Round 1
Zilch moves forward, shouldering past Davros and into the square next to Candi.
"Don't worry, Candi! Ol' Scalebane is here! I'll take care of these kobolds for you," Zilch says, flexing his hand, charging it with the wind's kiss. Electricity dances betwixt his fingers.
He reaches to touch Greenie, the horniest of the kobolds.
TOUCH attack;
electricity damage.
"Ack! I can no see a way in."
A cool look washes over the Qadiran's face. With a pointing gesture and the breathy words "ພະລັງງານທີ່ ອາກາດຫນາວ," a cold energy springs forth from Davros' index finger towards the cowardly kobold facing Candrana.
Zilch smiles as he gives the shocker to the kobold, who dies.
"See that, Candi? Ol' Scalebane is here. Don't you worry."
"Not now, Zilch, Still kind of busy here." Candran says as she attacks the kobold in front of her

Candrana does her best to swing in these cramped conditions, but is unable to hit the dodgy little kobold.
They continue their attacks on Candrana with one of the kobolds stepping forward into a flanking position.
Candrana manages to avoid all three attacks this time around. Hopefully ole scalebane can reduce their numbers again.

"This tunnel is no big enough, is it? Can no see around in this place."
Davros once again calls forth a chilling force of cold to strike at the cowardly kobold facing off against Candrana.
Round 2
Zilch double moves into the room, stooping low and trying to roll past the kobolds.
They can't stop ol' Scalebane!

Round 2
Worried that the low ceiling will cause him problems using his longbow to fire acid or arrows, he instead pulls his short sword.
"Go! ko'boldly!"
He flings the blade at the scalebrain flanking Candrana.
After what appears might be a nasty strike into the little 'bold, the half-elf seems surprised to see sword reappear in his hand. "Huh."

Instead of tumbling through the kobolds and making it impossible for them to strike out at him, Zilchus stumbles and trips and awkwardly spins around. He draws attacks from all three kobolds.
Who are to busy laughing to really get a decent hit it.
Aodan figures he'll join in on the hi-jinx and throws his sword at one of the kobolds. The blade slices open the kobold's chest spilling blood and guts everywhere before the creature collapses. Oh and that other guy tries to do something but everything keeps going wrong for him.

Candrana still has trouble, maybe she just hasn't found the right sword yet.
Being out numbers the kobolds step into a back to back postion. One striking out at Candrana and one at Zilchus.
Both mange to drive their spears home, Candrana taking the heavier blow.

Zilch nearly shrieks as a kobold dares touch him...let alone hurt him.
"Hey! You can't do that! I'm Scalebane!! You know, from the stories I've been telling! You don't do that to me! I'll show you!!" Zilch says as he shows *them*.
They can't stop ol' Scalebane! I'll show them!

Round 3
Seeing an opening, Aodan hunches/stumbles/squeezes/crawls forward to get a clear shot against the 'bolds, sheathing his sword as he moves.
He looks back and nods a Davros, hoping unblocking the bottle-neck might give him a cleaner view of the battle.
With a clearer shot, he tries using his bow again, holding it parallele to the ground to try and take account of the cramped quarters, calling forth an arcane bolt of acid against the enemy [ooc](blue kobold).

Round 3
Davros nods in thanks to Aodan for providing the opening he needed and steps forward drawing forth his sword. He visualizes Zilchus' face on the blueish hued kobold and stikes at the little beastie.
"النطاق عنة مؤخرتي . تتحدث كثيرا، و شممت رائحة مثل كومة الروث و كان لديك آداب قرد Vudrani !" he mutters.
Candrana steps after the last kobold.

Zilchus attempts to stab a kobold, but it looks like his lucky streak is over as his attempt misses. Aodan scrambles past one of the kobolds earning a strike from it's spear.
He moves past unharmed. He then fires off some acid which only manages to hit one of the rocky pillars. Davros takes advantage of the opening and channeling his annoyance of Zilchus, cuts off a kobold's arm. Leaving the creature to bleed out on the cave floor. Candrana stabs at the remaining kobold that just barely misses at the last second as the kobold dodges.
The remaining kobold steps up to Zilchus and attempts to stab the one making all the noise.

Zilch gives the kobold the business end of his longspear.

He chuckles softly. "Hmmm, might be insultin' Vudrani monkeys there."
Aodan moves into position to block the only exit he sees while drawing his sword.
"Γιατί οι άνθρωποι σας καταστρέψει τον ανθρώπινο πύργο; Τι σας κάνει να το πω έτσι, αυτό που είναι τόσο πολύτιμο που κινδυνεύουν ανοικτό πόλεμο και σύμμαχο τον εαυτό σας με ένα ανθρώπινο οδηγό; Ποιος σας οδηγεί σε αυτή την τρέλα"
He readies to attack the kobold if it tries to slip past him.
He smiles at Zilchus, says in his most over-the-top faux Taldan accent, "And lo, mighty Scalebane the Eunuch Unique hath missed... again," and winks at Zilchus as he waits to see what the remaining kobold is going to do.
Candrana grumbles at the remaining Kobold as she swings, "Hey you! He's not much, but he's on our side. I think. Leave him alone, you dried up piece of snakeskin!" Candrana moves to flank the kobold on the other side, swinging at him with nearly everything she has to distract him from his attack on Zilch.

Zilchus misses again. Aodan tries to have a conversation with the kobold while Davros watches Zilchus fight for his life. The Kobold growls back.
He is cut off as Candrana stabs him and he collapses to the ground.
The three humans slowly poke their heads out from where they were cowering. Then scramble forward as they see who the victors are. "Please you must get us out of here, they've kept us here for what feels like months." The man, woman and young girl plead.
Zilch springs to free the humans.
"Ooh!! Hey! I'm Zilch...and that's Candi and those are my two scribes. They are going to tell the story of me, Ol' Scalebane," Zilch says getting prisoners up and bonking his own head on the low ceiling in the process.
"Ow!" Zilch rubs his head, mentally adding up the damage from the kobolds to the bonk. "Damnit! That hurts."
He returns his attention back to the humans.
"So yeah...are there more humans here that I need to save? Have you seen anything more than kobolds? What are you guys doing here?" Zilch asks, taking out the wand of CLW.

As Davros opens his mouth to speak to the captives his chin brushes the bottom portion of this keffiyeh, bringing into sharp contrast that he is indeed a stranger in this land.
Is it better that a Taldan easy these people's fears even when that Taldan is Zilchus? Maybe Aodan will ease their minds, better to keep silent.
Davros takes a step behind his companions and tries exude an air of subservience.
"There now. All is better. These kobolds have kept you here for how long? How did they take you?" Candrana asks, gently.

Though their clothes are more like filthy rags the prisoners seem well fed and only have some bumps and bruises. The man says "My name is Carlo and this is my wife Sela" he gestures toward the woman next to him. "We are merchants that were ambushed on the road a few miles from town." The girl is still a little timid but is able to share her story. "My name is Bophre Malak, my family runs the local dairy farm. The kobold kidnapped me while I was out for an evening stroll."
The man goes on to explain that they have been kept here making small trinkets for at least 2 months. They do not know what these items are for and not knowing draconic they have little insight on the kobolds. There are no other slaves that they know of and they have only seen kobolds.
Zilch looks at Bophre.
"Wait...your mom is Isadorer, right? She sent us to find you...and lookee that. I totally did find you! Another feat in the legend of Scalebane!" Zilch says triumphantly.
"We're going to walk you out of here and then come back and kick more kobold butt. You guys need to get home. Tell everyone about me, Zilchus, Bane of Scales."
Zilch helps get the humans out and returns to loot the kobolds and search that room.
He is ready to follow Aodan to the next place.

The captives thank the adventures for their rescue. They can collect their reward for rescuing Bophre when they return to town. Having all of their worldly possessions taken by the kobolds the merchants can only offer their gratitude.
Looting the kobolds they find nothing but small sized leather armor, spears and slings.
Candrana sighs as she thumbs through the small weapons. "None of these will really do. I know I could be more useful if I had a second weapon sized for me. Hey Zilch, you don't use that dagger of yours overly much. Can I borrow it?"

Davros butts into the conversation, "You, eh, want this? motioning to his shortsword. "Clearly it is no helping to me."
Zilch goes to hand over his dagger...and doesn't remember where he put it. His hands begin to pat various spots on his body (including his dongler and his dark spot) looking for the dagger.
In a confused panic, he takes off his backpack and looks in there. It appears that he's even whispering within, but he does not find what he is seeking.
"Uh...maybe you should borrow Darkrose's sword. It's like new, never having touched any foe," Zilch suggests.
"Thank you, Davros. This should prove useful.Zilch, Aodan, thank you both for the offer. Now, let's see to this.. chief." With sword in one hand and rapier in the other, she too is ready to head deeper in. Surely there are more kobolds to deal with. Candrana will take point.

Following the next passage the low ceiling opens up to a large chamber. Straw is strewn across the floor here. The ceiling vaults to a height of twelve feet. Three ledges, eight feet off the ground, look out over the main cavern. A five-foot-wide, twenty-foot-deep trench runs north to south through the western half of the cavern, with just a five-foot wide bridge of natural stone allowing passage from one side to the other.
Zilch keeps an eye out behind the party, waiting for Candi and the rest to move forward. He doesn't seem surprised by the empty rooms.
"They probably all fled when they heard I was coming anyway."
"Fine, let's go find them, then." Candrana whispers, grimly. She continues moving forward, carefully.

Candrana hears a slight scraping noise from the landing above her. Just as she is about to call out a warning two kobold reveal themselves on the ledge above the party. Across the cavern on the other ledges six more kobold appear slings at the ready.
The Kobolds let loose with a hail of sling stones.

Davros moves past the group. drawing his dagger as he moves past the kobold engaged with Candrana. He turns on this heels and utters a mystical incantation at the kobold engaged with Zilchus the Unique.
