You travel during the night and it is just before daybreak. The thick trees, brush, and brambles of the Verduran Forest finally give way to a glassy lake with a small tree-studded island just thirty feet offshore. An improvised bridge of mossy logs stretches toward the island from the near shore, though some of the trunks have tipped nearly vertical into the water, leaving gaps along the makeshift bridge.

Zaarah dashes across the bridge, while showing of how easy it is for her. She even goes so far as to jump from bridge to bridge while doing a sommersault. When she lands it, perfectly of course, she feels something brush against her ankle and before she knows it is she hangs upside down from a snare that is attached to a branch overhead! What makes matters worse is that the action disturbed two small green snakes that are now slithering towards her...

As the group traveled during the night, Theolish took care of their bumps and bruises. Seeing the bridge, he waited for the others to cross, only to find out that there was a slight problem with the pair of snakes waiting for them.
Moving around the tree trunk, Theolish stared upwards to the near one.

Kennick tries to move over the slippery logs. Initially he is not able to make any progress but he is a quick learner and moves nimbly over the logs. Zaarah is not deterred by her strange position and pierces one of the snakes. The other one suddenly falls asleep!
Working together the pathfinders free Zaarah and move over the logs to the druidic circle. In the distance you can see dawn break, you are just in time! The only thing is that nobody is in the circle...
I assume you have an ioun torch or other light source out for those without darkvision

From atop the center stone you hear a voice call out "Did you come to watch me destroy the lore stone? I don't like that. Kill them!"
Alrik feels something prick his ear and when he turns his head he sees another atomie with a tiny rapier "Come on dwarf, let's duel!" Zaarah sees a fey materialize before her eyes. It slashes her with it's shortsword and then runs away, faster than she held possible!

Stepping around the center stone, Theolish smiled. "Nice try, you should have kept running. Now its my turn...you are getting very sleepy!" he said, staring at the fleet-footed fey. "It might be easier Zaarah if you just pin him to the ground.

The fey runs towards Teloish and stops just inches away from the dhampir, but not before Zaarah and Alrik have attempted to hit it! Zaarah's stab is too slow, but Alrik is quick enough! As with the other fey this one seems not entirely hurt by the normal axe, but some blood shows. Jeb's splash misses while Kennick is ready for the fey if it would have come closer. Unfortunately for our stalwart warrior the fey was listening to Teloish

Alrik and Zaarah use the opportunity to attempt to strike the fey, but only Alrik's strike connects. Jeb's splash is easily evaded and the fey just grins at Teloish. Kennick runs up.
The fey smiles and darts away, towards Teloish! But not after Zaarah has taken the opportunity to hit it. Alrik and Kennick are just a bit too slow. The fey easily hits Teloish and stops at the other end of the clearing.
