Kurth, Bringer of Civilization
|
I'm very busy in real life at the moment. Nothing serious, just a lot of things that have to get done around the same time. Unfortunately this means I can't post here as much as I would like to. Things will be back to normal on Wednesday or Thursday next week.
But until then I won't be able to write big posts, if I am able to write at all.
Please use these rolls for my next round:
attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (5, 4) + 10 = 19
(still raging)
Kurth will attack the woman again, if she is still standing. Otherwise the halfling.
Since the posting rate in this game is rather slow, that will hopefully be enough to keep Kurth animated till my return.
If not, feel free to remote control him - if that is possible with the PFS rules.

At the moment, you live in the Grand Lodge's quarters. You can live in an inn/apartment if you want to, but that would have to come from your own pocket. Unless you can give me a good story reason why you're living in an apartment for free...But it has to be exceptionally good. Eventually, you may buy a residence with prestige points. The Pathfinder Society Field Guide lists them.

I would hope so too. But it's been 11 days since he last posted and this session is pretty combat-oriented. Generally, Illias has been good about being around, but it isn't fair to the entire group. If we want to move on, I'll either have to bring in Zeriah or a couple other players until Illias can come back. This first combat is nearly over, so I can just skip him for now, but, like I said, I think we need to come up with a long term plan just in case.
I really just think I'm cursed as a GM :P

Legally no. Because of the set-up of First Steps, you're not aligned with a faction and one of your prestige points is currently tied up until the end of the third session (when you join a faction). You can pool your money and buy one though.
I'll open recruitment for two more folks. Hopefully it'll work out :P

Actually, Henry, as long as they know which faction they belong to, which it seems they do (Since he has the taldor faction and the grand lodge) he is allowed to be given his 2pp for his session in the first part of first steps. If a person doesn't know what faction they are going to be then it defaults to what you were saying. You can go into first steps knowing which faction you are apart of.
We can't pool are money together to buy items, that is illegal in PFS play.

Ah, right. You can pool money for services. My bad. The whole faction choice ordeal was due to the chronicle sheet I have (where without a choice I would have to send multiple copies).
"The three-part First Steps series is intended to introduce new players and new characters from experienced players to the Pathfinder Society, the city of Absalom, and the ten factions to which all members of the Pathfinder Society Organized Play campaign belong. While each adventure in the series is a self-contained story, they are intended to be played in order by brand-new PCs without any experience or Prestige Points. At the end of the third scenario, A Vision of Betrayal, after the PCs have met and done a favor for all 10 faction heads, they will be able to choose their PCs’ allegiance and gain retroactive prestige for the completion of the previous two scenarios." (pg. 4, In Service to Lore)
"In Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you may never buy items from, sell items to, or trade items with another player." (pg. 24, Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play)
It does not specifically mention the pooling of money to buy an item, so you can understand my confusion on the matter. Either approach will be a matter of fudging, but I suppose the spending of prestige points for the wand will be more in line with the rules.
