Doh! Sorry about that. Yes Snowball should only have one attack. The first roll by him would have been a miss. Sorry DM, please retcon the 6 points of damage.

He then moves further in, similarly commanding Snowball to do the same, so as to open up space for his party.

Normally, I try to resolve in initiative order, but given the bottleneck and the holiday weekend for some, I will just resolve some of this now.

Snowball tears into the red troglodyte, pulling him down in the process. Garn then slams his scimitar down on him, and the troglodyte passes out from the wounds.

Pau moves into position now that red is not a threat, and punches blue right in the face.

My mistake - last minute travelling plan threw me off, and I tried posting on the run. Radagast's first attack would have finished red, so subsequent attacks are applied to blue, who is now close to done and prone.

Graff will delay, so we may continue.

Blue tries to stand (allowing AoO from Snowball, Garn, Pau and Radagast... should it survive, I will handle it's attack).

Green attacks Garn, trying to open up an escape route for Blue. Garn's defenses are too good, though, and the attack fails.

Jayori will try talking to the humans. First in common, then realizing that unlikeliness of that, will try draconic.

Knowledge | GSC | Mummy's Mask | WftC | RotR$ | Carrion Crown

Draconic works, but common does not.

Speaking in Draconic, they are pretty beat down, but they thank you for your assistance. By releasing the slaves, you earned another victory point!

Voices sound out further down the hall—the guttural and staggered ringing of human speech rather than the lilting hisses of snakes. Men and women—many of them malnourished and wounded but athletic nonetheless—stand over the fresh corpses of troglodyte minders while gripping stolen blades and makeshift clubs.

I think you still have that Aid token - in case anyone would like to make use of it.

Silver Crusade

LG Human Paladin 4 / Bard 1 / Dragon Disciple 4 *Core*

Can we tell what language they seem to be using by default? The humans. Can't imagine draconic is their primary language. Admittedly, Jayori's out of languages he knows, so guess I can't complain =)

"It would seem the locals are fighting back." Jayori says with satisfaction.

"Perhaps they can tell us things we can not learn from observing?"

He will make an attempt to interact (positively!), approaching the bedraggled humans trying not to look threatening.

"We have freed some of your own back that way." He begins. "They might need further assistance."

If and when it comes up: Diplomacy: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Does anyone speak Azlanti Thassilonian or Undercommon? Draconic works, though.

A powerfully built woman Uszanriar, whose face and arm were heavily burned, seemingly leads the rebels. She is unfriendly towards you as you approach, but Jayori is able to calm her fears that you are some sort of serpent trick.

Nice Diplo roll - You managed to change her attitude to friendly without any of the circumstance bonus or aid!

"Allies?" she asks.

Assuming you say yes, she continues. "My name is Uszanriar. General Krahnaliara Lac Suhn, our commander, was dragged away by the priests only an hour ago. I believe that he is now somewhere within their temple. I have dedicated myself more to fighting off the serpentfolk!"

Silver Crusade

LG Human Paladin 4 / Bard 1 / Dragon Disciple 4 *Core*

"Yes, allies!" Jayori will quickly reply.

"Which way leads to this temple?" He asks. "And are there more threats down here to be dealt with?"

Knowledge | GSC | Mummy's Mask | WftC | RotR$ | Carrion Crown

These maps are a little generic just to provide combat visuals. They don't really match up to a whole... In fact, we are just waiting for the slave pens to be under control, and then you can move on to the temple. Until then, the way is blocked. You can continue to interact with these rebels, if you like. Many of them are injured and under-equipped.

Silver Crusade

LG Human Paladin 4 / Bard 1 / Dragon Disciple 4 *Core*

Can we use our Aid Token burst of healing effect to get the injured npcs? =)

Thought there was an announcement earlier that the temple interior is unlocked? Or is that where we are?

Knowledge | GSC | Mummy's Mask | WftC | RotR$ | Carrion Crown

Yes! You may use your aid token for that. Do you?

My understanding is that some tables that can fly bypassed the two areas we were in and flew straight to the Temple Plaza, which has been announced as claimed. But while the Temple Interior is now discovered, we can't get there until the Slave Pits are claimed, allowing access to the Temple Plaza which we will skip, and then join the others in the Interior.
