started anything substantial yet you can do so quickly. As a general rule, if you have a floating +2 (like humans, half-elves, and half-orcs), it's (almost?) always most efficient to put it in the highest stat.

Hello everyone,
At the encouragement of Jesse Davis, the online VC, I wanted to share a bit of information about how some of the procedures will work for this, as every convention has slightly different policies, especially as this one is online.
Attendance: You are expected to actively participate in this scenario for its entire duration.
Naturally, real life frequently creates hurdles for gaming. If you expect there is a 48 hour period or more when you will be unable to post, please let me know. You won't be penalized for absences I'm informed about. Your character will likely be auto-piloted. If for some reason you will be unable to complete the scenario, please let me know as soon as possible, and we'll work to accommodate that.
If I don't hear from you in seven days or two encounters (whichever comes first), I reserve the right to remove you from the game. You will receive a chronicle with rewards appropriate for the portions of the scenario you participated in. If at least three encounters remain, a new player may be brought in, otherwise a pregen will step in.
Reporting and Chronicles: As soon as this scenario is done, I will report the results. Chronicles will most likely be uploaded to Google Drive, which will allow you to download and print them.
So that I'm not having to track people down after the fact, if I could get your characters' PFS numbers now, that would be great. This is what I have so far, though it's possible I overlooked you including your number in a post:
Boons and Prizes: Once we complete the scenario, I will make a post with one D20 roll for each player, as well as one for myself. No rerolls may be used here under any circumstances. Each result of a natural 1 or natural 20 will earn the right to select one of 7 convention boons. Race boons are not included in these selections. Text of boons will be provided to winners to allow for a decision to be made.
Additionally, every week, two players in the gameday will be randomly selected by Gameday coordinators to win a $5 Paizo gift card. One GM per week will be randomly selected to win a $10 gift card.
Please let me know if there are any questions about these policies.

Dravil: Just as a reminder, randomization of stats is not valid for PFS purposes. You should assign that remaining point to your character, as you are required to use all 20.
Tiger Claw has been given 24 hours to post in Gameplay/Discussion before being replaced. I'll be moving things along a little bit in that time, but not too far.

I did use my all my points, and used the point buy system as well. I shouldn't have used the word randomized. I often think up a character idea more often than stats and I'd have to do a lot of work to rewrite him up., thank you however for pointing it out.
My number for Dravil is 182184-4

Ok, I assume the fact that you're a non Core race and class means you're aware that change is irreversible and OK with that. The fact that its your -40 makes me more comfortable with that, as well as more comfortable with the realization that I'm rapidly approaching my -20.
But I will make a note of that for when I send the info to be reported (there's a centralized system for the gameday).

Happy Birthday! Have fun!
You guys are the most active table I'm involved in as a player or GM, which is great, as it means we're moving at a good pace, and you guys are taking advantage of the opportunity to get into character. I'm trying to keep things at a pace that gives everyone a chance to participate. If you do ever need me to slow down or speed up, let me know.
Also, I realized I hadn't included a token for Calcifer. I included one "off the table" for now, so you can place him when necessary (though he isn't summoned yet, correct?)
If anyone does need to add a token to the map (summoning seems the most likely cause), feel free to do so. You can go to Insert>Image if you have a picture you'd like to use (I tend to use Paizo avatars, as they're square, and have actual pictures of most of the creatures I need anyway). You can also use the less pretty, but perfectly viable, option of using the draw shape tool, and saying the green circle is a celestial eagle.
I'll use that method for Tiny foes, background objects, etc.

@Cara: Your amnesiac archetype doesn't apply to 0-level spells, btw. You'll want to pick all four of those
You are correct! Missed that, thanks!
