The lone foe curses at Hakon. "That is for Gorum to decide!" He retorts, taking a vicious hack. Then, he steps off to the side and draws out a small vial.

A cursory search reveals 4 unspent potions of cure light wounds (one of which was in the hands of the last Kellid), 2 greatswords, 2 heavy flails, 2 longbows, 2 longswords, 2 slings, 2 alchemist fires, a handful of arrows and sling stones, and 2 potions of unknown origin.

DC 17 Perception:
Upon return to Ulisha's hideout, there are signs that someone has been around. Dust is disturbed in a few places, for sure, but whoever it was did not want anyone else to know they were here.
---------END PART 4---------
The next journal entry seems to point you near the River Kingdom city of Daggermark where there are nests of giant spiders.
DC 10 Knowledge (Local) or Diplomacy:
Daggermark is one f the River Kingdoms. It is an exercise in anarchy, as anyone can hire assassins at affordable rates.
DC 15:
These hires come from an Assassins’ Guild, which has found a particularly deadly partner in a Poisoners’ Guild that also operates out of Daggermark.
DC20:
Because anyone can hire an assassin, everyone in Daggermark tends to be overly polite. Most leaders don’t last very long, as anyone taking exception to their policies can hire deadly force rather easily.
[spoiler=DC25] Your knowledge of the social climate in Daggermak earns you a circumstance bonus later in this chapter!
DC 11 Knowledge(Nature):
Giant spiders are known for their venom, which is known to weaken their prey.
DC 16:
Spider webs contain a strong adhesive that is used as a stabilizer in volatile poisons. This adhesive is most valuable when it is fresh; the silk glands of a freshly killed spider are the best source.
DC21:
Your knowledge of exactly where the silk glands are located provides a +2 bonus on any check to harvest the glands!
I'm going to take this weekend off to focus on the local convention. Feel free to RP the end of the last chapter/the start of this one, and we'll likely pick things up on Monday.

He spat to the side. "Daggermark. City of Anarchy and home of the Assassin's Guild. Where people can buy death at an affordable rate. Grr... The Daggermark Poison's Guild is there as well and work closely with the Assassins."
Hakon frowns as he hears what we are sent out for. "Spider Sacs?"
Kn Nature:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Hakon shrugs, he doesn't recall anything useful about spiders.

Yeah, they have a venom that their silk sacs helps to keep good for a long time. Makes you all weak and slow and fat. She pauses before adding with a grin, Gom-Gom says so.

Hakon turns to Oloch. "Aye! Nothing like the rush of Battle! And the clash of Weapons! To some cowardly way of dealing death. There is no music in such... Slaughter."
Keeping your heads down turns out to be an excellent way to avoid trouble in Daggermark. The trex to the city is uneventful, and the quick turn into the Shroudwood to the East puts the city behind you for the time being. Signs of spider habitation are all over the woods here- -some especially large cobwebs link the highest branches. A cursory glance shows that most of these are abandoned.
A further trek into the shroudwood reeals webs that seem a bit fresher- -glistening white where the older ones were dull gray. These webs crisscross the canopy above, most strands meeting near the center to support a large globe of webbing the size of a large pumpkin.
Kyra, Hakon, and Mavaro notice a pair of spiders beginning to descend and defend their nest, but none of them can react fast enough to outpace the spiders. One descends (Brown) to the ground as the other (Red) sprays webbing all over Oloch!

Uhh.... That's an egg sac over there. Do we want to gather it and sell it as well? Yoon says while taking a few steps toward it. What do you think, Gom-Gom? Do we want a pet spider?
Can we aid on the survival/heal check? I'm no good, but I can help with my untrained +1, hopefully :-P
While Yoon is looking over the egg sack Kyra takes a look at the dead spider.
"I don't think i have encountered a spider as big as this before!"
heal:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
"If you cut carefully here..." says Kyra with a deft slice of her scimitar, "Then we should be able to extract it's silk gland. Does anyone want to try on the other spider?"

With combat over, Hakon simply shrugs and puts his axes back onto his belt. "Well, looks like everything is done. Lets get the other venom sac as well as that egg sac." He walks over to the remaining spider and tries his best to retrieve the sac from it.
Looking at it, he simply shrugs. "Huh, that is something I don't know anything about." He then decides to pull out an axe and chop off all eight of the legs before carrying it under his arm. "Maybe someone will want to get it out themselves back in town."
Kyra expertly harvests the silk glands from both spiders. With two intact glands and the egg sac, the party travels back into Daggermark proper.
Ulisha's note mentions a possible buyer- -one Johannes Vox- -but mentions that he doesn't pay well. The citizens of Daggermark exist in a state of perpetual tension, but it is certainly possible that you may be able to find a more lucrative buyer- -though keep in mind that your actions in Daggermark are always observed by someone, for good or for ill.
Should the party agree to go looking for another merchant, it will require Diplomacy (Gather Info) or Knowledge (Local) checks. If you prefer to keep your heads down and find Johannes Vox instead, please state so.
If you're looking for another buyer:

Debtors tend not to last long in a city of assassins, and Narngar is growing desperate for something he can sell to important patrons to prove that he’s worth keeping around.

With arriving back in Daggermark, Hakon notes who the contact was. He thinks back and tries to recall any others that may want to get what they found.

Hakon nods. "I have heard of a gnome named Ezmerlilly. That person may pay more for the spider parts. We can check them first before we go to the other guy."
This is the first time posting on the phone. I hope it came out alright.
"Well if we're hunting out the best deal lets see if there is anyone else in the market for these items. I'll ask around as carefully as i can."

Hello and thank you very much for running this round!
Here are my name and PFD number:
Player: Siriak
PFS ID#: 12943
We play this round with pre-gens, then apply the certificate to one of our 1st level characters, correct? If that is the case, I am not sure which one of my PFS characters I will apply this to yet. When I figure it out, I will post the full PFS number and my faction. Thanks for your patience!
Alright. We'll give the others a chance to dot in, and head towards the Gralton Cemetery later tonight. (Can't do much more then a status update from my phone, now).

Outside the game note: There has been a death in my family- -this weekend is going to be a bit hectic with funeral arrangements. I know I don't usually update that much over the weekend anyway, but I figured I'd mention it, regardless.
I think after this portion I'll bow out. I recently joined the executive board of a film festival and after tonight's meeting I realized I'm going to have a full plate, so I'll be cutting back on my PbP activity.
Currently I'm playing in 6 games (including an AP) and GMing a Module. I think half of that will be much more manageable.

Sounds good. And thanks for putting up with my first go as PvP GM. (any constructive criticism via PM would be appreciated!)
@Estra:I will endeavor to have you a chronicle PDF tonight or tomorrow. I'll send it via PM, unless you prefer another route.
Thanks much! I'll be GMing this next month so I'll be able to get full credit. I guess leave the PP/Gold section blank? Not sure how that works with PbP. Or you could just fill it out normally and I'll tack on my own sheet afterwards.
