Felix you moved to the dead body and attacked it. And you were out of range to walk to the second kobold. Thankfully, your good roll was enough to do the job with a sling.

The Kobold stood over his trap and made his last stand, full of confidence. Until Hanzo came up behind him and scared him again. (Kobolds are notoriously frightful beings.) Following this, a vicious blob of pure magic enveloped the Kobold, nearly dropping him unconscious from the pain.

Felix, to far away to help with his sword, picks up a pebble from the riverbed and loads it into his sling. With a silent prayer, he lobs the rock high into the air and square into his enemy's skull. The Kobold drops, unconscious.

COMBAT OVER.

After checking the pockets of the bodies, you find some spare change but no items of value.

Take some time to recover, if you need it. After everyone checks in, I'll move us further down the tunnel unless someone objects.

The group heads back to the entrance, letting Uori know they took care of the kobolds on the way.

On the way back to the entrance, the party passes a small offshooting tunnel. From this tunnel they hear the faint sounds of combat and a familiar woman’s voice half-shouting and half-reciting, "As the legendary Gregaro Voth successfully battled the wild beasts in the deepest reaches of the Mwangi Expanse, so shall I defeat you, foul servant of Lamashtu!"

The route to the surface leads through a maze of tight passages that include steep ascents and short climbs as they wind from west to east. As the group travels, they can hear the sounds of a distant battle echoing through the caves, intermixed with inspirational tales of famous Pathfnders and their heroic deeds. +2 to damage and hit rolls for the next 7 rounds.

Suddenly, the light of the surface world above provides a welcome reprieve from the blue and green fungus of the caverns below, and light illuminates a stream whose water is hastened by runoff from a recent storm further up the mountains. A ledge to the west rises up to the nearby forest canopy. Nearly 100 feet from the cave’s entrance, Janira Gavix is locked in combat with her relentless minotaur foe in a clearing on the southern bank of the stream. Both fighters look heavily wounded from their chase, though Janira has taken the brunt of the blows.

Terrain: To the west is a gradual slope leading up to a 20 foot tall ridge with a commanding view of the battle field. The green area is dense undergrowth, and very hard to walk through. (Half movement) Hmmm... wasn't there an item in the bag that helped with this?...The trees in the undergrowth are young, so you can share space with them. However, they do make excellent line of sight blockers, so shooting through the forest will be difficult. Also, the river is moving fast. Very fast. There is a fallen log creating a bridge over the river, but it is wet and a little slippery.

Ystrizz runs toward the minotaur again, this time with feather step active.

My mobile app broke, I think the website updated. So... I'm posting now, while I'm at my computer.

Hanzo spooks in, but is not spooky enough, as the minotaur doesn't even seem to see him. Sirius, taking advantage of this supposed distraction, dives in. Alas, he was not acrobatic enough and the minotaur's blade cleaves in his rib cage. Sirius falls to the floor, unconscious. As the minotaur was swinging, Takega saw an opportunity he could not pass up. Performing perhaps the most foolish and final act of his life, he charges the minotaur dealing a massive blow to the monster's back. Unfortunately, grievous though his wounds were, he was still standing. Thankfully, the minotaur looked around and recognized that he was outnumbered and badly wounded. He turned and fled the battlefield into the forest. Takega, if you have a reach weapon, he triggers an AoO. Hanzo, if you can attack, it also triggers an AoO from you.

GM Rolls:

AoO: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
dmg: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (1, 4) + 4 = 9

fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17

Hanzo
Ystrizz
Takega -1/13
Horse 9/16
Sirius 0/9
Felix
Brundie
Janira -11/-12

As the battle ebbs to a close, Janira's pool of blood begins to look far to large. 1 round to save her.

Combat is over, but you all have 1 post until Janira dies.

Sirius is on his knees, the least mobile you have ever seen him, barely keeping it together as he concentrates on his breathing.

At 0 hit points, I am in fact still conscious, and can remain so so long as I don't take a standard action.

I will happily take that AoO, thank you very much!

Naginata (two handed), power attack, challenge bonus damage: 1d8 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 15

Now for my turn. Action economy is not my friend right now...

After striking the fleeing beast, Takega drops the naginata and guides Matsukaze to Janira's side.

Attempting to fast dismount as a free action, but requires a DC20 Ride check so I only have a 10% chance.

Ride Check for fast dismount: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

...grrr. And that's my action.

Takega dismounts, but almost immediately collapses on the ground as the adrenaline fades from his system. He looks up at Hanzo.

"Yamikazi-san, I have a wand of cure light wounds in my pack but I do not know how to use it...if you can, I beg you, save her."

Ystrizz - Janira's pack should have one CLW potion left, could you throw it to Hanzo if he can't use my wand?

Brundie, running as fast as he can, doesn't make it across the log in time, in time for what, he can't tell from his distance.

Ystrizz pulls a potion of cure light wounds, yells "Heads up, Hanzo!" and if he's ready to catch, tosses the potion to him.
