With Vermin's direction the velociraptor attacks the demon, distracting her, and making each person melee attacking her have an easier time to hit.

It does... I'll allow another 12 hours or so for other attacks but so far Val and Vermin hit, the others miss... this is likely to leave the creature alive at this rate. We are also very very near to the end of the 'Game Day' event so this is what we are gonna do... for her action she is going to use a SLA again. IF you are in melee range for an AoO roll it now as well. If insufficient damage is done she'll survive and this will be reflected on the chronicle (the chronicle actually tracks it). In any case I'll close this game out in 24 hours and report it as a mission success as you found the murderer and will have succeeded in ending the murders, and send out chronicles.

With regards to the above attack. With Vermin's aid, it's a 23 to hit.

I went back and retro'ed the '23' to '25' and gave you the hit. It still wasn't enough.

She had 25 AC and 122hp with DR10 and apart from a single round from Taydan, where he rolled poorly, Garen was the only one using a Cold Iron weapon.

She is pretty hardcore.

It could have perhaps gone down to a win given more time, it could have also gone much worse - had she dominated Slyph the unhittable, he could have gone berserk, Valeros was a great player who agreed to work through the domination for better RP impact but he wasn't able to capitialise on his rolls due to the massive AC. Given time she could have re-appeared in another place only to spam Charm person and suggestions to you again before whittling down the survivors.

Hope you all had fun. Will need a day or two to get the chronicles out to you via a skydrive link.

We needed some buff spells like Align Weapon. Even spells like Bless would have been great. We had no buffs except a few self buffs. Vermin's inability to use a lot of metal weapons hunt him here. He could have shape shifted into something huge, but it would not have done more damage and if he grappled the creature could still teleport.


Oil of align weapon and bless weapon would have helped for sure. Food for thought with anyone playing season 5 games
